Is it just me or does WvW participation seem lower across all servers these past few weeks/months? T2 doesn’t feel as populated as it once did.

Actually no WvW has never been more popular in DB than since we lost our guilds to SoS… Not sure about FA/TC

You can hit there with a wider FOV from multiple monitors or window adjustment and an Arrow cart to the right side of the door. with regards to the FOV thing please read this

Yeah but Lani and others were pretty vocal about complaining about it when our guys apparently did it. My point really is that all servers are doing it. Personally I’m not overly ticked about it, it’s annoying sure, and there are ways to counter it, but I wanted to point out that the previous pages decrying this .. well you get what I’m saying.

I shouldn’t have to explain this but the quote is in reference to T1 servers saying the hope DB implodes…. Where CO comes into the picture or where they transfer to really have nothing to do with that quote.

NNK has always been on DB. They were a smaller 10-15man force in the beginning. LLB spearheaded DB’s asian WvW with about 20-30 people, after having split off from TWin. TWin made up most of DB’s pug forces during that time.

Oceanic isnt really Mandarin speaking.

But SEA is, at least those from Taiwan and possibly Malaysia.

Singapore, Philipines, Indonesia et al arent likely to be primarily Mandarin speaking.

That said, i really dont think think any guilds would be moving anywhere, it’s just kinda weird to do so, BUT future recruitment from the Mandarin speaking population will be interesting for sure.

What i find VERY interesting is how much a transfer from a former T2 server has so much to say about their new home, i mean they didnt even have a hand in helping them move to T2 no?

I’ve been on DB since headstart but i did join CO when they came to DB. Next time ask instead of assuming.

I mean I can understand wanting a more balanced WvW its not fun to win all of the time, or have big ques and not be able to play. But I am sad to see if JQ becomes the next victim. If you guys can just hold it together we would have a really balanced T1 now that BG is stepping up their game and using some better tactics and SoR got some guilds that are not NA.

It just seems kinda strange to me to go to Dragonbrand. Dragonbrand was my server at the begining of the game. It was doing pretty good in T2 then we lost one time and the whole thing fell apart and everyone left. The only reason DB is in T2 now is its becasme the next bandwagon server. I hate to use this term becasue it has a negative sense to it. And I’m not saying that is bad, But I’m saying that somtimes these servers are fundamentally unstable. And when somthing bad happens like some big drama goes down and people start to xfer off everyone starts to xfer in the same maner they got there in the 1st place.

So yeah I dont understand this neew plan lets move to DB just so we can get back to T1 where we already were in the 1st place. But probably be facerolled by BG or something. Instead of staying where we are and kicking BGs kitten I dont get it.

We both know that no server gets to T2 or even T1 naturally. Especially this late in the game. After having dropped to T5 do to almost all of the major WvW guilds leaving the server. I was on DB with TSyM and many other guilds. DB had no oceanic coverage at all. So our main WvW core transferred to SoS at the time becasue SoS was I think a T4 server with great ocianioc coverage. MY guild at that time xfered to SoR. After that happened DB dropped all the way to to T5. You dont go from T5 to T2 this late in the game without xfers it doesnt happen.

The only guilds that transfered in when we were in T6 (actually) was BP,Krew,TG and krew has since left. I"m not sure when NNK came but it was right after TSYM left but I do apologize since I forgot BP and TG weren’t always on DB

I’m not trying to say you guys are bad at all. I think its great you guys are doing better now. I’m just saying from my perspective after having witnessed DBs demise and being there when that happened. Most peoples left the server becasue we couldn’t even fill a single borderland with enough people to even hold a single keep. let alone 4. The server was a big PVE server and we couldnt even get the PVE players into wvw to try and make up for such a loss.

Yea man, it has only gotten better the past two months… PvE still focused here jsut more WvW guilds now. I remember those days well
I mean the recent transfers since all of our guilds have been on DB for months, I should of clarified that.

Seems i’ve hit a nerve. But i stick to what i said, DB greatly benefited from KN falling from the tier, in more ways than one. I’m not sure why you’re taking issue with it now, you were happy to have guilds from KN. I’m expecting the same thing to occur with JQ. Call me cynical.

Two things

1) If you guys are still discussing how that AC was hitting behind the gates at south hills… an AC below where you build a treb to hit lake tower can hit there behind south hills gate. Pretty standard tactic in tier 1 to clear out siege at south hills.

2) DB please please take this time to point out and educate some of your guys coming into the Tier 1 thread about how DB will come storming in, on how the rating system works.

2) The only person from DB I’ve seen post in T1 thread is lani, the rest are either not from DB or I don’t know who they are.

While I don’t agree with chest thumping that takes place on the forums, I will say that said chest thumping was in response to some TC saying DB was trash/bad/terrible in the last Kain/TC/FA thread before we arrived. However, I don’t hold all of TC in bad eyes for that so why would you hold DB in bad eyes?

Signet of the Lotus in your build should be replaced by Spectral Walk, imo. Between spectral walk and Locust Swarm it’s 45 seconds of swiftness, and warhorn has a 30 second recharge – pop it again, and then pop Spectral Walk again when it’s cooldown is up, and boom! perma swiftness. More faster than the signet’s 25% too.

Thanks for the tip! It’s going to have to wait since I’m out of skill points from making a legendary as in I don’t have spectral unlocked….. I’m terribad

Does your guild know that you troll the forums like this and basically give people a bad impression of your guild? You seem pretty hurt. Instead of judging an entire server, like you have in your previous posts, why don’t you just continue doing what you “do” and go wipe some enemies on the field.
