Guild Wars 2

Shouldn’t have come across as harsh as it did apparently seem. I get excited about my profession and when I see things that would so obviously (in my opinion) make it overpowered, I can’t help but overdo it I suppose. My point does still stand though that mace is one of the most used guardian weapons, and that is not subjective, it’s a fact.

You goofy goobers are welcome to feel however you want. At the end of the day, the mace won’t get changed because it doesn’t need to be changed. Rather than spending your time posting on the gw2 forums about how much you hate this weapon, why not use that same amount of time to try to get good with it?

Mace is probably one of the best weapons guardians have. The slower cast times keep things “balanced”. That B word is a new concept for some of you, I can tell.

Please stop mindlessly asking for buffs. Play your profession for a while before exposing your inexperienced self to the rest of the community.

The shield is nowhere close to needing a buff. The shield is one of my favorite guardian weapons. If you’re using a ranged projectile blocking skill at point blank range, like you said in your original post, then I don’t know why on earth you’d expect it to work…

Yeah, they went to all the effort of updating all the world bosses to make them more fun and challenging…. for two weeks? What kind of ill-thought out op is this?

Yes to points on stomp. No to stat boosts. Stat boosts are almost exactly the same as the orbs that you already removed once.

I do believe you listen to us. Now impress the community by PROVING that you listen. Bloodlust clearly isn’t wanted here.

Since apparently you live under a rock, spirit rangers were basically the most op thing in the game since release. Thier nerf has been long overdue, as ANet was just waiting until after PAX for them to tone it down again. Do some research before complaining too much please.

Ha, don’t get me wrong, I’d love the extra condition removal, but deep down know good and well that that wouldn’t be in the best interest of keeping everything balanced. Guardians have a lot going for them already.

I used that not too long ago and didn’t notice the heal. I specifically watched for it, but didn’t see it. However, I didn’t do any serious testing with it.

Nope. Trust me. Pure of Voice alone removes 2 and with soldier’s runes removes 3. I’ve seen it posted all over the forums as well, just didn’t see it actually reported as a bug.

Title pretty much says it all. Unless I’m missing something, it definitely seems to be bugged. Tested it with guildies and it removes multiple conditions every time.

Was hoping I could get some fancy shmancy artwork too if you get around to it! If you need ideas, having the shield in one hand, and the helmet in the other would fit my character’s personality well if possible. If not, I’m not picky, just impressed by your art.

I’ll probably throw some sort of tip in as well.

Maybe try posting in the right spot on the forums. That’ll help speed up your guild finding process.

They’re still considering different types of gamemodes. Also, there will never be a GW3. GW2 will just keep evolving to eventually become GW3 they say.

On topic though, sPvP is growing in GW2. It got off to a fairly rough start with the lack of tools and newbies being scared away by constant slaughterings. Now they’re fixing some of that, and sPvP is on the rise. It’s only a matter of time.

Asking for this item to be more powerful is asking for GW2 to being 1 step closer to being buy to win! ANet did the right thing here. They could have EASILY made more moeny by making it stronger, but they didn’t and I commend them for it. Nice job ANet, just keep ignoring ill-thought out comments such as ones you’ll find here.

There is a reason guardians don’t have much swiftness… they aren’t supposed too. They’re the strong, but slow class. Stop asking for swiftness. What’s next? Stealth too?

You are so far behind the curve. They announced within 24 hours of releasing it, that they’d work on fixing it. No, it’s not competitive. Notice how it’s not in Team Tournies or PAX Prime?

I’m really surprised at the lack of people thinking replays would be a much needed addition. They’re that final tool that would allow Guild Wars 2 to finally be the ESport it is destined to be.

I hope this is a joke thread. If necro isn’t viable, then why does EVERY team headed to PAX have at least 1 necro on their team?

On a side note, why did you copy/paste that first line from someone complaining about Mesmers?

I’d imagine I’m not alone that when it comes to the more competitive side of sPvP, it is definitely all about team tactics and working together. One thing that helps that teamwork is being able to learn from your mistakes, or learn strategies from better teams out there. If there is no ability to watch replays of matches, I have a hard time understanding how you can really call Guild Wars 2 an ESport. I love the idea that it’s trying to be one, and support it all the way, but in my opinion not being able to watch replays is the big turnoff that makes me wonder.

I have tried to watch MistLeague games and follow a certain character, but it is incredibly difficult to try to figure out who is where just by looking at that minimap in the corner of the screen, or figure out what they’re doing there. I honestly believe the ability to watch replays and follow who you want would be a great addition.

Anyone else think replays would be a nice addition?
