I am loving the DB bashing we have so far. Here’s are some reasons why DB is hated among the old T1 servers.

1) They acted like they are the new big guy and talked about replacing the old T1 JQ and SoR 2 weeks after they went from T3 to T2.

So the plan is SoR getting blue spot and then when JQ is red DB will take their place in T1 ? :p

Two successful guild transfers. RISE to Blackgate. EMP/RE to Dragonbrand. Yes there is a lot of drama, just mentioning EMP transferring to Dragonband gets people riled up.

I know one thing, SoR needs to go…. NOW

If they don’t leave, they just going to get squashed like a bug like they always do. SoR is worthless in T1.

2) last month when JQ was losing badly to BG, some of the DB folks went to JQ’s LA, and talked about JQ ‘was dying’ and tried to recruit the remaining JQ guilds for DB. Trying to demoralize a T1 server as a T2 server and speed up the dying process of JQ so they can take the advantage? that should give you some idea about the class of this server’s wvw community

Yes cause ALL of DB came into T1 forums and starting saying moronic kitten? If you are going to quote someone, do it by name and not DB guy. Nobody cares about your drama with [RE] but based on the nasty vulgar private messages I received from people on JQ, I would have left also.

P.S. Every server has come onto DB to try to recruit our guilds.

I suggest Dragonbrand (pretty much Kainengbrand). A few kaineng guilds already transfered there so I think your guild will see many people you already know as well as meet many new people.

TC and DragonBrand. Wouldn’t even be competitive due to all these SEA/OCEANIC/EURO guilds acquired in order to win T1, but it would give us people to fight. TC NA is top notch imo, and DB’s SEA would be fun for our SEA guys. Does DB have a Euro force to keep IRON entertained? xD

i’ve not seen anyone suck another guilds kitten so hard.

in my solo and 2 man roaming so far, i’ve not encounted anyone from agg with exceptional skill. granted they didn’t die as easily as bads, but died nevertheless.

i guess thats why they wont go under 20v20 gvg, probably rely heavily on group synergy rather than individual skill.

You know its funny, i see all these decent people posting from DB, and yet they are all the recent transfers. It honestly seems like these people have no idea about their new home server yet, especially the oceanic zerg. I’ve gone up against DB many times since launch (im an oceanic commander), I’ve defended a west keep attack from DB for 7 hours successfully whilst outmanned, and until about 3 months ago, that would be about the norm for DB. Then all of a sudden DB realized they could literally DPS the door down without siege; Thats right, the zerg becomes so large, it turns into it’s own siege engine. DB stopped being a server to me then and just became a joke (kaineng is a lot like DB was at the beginning of the blob war too now, but they’ve lost the experienced guys I think).

So please, people of DB.. dont misunderstand this thread being full of DB hate. Its more disdain then anything else. You’ve got the population to be t1 and easily win, but the mentality of something far far less.

For me it’s not so much the rampant zoom hacking and the flying robots. It’s the fact that fighting against bandwagon servers means we encounter way too much skill lag for big fights to be very much fun. If all I get to do in WvW is auto-attack it’s not really worth playing. I honestly don’t know how you guys who play in the blob tiers can stand it.

Even without transfers this match-up would still be in favor for DB…

That’s a pretty self-serving post consisting of nothing more than imaginations on your part.

DB did become a bandwagon server. It’s just a fact. There’s even a quote from Loki of NNK floating around about it. This happens to lots of servers, and I personally don’t see too much of a problem with it. It only becomes a problem when a FULL server is still trying to recruit. They couldn’t transfer to DB even if they wanted to…

Yes, DB did get to T2 mostly on their own. The transfers mostly had nothing to do with that. Transferring your guild to a winning server is a “bandwagon” move. That is where the reputation/allegations come from.

I don’t know the history of DB. The only guild I wasn’t sure about was Agg. Didn’t they have something to do with the rise of DB in T3, or did they transfer in late like everyone else?

No, transfers came in after DB was headin to T2. It has been stated that DB needed guilds to help stay competitive in this tier and received guilds when we came in. Now move on, this topic has been discussed/lied about/ blasted by lots of people, frankly it’s annoying at this point. DB was not Kain, we were not carried tiers by transfers and if people wanna bandwagon to DB now, who cares. At this point, DB needs to shut up about it and so does TC and FA.

TC and FA I’m calling for a Karma/WXP/rank train with this seige bug…. For instance DB goes into FA, FA goes into TC, and TC goes into DB… We all win lol
