I don’t think of rB as a good guild. I saw the video of your last GvG with EB. The cheating (you had pugs hopping in and out, more than 20, and you started the skill point) was terrible. EB clearly won that one… Mainly because of the cheating and GvG is usually bout of 3 or out of 5. And they won those even with the cheating…

Hey all,

I’m looking for a new server for myself and guildmates. We’re a WvW focused guild and looking for a server with a good wvw presence and has oceanic/asian timezone coverage(Tired of losing everything overnight).

We play during NA primetime 4-12pm central, So we’d like to find a home in which we’d help make a difference and not just add to a zergfest. Currently during our wvw nights we bring 30+ members and on our off days we’re usually 15+

Reasons for us wanting to leave current server.
- Server is full of 1-4man PVE guilds who make up a completely unorganized zerg.(We’re one of maybe 2 guilds who are WvW focused who bring 30+)
- Server has a very negative attitude which believes you can’t win unless you outnumber the enemy. (Our guild thrives on fighting superior numbers)
- Current group of commanders in wvw are karma farmers who don’t care about wvw score(It’s a PVE server), So they happily trade T3 assets for paper assets.

If you think your server fits the description let me know via reply/message.

So from what I understand.

Your an NA guild looking for a server you can make a difference in (a server with small a NA crew) but you don’t want to get your stuff flipped overnight (good coverage eliminates servers below bracket 2) and you don’t want to always run in a zerg (eliminates t1 servers, TC still questionable).

SOR=- Too many zergs, Heavy NA, stacked
JQ=- Too many zergs, Large NA, stacked
BG=- Too many zergs, Large NA, stacked
TC=- Many zergs, good NA, kind of stacked. + good coverage
DB= +/- Some zergs depending which prime and guild raid schedules. +developing NA + great coverage
FA= – Little to no coverage, good na
EB= No coverage +not many zergs
SoS=- lacks coverage (has an ok oceanic) + Not many zergs.

Lol fa little to no coverage. Yes you won last week but we’ve beaten you guys a few times. So far this reset we have been over 300 ppt most of the day and over 400 at night.

The only reason you beat DB was because TC focused their entire server on DB and limited our points. This is clearly proven by our last couple of matches where you lost by 100K+ points. FA is fighting smaller servers that don’t have much or any coverage at all, so your second point is invalid.

If SoS oceanic was that good, they wouldn’t end up losing most of their stuff during oceanic primetime. The only time this doesn’t occur is when SoS is against a server with no coverage at all.

Might I recommend Fort-Aspenwood?

Our North American presence is well established, and we have at least 1 60 man zerg moving across borderlands the entire day. Our oceanics however, are quite hit or miss because some nights it’s uA’s guild missions and sometimes AVTR takes a night off. However, with the leader of our largest oceanic guild by far coming back from a 2 month hiatus, our oceanic presence does outmatch Sea of Sorrow’s by a large mile. When the matchups were TC/DB/FA, our oceanic was by far our most consistent timezone.

Our SEA is indeed one of our weaker timeslots, but not by alot. With DPS coming in a few months back, our SEA presence has increased phenomenally and we can hold our own during SEA primetime against the likes of DB, provided we have another server with similar SEA coverage to us (ex. TC). Our SEA community is still growing, with militia commanders stepping up so DPS doesn’t need to turtle our BL so much anymore.

Admittedly, I don’t think we actually have 1 fully fledged european guild, but with school out, we have a commander from [RET] running WxP trains all day covering for our European presence. However, since any other server that’s not TC or T1 doesn’t have much of an European presence anyway, this isn’t a problem.

Lastly, we queue 2 maps on average (EB + a BL) and maybe 3 on good nights. We always have 1 empty borderland that needs an organized force on it. We also have a community Ts3. Hope you choose Fort Aspenwood as your new home, we could really use you when we get into tough matches later on.

Edit : If Fort Aspenwood is not your target destination, may I recommend SoS, JQ or TC? Honestly, I would say DB, but a lot of their “old guard” has left because of newer transfers and they may implode like what happened to kaineng

Three weeks ago you played against SoR once and came second by 120000 points and I don’t reckon they were out there in full force. As far as i can see it is the only time you played against a current “T1” server.

While I feel for you guys, I think you are a bit stuck at the moment. Just don’t talk yourselves up too much – other servers have done that in the past and it ended badly.

There are zergs, but not to the extreme as I saw on NA (well except for Jade Sea, lol man there are an awful lot of french who play GW2). More open-field fights at multiple points on the map by separate guild pushes, less focus on meta/ppt, and not as much siege (which, as you know, gives me the twitchies, cos I have this odd siege addiction issue — I really went to EU to deal with it cold turkey, lol).

I freaked out for a bit because my second week there I had massive lag, literally unplayable, so I thought it was an issue of someone from NA playing on EU, and was grousing to myself over “what did I do?!!” I found out it was an Anet issue and not just EU players were experiencing it. Relief. Next week was normal .. in fact in some cases it was better, simply because you’d get 100+ zergs on the map and I could actually still use all my skills. I assume this was the same on NA? That lag has improved?

