Some Chefs out there may have noticed that there is not a single recipe with fish in it. Nor do fish in the rivers, lakes, and oceans of Tyria drop fish meat. This was all done intentionally.

We aren’t going to have fishing on release and we may not even have it any time soon (initial expansions/Live updates), but there is a place for it when the time comes

I know a lot of the games have the fishing system. When i saw those fishers in game. I really want to do some fishing in game? Do you guys think they will make a system about it? and maybe add some fish as food?

I am an old guild wars player. I really like the idea of guild vs guild in the guild wars1. Is it going to happen in gw2?

The things you are complaining about are what makes gw2 a great game.

Griefing, pking, and drama are what ruins online games.

It may all sound good to you until you get griefed or pked in low level zones.

But, why didn’t they name this game “Zhaitan Wars”!!!!!!!!!
This is make no sense, at least make it “Guild Wars 2 – ch. Zhaitan”.
And my main question is, where is the guild wars?…

I suppose they should have thought it through when they named it, but it’s named for a historical event in game lore, not for actions you can take in game. There was a time in Tyrian history when guilds fought. A troubled time. NPC guilds, though.

Perhaps we should have a thread discussing what name might have made more sense for the franchise.

I think we have met the guy who griefs lowbies in the other 8 mmos, pvp’s undergeared people in the other 5. Sorry, Guild Wars 2 left the drama for the drama llama who has recently been moved to eastern Europe for treatment of strained work load.

You can GVG in WVW technically, just on a different server. You can sPVP against guild mates for practice. This game makes sure kittens like these don’t kitten everything the kitten up. So if you can’t handle the lack of lame drama from lesser MMO’s you will just have to move on. Because we are not kittening around here, this is srs bsns. For the kittens.

You know. GVG and WvW is different. Totally different idea. And i do think make WvW open all the time is stupid, somehow. I am not trying to say this game is really bad of something. I am still playing. Just want to see there the guild wars is. Like in GW1 CG said : “my father died in the guild wars.” I want to get the idea of that.

Nope, I don’t think this is the right game for you if that’s your attitude. It’s not a bad thing to want these features, but this game was not marketed that way and probably won’t change.

I mean, the name of this game is “Guildwars”. It is not making sense that guild cant not fight other guilds at least. we suppose to fight other guild, or people, instead fighting zhaitan!

More PvP modes and guild activities, we all want them as well (the last one coming soon! yay!)

I gotta agree about something, i really miss open world pvp, camping on leveling zones or stuff like that you could see in ‘that’ other game, oh god the low leveling pvp was just massively fun.
I know we have WvWvW, but thats not the same. But sadly this will never come, since we have no factions, unless we make all races enemies to each other, not like i wont be playing cause thats missing, but its a small empty void i felt while leveling.

yes, I mean, they are kind like on the right track. But I just want to see the guilds fight each other, where the guild wars is, the wars.
