Vine tooth is a real issue. I have tried it 40 times over a week now as I need it for never more. All horrible fails. I have every akill on my utility hard or soft cc. Bring a class with stuns and dazes. I start from the beginning of east events and explain the whole time how to do vine tooth. By the time the events end there’s a bunch of people and we can’t break the bar. Ever. Not even 25%. This is an issue. I would love a chance to fight if with 5 players. But I never get the chance you need like 10 to do the first event with the vinetenders and more just keep showing auto attacking and ruining it. 40 times this is not fun please accept anet people are terrible players don’t make fights with huge breakbars and a 5 second window that includes the time he runs across the room. this is not fun.

is gathering the essences and trying for as many tickets and as far as i can get gonna matter if i wont have the chance to get enough tickets or cross enough divisions in a single season? i know that it will be available some other way but is it a waste getting the stuff from vendor and making as far as i can? just invested 25 hours to get to ruby and get close as ill probably get this season specially with time gated dailys. wondering is i should give up on backpiece and if ive wasted time?

please fix, launcher freezes still. been 3 days.

okay this is alittle ridiculous now. still freezesjust doesnt show the error msg for the coherant ui thing like before. am i really not playing for the third day ina row? gonna go outside then. kinda messed up how i cant even log in when most my guild is. alittle update wouldnt hurt on the progress anet.

same issue, im not good with computers i dont understand the work around solutions suggested is that what im gonna need to do to play the game or will this get resolved and i can instal update normally soon?

They will change it im sure and blame it on a bug but dcome on theres no way this was overlooked, or not intended. they really think we want this kind of content. kitten your festivals to hell anet we want to fight the dragons, and dothings that matters. what ridiculous world would celebrate with so many stupid festivals instead of saving the world. i am so close to giving up on hoping anet figures it out because its been over a year and im at my wits end. if there is another festival im done!!!!!

less, i dont like the LS and i was enjoying pvp and zerk speed running dungeons. 8 zerk chars nerfed, pvp and pve basically merged and have to swap pvp weps back to pve when i wanna do one or the other. i hate the wardrobe system, new traiting, and the nerf to none lvl 80s. i am probably the minority but this change was bad for me and pushed me far away.

i dont know what todo now, i may be movin on this patch was too much. well many love the changes i do not. pvp and pve almost merged, redoing builds and traits, world boss timer changes, the wardrobe, zerk nerf, dungeons way to kitten easy now. and not that it affects me i dont agree with how they making it harder for new players to lvl to 80. :/ just me though anet cant please everyone. im just sad and venting on forums.

this changes nothing, zerker is still the most dps. and as it makes you the squishiest it requires the most skill in evades and other survivability skills that bunker ptv or condition builds use. ive nothing against people using condi builds or ptv builds but they have to realize that those defencive stats mean they are less effective or reliant on lerning important telegraphs or dodge mechanics. this will not quell the speed run groups who want to finish paths as fast as possible and what everyone calls “elitism” because they want to have all zerkers in their group. why should anyone care its my right as a zerker speed run dungeoneer to want other zerkers if i dont feel like whacking away at a boss for 10 minutes. and people arnt gonna stop making the zerker only groups and asking to ping gear. its a legitimate request for some people that dont want to spend 45 mins- and hour per path. i do alot of dungeons where i take anyone as long as your 80. and i even teach dungeons and fractals to many first timers. but i believe it is my god kitten ed right to do a full zerk speed run sometimes and not be called an elitist because i ask for a gear check. i dont want to bleed a boss down, or tank a boss that cant kill me but takes 5 minutes. i want him dead, i spend alot of time learning the telegrapghs that are insanly hard to see thru the kitten show of effects and ive learned the timing which took practice also. ive memorized the paths and how to speed run and watched all the guides beforehand. and i deserve to speed run with FULL dps groups if i want to. im very upset my dps is reduced so dramatically, much more than 10% for sure. but it doesnt change anything zerker does more dmg and “elitists” will not be curbed.

needs reworking of mechanics. maybe not a nerf but something isnt right and its not fun.except for the servers LUCKY enough to have completed it. i say lucky because they were lucky enough not to have a turret troll or a idiot on the turret doing the wrong thing. lucky enough not to be stuck in overflow, lucky enough not to have a dozen afkers, and klucky enough to have players that WP and run back. you can say lkuck wasnt involved but i dont believe thats entirely true. i HAVNT been lucky enough to make it out of a kitten overflow for kittens sake and i have tried for days.

