Agreed, I’ve had my ISP over at my house to check my connection and been assured there are no issues. They also say in their logs at no point has my Internet stopped working. I have never and have never dced from any dungeon aside from fractals. And yet somehow I’ve never finished 3 in a row without someone or myself dcing. Meanwhile my connection remains with full bars. I believe something else might be the problem because I’ve only disconnected one time outside the fractals and that was during list shore event when my client crashed.

I have never done fractals without a dcing party member or dcing myself. :/ I hate it must be bad luck although I don’t think so when I hear how many others have same problems.

Ya the Jp monthly was stupid, I for one love the puzzles but I know a lot don’t. Don’t force people to do them or waste there time discovering them. As bad as the fractals one. I have yet to complete a fractals without a doing party member.

I love the idea of spears specially 1h. I bought a spear on tp first week only to realize it was only underwater

Thanks for the reply, I can confirm I never had the problem a couple months ago, where I can remember playing with no problems with the friends list open. It doesn’t make a difference switching between graphics setting

I’ve just recently noticed that my fps is dramatically lowered with the friends list opened. I’ve got no problems with frame rate anywhere else in the game. My laptop cost over 2 grand and is able to handle the largest wvw battles on nearly the highest graphics and never slows. Ive googled old threads of others who have had same issue. Everyone has said that it is an issue on the players end but my question, and maybe anet or others can answer this for me. Is why are the frame rate issues only when my guild or friends tabs are open and never during a time when fps issues are normally a concern like highly populated an highly animated instances such as epic wvw or group events like vlaw of jormmag

I have progressed some achievement paths extremely because that’s how I play the game. I will not tolerate having those reset or taken away at all. Go ahead and not let me claim rewards for those extreme paths completely but if I lose points I will quit. Sorry to say

if just done 15 puzzles, and only 10 showed up on my achievements. they must be bugged i have completion for every puzzle but 2 of the wvw ones. please fix this it is expencive or time consuming to travel the whole world for this monthly achievement.

I disagree. Wintersday was a lot of fun and well done. Op has a bad case of entitlement and the fact is that there’s a f2p game that doesn’t need to add monthly events and content but still pay a team to design it anyways. Your argument was made well, but you still come off as feeling you deserved the wintersday you would want. Of the millions of players only 500-1000 if that posted discontent like yourself. Most are thankful for the holiday content.

People are already figuring it out. Who cares if you play with randoms it’s a social game meet and game with new people. I think it’s great. Rarely does the game FORCE you to work together with randoms, but it’s not the en of the world. That’s tomorrow remember.

I for one do not like one time events. I thought the wintersday content much better because I had time to work on it and experience it. Instead of the lost shores event I had to miss. And the Halloween content. OP you are thinking a out yourself. it’s one time event because it will be gone after wintersday. Let EVERYONE get a chance to play, and let anyone redo it if they had fun and want to redo it or farm it. I haven’t even gotten a chance to do toypocalypse and may not till tomorrow. You are selfish if you believe I dot deserve to play it because it should run a couple times and only those without a job confliction, health conditions, family priorities or whatever get a chance. I for one think wintersday is major success compared to the so called one time events we’ve seen so far. I hope all updates and events follow this trend

Ya op I don’t agree at all. I find plenty enough people in low lvl zones unless its really late or early and people are sleeping. And there are hearts, map completion, dungeons, and crafting. Oh and what about personal story? Half a lvl worth of xp per mission.getting a character to 80 is easy. Buy some food to assist you and speed up if you want to. some events are easy and some require more people. Some event need to be done only by skilled players or large groups. It’s not forcing you to solo. Some days more people are in other zones specially with holiday events up it draws people away from lacking their alts.

Just wanted to say I’ve enjoyed the wintersday events and activities. Still working on the puzzle but I get so close every time. As long as there are no one time events. And thank you for giving us all holidays to get the achievements. Good job much better than Halloween an lost shores. Looks like you’ve been listening

Gw1 was a gem because everyone had same stats and you pinged your builds to show your viability for a given dungeon or situation. however if you had a garbage build, an dint have the skills to put together something the group was okay with you wouldn’t be coming along sadly. So with the decision to make tiers of gear from rare, exotic, ascended, and legendary they have sort of brought it on themselves. We can’t see if someone’s build is viable, ad we can’t see if they have proper gear on. It’s a gamble that usually ends as often as it doesn’t in failure because a bunch of ransoms are thrown into a dungeon.

