Also the ranking system i mean seriously come on i was top ranked back in the day because no one knew how to play and i only played like 40 games back then.

Ok to begin, it is not “structured pvp” unless you make a team. This game has so many casuals like myself who found themselves in solo arena more often because it was quick and 100% randoms vs randoms. With the solo option gone and having to face a “structured” team of 5 players they outweigh pugs. I have 6 people i can pvp with here and there but most of the time it is 2 of us and we are put in a random team that just cannot perform as well as a “structured” team. This creates a lot of frustration for players who are organised but are put in a team with people who are not. Maybe create a rank vs rank system like in LoL bronze silver gold yada yada. I feel silly playing with randoms and then being criticised because we lose or watching someone get criticised because they don’t know how to play yet. It is sad and i know for a fact that this is a solid reason to why people don’t pvp as much as they want to. Guild wars has always had a lot of competition and people always want to be the best but with all seriousness how can I as a casual player who works 2 jobs and goes to university even rank ? If i am put with players who know nothing about the game then why should I be going back in time? Achievements meant something in guild wars 1 but now they are just a show off of who grinds the most. Sorry if similar things have been posted before, I simply do not read forums peace x

The map encourages only a zergball playstyle , which leads to only full wipes on one side. I dont think such a map , especialy now that even score matters , should be in the COMPETITIVE rotation.

You want to be number 1 ranked gw2 player lol? Learn to co op with your team and utilise skills in every game format. Zerging is apart of gw2, it is unique and it is a completely different game play, all together i enjoy both pvp and wvw but zerging has its own tactics to survive and deal damage. Sure one will say aoe everything but how good are you at actually landing every hit and dodging when you need to? How about using a different tactic and expanding your brain kid

Keep it it’s sick. Only a total “noob” would say get rid of it. There is one post by teef teef teef saying get rid of it simply because he thinks he is some sort of thief god while i dropped him on my guard.

Arenanet like to take their time with content although gw1 had a lot of new things come quicker than expected i expect them to bring much more into the game and not just pvp wise. If they where to rip out more now then the game would die a few months later whereas if they take their time then more people will play what it is now and the older players will come back when there is newer content. Take the release of cantha in gw1 for example it brought new maps and skills for pve aswell as sick maps for pvp. It got an even bigger crowd and by just witnessing all these things happen i am sure arenanet know what they are doing! It being a free game means you dont have to be there every day getting your moneys worth because you already have it. Peaaace

Necromancers are much better at 1v1 then an ele simply because their skills aren’t based on aoe like and ele is cough A pro vs pro fight ends with whoever gets the first hit and whoever can dodge and reflect the most. This is where TEAM CO-ordination COUNTS You wont know what your opponents build is and changing one skill can make a huge difference against another class. I dont beleive in this best ele best necro bs because i have wrecked so many heads out there that this gw2 ranking just means who smashes gw2 the most peace xoxoxoxo

I have been a solo player since day 1 but I think it is time to join the community. I have a level 80 of each class and know how to utilise any build. Sick of solo arena and need a team to progress further into my ranks. Hit me up in game peace

The Hall Of Monument reward item Chimeric Prism Focus has clipping issues with every race making it the most pointless and ugliest item to wield. It rubs against the body too much and when put away looks silly. Some effort should be put into this item as in guildwars 1 it was amazing, once known as storm artifact.
