I think Bandicam is all round the best one, it’s easy to use and it doesn’t slow down your machine. You can easily configure it to record in x264 for high quality at a small file size.
If ONE problem happens, the group wipes due to AoE poison from the spider queen, AoE from the Howling King, or mobs, or Kohler’s AoE, or whatever else. And then the group falls apart, and nobody is having fun..
Get a better guardian.
Yes, they indeed stealth fixed some stuff.
Also in the dredge fractal, you can’t jump on the little tower to kill the champion from ranged anymore.
Rome wasn’t built in a day. They are doing what they can. Ragging them about it won’t speed up the process.
That’s true, but it’s not an excuse for doing basically nothing in 1 year.
If you’re observing someone in pvp and they leave the match, your game client will most likely crash.
The preview from yesterday was basically the whole patch.
Why am I not surprised?

It was already suggested something like this, but Anet completely ignored it at the time.
Mesmer community “please fix scepter 1”
Anet “we’re reducing cd on scepter 2 and 3”
Okay.
ending is great haha
+1 nice video
Can I have an invite? ty
Known issue, they’re working on it.

What do you have set for your sound settings in game?
I toyed with them for a bit but nothing worked. I have also updated the audio drivers but that didn’t work either.
It’s something within the game. It started with the tequatl patch and affected many people. We need some answers from Anet.
Bump. Same issue.
I have the same issue. I tried with the above but I can’t find the local.dat file.
edit: found it. It was in a whole different folder
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2
edit2::
I did all the above but the sound issue is still there. Please help.

Italy here and the lag is getting unbearable.
If you swap your agony trinkets while you’re defeated, the agony resistance gets bugged. You have to unequip and equip them again after you get ressed.

Is it too hard? Respect the awesome work

Completed zone 2 after 2 hours and using at least 7 coins. Not even arah path 4 is such a pain. I’m not playing this bullkitten anymore. This is not fun at all, devs.
@everyone: they made it this hard just to sell more infinite coins off the gem store. Don’t fall for this trap.
Hello fellow mesmers, I come here victorious after finally managing to beat tier 3 Deadeye guy with 5 gambits. Here’s how I did it:
sword pistol and sword focus
full berserker and ruby orbs
utilities: mirror (heal), mantra of distraction, feedback, any
Build:
10 (III)
30 (II, IV, IX)
5 (leftover)
0
25 (any, X)
Get all gambits except crowd favorite.
Start with iDuelist, immediately swap and cast Phantasmal warden and go in the middle of the dome. When warden stops spinning, cast feedback. In the meantime swap back to pistol and cast iDuelist as soon as it’s ready. When you see a circle under you, use sword 2 to evade the killshot. Stick with pistol, don’t swap, he should be already at half health. Heal when necessary. When he uses killshot again, use sword 2 if it’s ready, otherwise stun him with pistol 5 (this can be tricky if he teleports when you shoot. You can also use mantra of distraction but its range is lower, so be careful). At this point, even if you get downed you should have 2 iDuelists out that will tear him apart quite quickly.
Hope this guide helps!

we will however continue to update both content and rewards in Fractals as the year progresses.
Well I certainly hope so, since Fractals is the only decent end game content in the game and you’ve basically left it to rot.
In pvp yes, it’s definitely worth it since you get hit a lot.
In pve not so much since you should avoid getting hit.

Adding variety to builds, huh, Anet?
Thanks for supporting the game. lol at you.
Yes it’s one of those topics again.
I’m sorry but this just got ridiculous and needs to be addressed asap.
Not even a single rare from lv 30.
Is this working as intended?
“Quite a bit”?
That’s some euphemism lol
Neither. Go with vision stuff.
I’ve used the Magic Bullet to interrupt boss attacks before but it’s somewhat unreliable. I’ve noticed that after a successful interrupt there is a long period before it actually affects the boss. I may be crazy, but that’s what I’ve seen, at least.
I love the focus for it’s mobility and disruption but I use Sword/Pistol, personally.

To answer TC, definitely focus, for the reasons listed by gorma.

Zero. Playing since launch.
Go to pvp area and test it yourself on dummies?
+1 to this, especially in WvW.
This kitten is really getting out of hand.
Update: I think it was a transmutation bug. I transmuted those shoes into the tier 3 cultural shoes and the bug was still present. But now I have fixed the issue by using the “remove dye” tool. Hopefully this helps someone else.
There’s a bug with the Norn tier 2 foot light cultural armor (Havroun Shoes).
First of all, if you try to change the default dyes on this piece of armor, the dyes aren’t saved, they reset to default each time you close the dye menu. After that, if you unequip the shoes, the game client crashes.
This is the crash log I get:
http://pastebin.com/v8RsbegA
FYI, my shoes were transmuted.
I second this. Most of the time I can’t see what the enemy/boss is doing because of all the visual effects.
Also, by going the condition way, you’ll also increase tough/vit, making you a bit more tankish. But imo, I’ve found direct damage much more effective overall, you just need to be extra careful.
Congratulations on your blue item reward.
and makes me wonder if I should gear more tough/vit and less pwr/pre
Berserker/valk equipment is fine, you just need to know how to avoid damage, that’s all this game is about, trust me. If you start boosting tough/vit you’ll just turn into a bad copy of a warrior. For starters, drop p/p altoghether and use shortbow.
You prove the point though. If S/P is so good, why does no one use it? The answer is that it is weak.
Nah, people are just ignorant copypasters and are too lazy to try out new things.
S/P is absolutely fine as it is now.
Silver – you should look at venoms if you want to play a support thief that’s built for condition damage. Here’s a link:
http://www.gw2build.com/builds/venom-healer-venom-heal-support-thief-condition-overkill-5304.html
Just make sure you’re close by your allies when you apply the venoms.
That’s an interesting build. What set of armor/runes and trinkets do you go with that?
We Want Mounts!!!
No, we don’t.
Yeah, S/P is an amazing set with infiltrator’s strike to quickly get in and out of combat, pistol whip for semi invulnerability and stuns, and black powder to perma blind trash mobs.
Traits are disabled during many transformations. (But not any skill based transforms, I believe.)
Huh?!
Do you realize that many mesmer builds rely on that specific trait?
So, the only buff we got so far has already been nerfed.
I’m going back to my Guardian.
If I have my utility skill on cooldown, I cannot switch it until the cooldown time is over.
You should allow the switch, obviously keeping the cooldown time on the new utility skill.
Yes, you’ll get another token.
The mobs SHOULD despawn after an unsuccessful attempt, but they don’t.
So much this. You only have one chance at 20+, and if you mess up something your entire run is ruined.
+1 to this.
It would make group suicides in fractals a bit less annoying :P
Report him. They do ban for these things.