I don’t get much lag anymore except for the massive fights inside SM but other than that not really much lag for me. However, I know some others still have some issues

Just wanted to clarify some things regarding TC, no we do not have a massive ‘warchest’ and we do not consistently buy guilds. We convince them to choose us for many reasons other than transfer assistance. Do we help guilds who have decided to transfer to us? Certainly we do because we understand how important it is for the transfer process to be immediate for the health of their guild and playerbase.

The gold that goes into helping guilds transfers is completely voluntary and community driven effort and often we are unable to even cover 5-10% of the total gold that is required for the guild to transfer. So in the end they do pay for most of it out of their own pocket.

People come to us because we are very straightforward and honest with our recruitment. We give intelligent responses to their questions and have a back and forth conversation that builds rapport with the guild that is interested, we dont just try to drown them in facts and figures, we use extensive examples in most of our answers. All in all we are just better at conversing in those meetings.

Some of the reasons guilds have chosen us are things like

- Community
- Stability
- Maturity
- Cooperative environment
- Attention to PPT/Meta
- Focus on training and growth on a weekly basis
- Pro-militia

But most of all we listen to the motivations of the guild interested in transferring and address those motivations and any concerns they have as honestly as possible. Also we have said NO to a LOT OF GUILDS because we believed they were not needed (NA) or woudn’t fit the TC environment (history of bandwagoning etc).

Another point since you piped in here Gismor, I know for a fact you want to make a difference on CD, it’s obvious and you’ve made it a goal. Know this though Gismor, we are not from where you came from, we’re not all like you and yours and what you’re trying to build. We don’t all want to be on TS3, some don’t want to hear a kitten thing beyond game sounds. Know this though, CD folks do watch keeps, do watch towers, do run dolyaks. CD folks may be “weak underdogs” because of our lower “tier”, but we do refresh siege and set it as we can, and people do sit like kittenes, or dedicated folks to a stupid game, at towers and keeps like any other server.

Basically the north inner gate of red keep is bugged in EBG. When attacking it in close range, you can get teleported in. At least thats how I think it works since I’ve only seen people right in front of it get teleported in.

Yea that is usually what happens.. If it happens to me, I usually give a /bow and let them kill me or hop over the wall.

After sorting through the whining and QQing by the various forum warriors, whomever is blue this week will likely experience what SoR did all last week with Yaks NOT going to SMC/QL and Durios.

There’s a bug preventing them from traveling there more than once after the supply camp flipping (Anet knows about it, but has done nothing at all). SoR would’ve still lost last week despite this, but I think the point spread would’ve been a little closer had things not been bugged.

As of this writing, I don’t know if the bug has been fixed.

On the topic of FoE moving, FoE is no longer active in GW2. We have a few members (5-10) that still play and fly the FoE tag, they have decided to move to JQ and play along side our GW2 Sister Guild and FaGG Alliance member AGG. We thought about joining and running with guilds on SoS, we did that for 2 resets and found that our style is not like any other guild on SoS so we moved to a guild that runs more like us.

With 5-10 people, I honestly didn’t feel like making any announcement was needed and would be pointless to attract attention to use for 10 people who just want to fight people.

Normally I stay off the forums, but I feel like I had to speak up here.

PYRO: If we would have known that it was a “tradition” for you guys to kill everyone after, we wouldn’t have gone down so easily. I had just left channel to go to the TDS channel and participate in the next GvG, Daeronz needed another person since one of his left. As for attacking the Dolyak, I told all my guys and gals to put on town clothes after the yak wakitten, so as not to cause any trouble, so I hope you enjoyed the free kills, I know we enjoyed wiping you and your Omega at Hills later, after you wiped us of course. EK isn’t afraid to go balls deep, and take on 2:1 or 3:1 or even 4:1, we happily do it, and sometimes we win, sometimes we don’t.

Before you Mag forum trolls go on about “EK uses open field carts QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ,” yes, I did build one, but once it was built, I pulled all EK off of it, I didn’t notice Daeronz having as many as he did, so we got off the cart. I can’t control the pugs, and once they see a cart, they get on that kitten, so don’t go and say EK uses open field carts, we only do that if we are outnumbered 2:1 or 3:1 or 4:1, and at the time, we did have equal numbers, which is why I didn’t have anyone use it. Besides, I’ve seen Mag guys use carts to take out my guys, when it was 40+ vs 20 in a tower (we owned the tower), so don’t even accuse EK of doing it. I think all that fought EK last night knows what we can do. I went 3 hours without going down once, and we wiped Yak’s Bend everytime we saw them last night, and they easily had 30+, 40+, something like that.

If anyone has any problems with EK, you bring them to me, otherwise, you forum trolls can stfu, and let the real people in WvW do the talking.