I havnt been able to get out of an overflow for days. they are always a sea of dead screaming res me res me. the turrets know that they have important job and still kitten around while afkers stand there and ruin it for everyone. this isnt right. im happy for those that beat him. but the majority are not gonna get a chance to be a part of an organized effort because they cant even get into there home server map. ontop of that it wont be long till the event is abandoned because lets face it the rewards are terrible for such an effort(not the fight, the organization and the waiting for hours upon hours tomake it into a main server which i still havnt been able to do.) there is no way to reprimand trolls, afkers, bad turret operators or the people that just lay there dead and wont re run the 50 second run back. does anyone else see a problem with this? it isnt meant for open world because you cannot control people, some servers have gotten it and im happy for them but you would think that id at least of gotten into my main server map once in the l;ast days. this is my opinion. the elitite players that have beaten him and crying for no nerf let me have it i know its coming.i dont think its needs a nerf but some mechanics need rethinking. this should of been an instance, or there should be anti afk measures. i wanna do this before it becomes a ghost town and noone does it anymore. within a week or two be lucky to get 80 players, and if one isnt doing the right thing we fail. i havnt had any fun and im stateing my disapointment. i have every right to.

i havent been abkle to get out of overflow yet

this needs either a nerf or a re design. not meant for open world its just terrible. most people will never get a chance to accually have a serrious go because they cannever get out of overflows. this is horrible and not fun and for those that have done it good foryou but understand not everyone even gets the chance. some people arnt LUCKY enough to be in a map without turret trolls or afkers

never been able to get into main server map for days now trying allday. overflolws have no chance they are just fields of dead and trolls on turrets. this is a terrible event for open world something needs to be donenot everyobne can coordinate 80 people, theres no way to reprimand people for not doing the right thing or akitteng and its not fun at all to waste hours losing with no chance of winning

Well said, I like that they do living story in the first place. Sometimes it’s better than others but they are still figuring out what works with gw2 and what isn’t and they gotta spend some time trying new things. at least they continue to learn from past mistakes. the forums are the minority of player base and if you don’t believe that you are naive. The vast majority is out there playing the game.

quit complaining. Above poster is right, second patch isn’t the content. although I do think they go overboard with the kittenen achievements.

is it not? I disagree. Zerging requires skill, formation, working together, communication, and a commander that is respected and talented in what he does. it’s like how people complain about wp costs that are almost nothing. just do an event or kill a vet or two and you’ve made your costs.

Repair costs are basically nothing and its incentive to not die and to work as a team. You make your repairs in a single event

I like living story, but its getting out of hand. 250 AP every 2 weeks. I feel forces to try and get everything I absolutely hate deadlines and content that takes less skilled players a lot longer. I love what they are doing but I would rather a expansion by far than a year of living story. and if living story is what they wanna do then ease up every two weeks is too much work, I barely have time to do anything else because I’m struggling to get the living story stuff done on time. Just my thoughts. All in all I like what they are trying to do. kitten would I rather a story building up to a dragon though even if it was a year or more build up. Like forward bases, fighting lesser dragons and lieutenants ect.

I feel the norn forms are not even viable compared to signet of rage and you are laughed at if you do use anything else. and I have all elites and not one for ele works under water. is there reasoning behind making the elite forms underpowered with huge cd and elementalists with no underwater elite skill?

I wanna use a pole arm or spear with my warrior! Please consider it in the future anet. If you plan to add new weapons that is.

people naturally get burnt out after long periods of the same game and then come back. gw is awesome, and anet has shown they are listeneing to their playerbase and learning from mistakes. they are also working really hard to keep working on the game and making it better. best of all its free! you can always come back to it and many will. i have friends who left because of the very buggy launch once they got to cursed shore but they are returning and loving it. after finally mastering dungeons and getting the title i love running any and all paths now and especially helping others learn to master them too

Legendarys should stay the same just because its gonna take most people years to get doesn’t mean it needs to be changed who cares if you have a legendary already you clearly have no life no offence or you were lucky. As it is now there are only 1
Skin of each and if everyone had one they wouldn’t be legendary that’s for sure. Who cares about legendary weapons being easier to get they in no way represent skill level heck a rich person could almost purchase one with their credit card flat out. I laugh at anyone with a legendary already and at anyone crying that they art easy to obtain.

I agree with OP I still am in love with this game and its future prospects. It is amazing and me and my friends still have a blast playing all the dungeons and wvw. I enjoy doing dailys as well and working on my dodge rolls as well as learning the tricks to the dungeons. Thanks anet but on a side note please fix the achievements :p

So we don’t have to redo them all right? This is terrible how does this happen over and over again. Please fix it all and set it right and specifically clarify what will happen and when you will fix the mistake it’s very disheartening to k ow how progress and achievements arnt safe anymore.

seems gw2 is broken atm :/ they are gonna have another mass of angry players demanding their lost laurels and achievement points, pumpkin carver progress, wasted time to be comphesated >< i just wish they could test things longer or better and avoid massive problems like these. anyone know if player who finished monthly after the update recieved their laurels? if so that is outrageously unfair to those who got it done yesterday or earlier.

Agreed I have 3 sets and have to switch traits and manually switch gear for dog situations. I also get how I need to open the hero tab and manually drag that last ring and earring to replace the others cuz simply clicking on the ring doesn’t work. I

I agree but for different reasons, as the fractals are not fixed they shouldn’t be included. I’ve wasted countless hours dealing with dc’s whether myself or other players. Can’t seem to have the luck some have never experiencing this because of the 20 runs I’ve done I’ve never not had a DCing player.