I’m not meaning to discriminate, but I have 2 head to toe exotic sets including trinkets ect. I notice a difference between the two, albeit minor compared to skill levels ill admit. I wouldn’t mind an alteration in the way mf works but at the moment others will contribute more to killing mobs while the mf players who sacrifice a dominant stat on every piece of hear as well as tunes and sigils make more gold and loot. I don’t see that as fair. I don’t really care what happens thought I’d voice my opinion and see what others felt. The dungeons themselves need some kind of reworking in a number of ways anyways. Thanks for the feedback though I realize what I said might not be the solution at all :/

Mostly because people using complete magic find gear in a dungeon, or lvl 80 players still on blue lvl 70 gear makes dungeons more difficult, and some people want every player in the instance up to a certain standard. Magic find gear has no place in dungeons and difficult instances. Ontop of the obvious feature, people could inspect and show off their exotics and stats.

I’m still waiting… My ticket has not been answered by anything more than a generic automated response. they are saying the comphesation was for people who only dced during event like me but I have guildies, more than one that did not even show up that got the chest. Didn’t even know what it was for. I at least would like to be responded to in a decent time frame and not a generic copy paste msg.

I never received a chest, and I got a DC. Upset, my support ticket says I didn’t qualify? My guild mates who didn’t even attend, didn’t even log on for weeks after the fact got cheats. How did you even decide who gets one?

Just wanted to say anet I love your game. Some things need work and some need lots. I will continue to enjoy playing an trust you’ll smooth everything out in due time I know I’ve made a few stinks but overall good job and thanks for keeping it free while you maintain a staff of content developers and bug fixers.

I still want to add that I love guild wars 2, just constructively wanted to see if I was the only one that didn’t need massive monthly content updates, if there was an option of concentrating on fixing and possibly redesigning certain aspects of the game. I’m certain the player base is diligent in reporting bugs, so anet know what is in new of fixes. And is there anyone that can explain why patches designed to fix certain things end up bugging something else like an event or dungeon? But all in all gw2 is a million times smoother than say diablo 3 when blizzard released a beta product to us. An ill never forget the 2 weeks of backwards flying dragons on sky rim after their patching.

I for one am not impressed with the adding of fractals when the other dungeons are in need of work. Some are just horribly not fun. And now we have fractals, what a mess when you lose hours of hard gaming only to have a member dc. and then you decide to make a bugged dungeon part of the monthly?

Enough said, I believe that people don’t care as much about, nor need all these content updates that only require fixes themselves while older content remains unbalanced or bugged still. Please consider switching your focus fr all your updates. I know you have teams working on both, but the fixes are just not fast enough and support is simply too slow and for weeks you get automated responses that clearly give the impression noone has even read your ticket yet. Just my two cents.

was dced just after the second wave of reinforcements were defeated so 2 hours in. and havnt been able to connect back to the servers. bad enough hearing about the chest i missed but come on the game is still unplayable?

never been more unhappy with a video game in my life. people for exotics and 20 slots? i got a DC!

Please ANet stop these one time events! its not fair to people who work or have school and cant make it. i miss the entire thing and am really upset. i will be even more upset if there are achievements that you get for the one time events. but listen to your players and stop this stupid one time events or very limited time content. give people who cant plan their lives around a game, a chance to experience updates and content like this.

absolutly not fun when you realize that you cannot see your character due to 10 others in the instance. everyone picks bigger and bigger characters to be seen over the others leaving humans and asuran to fail hard. you pray that everyone just fails and the sense of players helping players is erased from pure rage that anet would make this stupid thing. you can clearly see the people who paid anet for boosters have an advantage too and the poor people cant afford them. this is a liomited time event and we have to choose between getting this jump or complting other event stuff? i dont have as much time as you may have so im punished… thanks anet. you failed

not fun, AT ALL. why can and i have a seperate instance? i need huge chars and norns in the way i basically need to guy your gems to get boosters to complete? i know i could do it if i could SEE my CHARACTER!!! you failed anet im disapointed
