Yes, and there has been a lot of evidence to indicate that it’s more than simply luck, that some accounts are simply more lucky than others in a more fundamental RNG code bug kind of way. Perhaps the account number is used to seed the RNG and it influences the outcome whether it be for good or bad.

I near had a heart attack last night. I had Imryldeen drop, my first named exotic in months, a fairly common one and not worth much, but it shares a skin, and icon, with The Legend. It was a huge let down. :/

This, grats on the precursor btw. I am more inclinded to believe certain accounts are flagged. Played since first BWE and have never seen a precursor, done it all, WVW, dungeons, world bosses, all of the living story, magic toliet, everything. I am at the point where the only thing left is working for a legendary, its just a little difficult when you are still waiting on the first piece. So I start saving my gold and just thought I would buy a precursor, but with the way the prices are going up, I cant make gold fast enough. Its just a tad frustrating when your in a dugeon run, and stop counting how many times this guardian changed his Legendaries. What am I doing wrong, I even threw cash at anet still no change.

Don’t get too excited, most sub games now have gameshops. At least, it is totally cosmetic here instead of a mount doubling your movement speed.

Also, nothing is confirmed regarding the charges. They will toally be collectable in-game. How hard though, is a question we gonna find.

Really, because WOW implemented this feature almost two years ago, for free thru a subscription. This system should have been in place since day one.

And yet you can get Transmutation Charges by doing simple things like dailies, or map exploration or, as you might not know this, buy them with gold. It’s not like charges are hard to come by.

OP is correct, been playing since first beta weekend. respawn timers are broken and have been for over a year. Its too easy because the game is focused around zergs. The only difficultly is because of Anet broken systems, ie repawn timers.

Well I’m back from picketing walmarts decision to move the twinkes back 2 aisles annnnnddd it went nothing like I thought would happen. I thought I’d be get support from thousands as we marched onto Walmart to face this oppression and chant proudly " no we will not walk 2 more aisles to get twinkes, that is a pure cash grab" to be honest I was a bit fearful that I’d start a riot.

Instead I got a little support from a few heavyset people that wanted access to the twinkes to be at the doorway, but they quickly tired out. The most common response was it only 2 isles it’s not that bad. I told them in a sneering manner it’s not the point it’s the principle of the matter. You let them get away with this, then the next thing you know the milk will be moved 2 isles.

One man even had the audacity to say that the gas station across the street has the twinkes directly in front of the door. I shut him down quickly by saying the two left turns adds 7 seconds to the trip. Do you know how badly that would just wreck my schedule ??? That’s about a minute of my day just wasted.

Had they removed services everywhere, then it’d be a valid complaint. They are not so this really is just a silly jab.

You would of prolly had better results if you were just to ask to have crafting benches and skill trainers put into the vigil keep

I really like the option of depositing all of my collectibles from my bag with the click of a button, but there are some I would like to keep, i.e.: crystals, spores. I was thinking maybe there was a way you could add a lock function to some of the bag slots, so I could still use the cool option of deposit all.

Me and another 2 guys just got booted at the fourth fractal by the other 2, both from the same guild. That problem can and should be attenuated by making it necessary at least a third vote for booting someone out.

Getting the system changed to three people needed won’t solve all the problems like people think it will. If players can find a way to grief, they always will and no system ever created will change that. I do agree it should be a majority vote, but people need to stop acting like this will solve all the kicking problems.

I have no idea what situation you were in, but games where you team up with other players are not “play how you want” games. If you are in a party trying to accomplish a certain goal and it can be done faster/better by changing what you are doing or changing what you are doing would be a help to the team, why would you not do that?

Should I join a group and run around killing random mobs and not helping the team because that’s how I want to play? If you want to play how you want, do content solo.

The dungeon pve community of so-called elitists don’t going around reporting people for champ train farming. We don’t go out of our way to troll the champ trains, or whatever other casual content farm there is.

The anti-selling crowd maliciously plans and inflicts harm on the dungeon sellers in game. There is no opposite equivalent in the other direction, dungeon crowd maliciously griefing the casual scene, which is what my example showed. Your post where you switched the words around created a false equivalence as if the two positions were equally malignant. That is not correct.

Your being a tad dramatic, how does anyone maliciously affect your time in GW2, I was simply pointing out the argument could go the other way. (Ie isn’t the casual vs. hardcore argument getting old?) Are we not just gamming enthusiasts with different opinions?

All I was trying to say is how is this a casual vs hardcore debate, either you agree with selling paths or you don’t.

And as a self-proclaimed hardcore, would you ever buy a path that was too hard? But its ok to sell them to the casuals, isnt that somewhat hypocritical.

If only. What GW2 community has, unlike any I have ever seen, is a bunch of “casuals” hardcores who are aggressively anti-hardcore casual. For some reason, inexplicably, there is a subset of casuals hardcore who are greatly angered by what harcore casual players do with their time, regardless of whether it has any effect on them at all. What results from that are people who are so aggressively casual Hardcore, they go out of their way to grief people selling buying paths, or down vote reddit threads for speed runs not skipping, or dislike youtube videos for “zerker builds” “conditional builds”, or any number of things like that.

The fact that they go out of their way to aggressively grief/troll with people who aren’t bothering them at all simply because they disagree with their playstyle is what makes them “try-hards.”"too-cool" They have set themselves up as a fun police, and their definition of what is “fun” and what is “allowed” are aggressively enforced regardless of what Anet thinks of the matter.

You yourself are at an impasse. You are not happy with the concept of path selling, fair enough. What is your next step after this thread: will you just ignore it and go about enjoying the game, or will you join with the self-righteous crusaders and kill instances or file frivolous reports against path sellers? Hopefully you make a positive choice.

I buy dungeons paths everyday, I show up with a charismatic warrior in apprioate gear with a great attitude bought with my TIME, if thats not payment enough for a video game then I find a new group.

Ignoring this problem is not a solution Anet. Even if you have a fix in a planned update it would be nice to know, I would hate to move on to find out you had a fix all along, there are plenty of other games in the sea without an error 7 message. But really the lack of any response is just unaccectable. Someone told me you were a respectable gaming company who took peoples money, Act Like One.

Same problem, started happening right after the latest patch (ie The Tower one). I have tried it all, running the repair, updated drivers, even reinstalled the game. No change. The only thing that seems to help is if I turn my graphics all the way down to low. (Anet, this is not a fix, it is a giant band aid) Someone, Anyone, Please help I’ve lagged and cant play)

I don’t believe sticking a monetary value to the items is what I am looking for. I was one of the DC victims. The 20 slot bag, and a chest or bag with the same RNG from the same loot table would be sufficient.

I dont need a one time event to be nice with the community or other players, I do that every time I log on. I understand RNG’s thats why I downed Sindragosa 20+ times for one shield, I never complained to the other unamed company. I also liked the clock tower, and I never completed it. And I didnt blame a Norn or Charr for not completing it. So thanks for your thoughts. I think you admitting you exploited the event tells me everything I need to know.

I have played MMO’s for 8+ years, this is the first time I have ever complained (on forums). Handing out 20 slot bags & some people reporting 2 precursors is not something you can get everywhere else, just the rune alone for that bag is 10g’s. So your opening statement is full of fail.

I showed up for all three events, spent coutless time and in-game resources to travel around to find all events broken, bugged, or a lag fest.

Still stuck around having faith in this game, 2hrs 45 mins of a wipe fest, still there, dc’d at the last of the explosives, logged back in to some random overflow, to find out i just missed the chest, with everyone linking exoctics, rares, & precursors. I am pissed. So again explain to me why I should not complain. This should be interesting.
