Collectively, the opinions most people draw from your server is that you are all cheaters. This is not the first time your zerg just happened to be ready to attack a garrison, and somehow fortify walls gets popped.

Every time there is a large group of DB, they somehow shoot arrowcarts all the way into the lords room from outside the inner gate…. Last time I checked you have to be able to see where you are shooting.

Im not saying ALL of you are in on it, obviously not. But generally, your server goes to great lengths to manipulate the game, even with superior numbers oceanic hours.

shatter isnt meta anymore… very condi weak for sure, but it still can be very strong if you play kinda like a thief; burst quick run out of battle, repeat.

Yes, even if you dont play guild wars 2, you can still sign up to test it. because every1s opinion matters… not just the players who play and enjoy the game. hey, why not let people who live on the streets of NYC sign up to test!!! Im sure they will be interested and have good feedback.

This is an example of why this games developers grind my gears. They have a dream job, yet still approach it with sarcasm and childs play.

I applaud your thoughts and ideas. However… I hate to break it to you, but Anet wont come close to your suggestions for a long time…. I mean, I highly doubt they will fade from the PPT mechanic.

WvW is their main attraction, and things are going great for them…. they are making sooooooo much money from MMO players who enjoy the somewhat mindless run from capture to capture and big flashy fights.

Save your ideas, though! If you plan on being loyal to this game for years to come (and, Im talkin 4-5 years), maybe they could take a few of your bullets when they inevitably start reworking the game when population starts to diminish.

Right now though, they are playing conservative. Think of every patch as a filibuster, and Anet are the Republicans.

as an Ebay player, Im not frustrated about this week. We had a hell of a last 2 weeks in leagues, so just take this week with a grain of salt, Ebayers. We will come back strong soon enough

With the buff on confounding suggestions (added 25% increased daze duration to go long with 50% chance to stun on daze) I tried it out in a similar build to what you posted. I wanted to see if it stacked with the mesmer runes #6, additional 33% daze duration…. however, it did not a 3.3 second daze with chance to stun on magic bullet would be sweet! But maybe a bit overpowered…

I still think your build there is very viable, the only setback is you dont have Deceptive Evasion which is a nice crutch for shatter.

Hotjoin is its own separate game mode/zone/community/place/planet

to remove downed state, they would also have to remove traits and utilities that involve the downed state. so it would be a big project for Anet to do this.

its based off points scored, not rank points. its not a bug or anything, its just a stupid setup.

I just wanna make this thread to say that Im addicted to guild wars pretty badly, and openly admit that. Im not new to getting trolled, or trolling others for that matter. I understand hate towards mesmer because of clones and how much an advantage that aspect gives them. But if you think Im just a cheesy mesmer, let me explain what I have been running in all forms of pvp, for about 10 months now.

basic shatter build 20/20/0/0/30 main focus being to rupt skills for more damage, and plenty crit damage to go along with fury on phantasms and increased chance crit on mind wrack. I use GS, sword/pistol.

My utilities are Arcane Thievery, Blink, and Portal. I use Mass invis mostly, as my elite.

I wanna see some of you pro mesmers out there try running arcane thievery and then call me a cheesy mesmer, when 80% of mesmers are running decoy, veil, blink, and mass invis with buffs on stealth.

Im just tired of all the unconditional hate… can we please all just cool out? I wanna play at least 2 matches of hotjoin or tournies without someone hate mailing me. The only thing thats gonna happen is I send all your condis back to you in a 1v1, you die and get mad calling me a cheesy mesmer. Also, portaling out from a 3v1 to backcap is a good play, ask the best mesmer themself, Legend Supcutie.

I will give praise to Anet if they surprise me this patch and buff it. Im not relying on it tho, with the trait changes that are coming, I plan on traiting for 20% reduced cooldown on manipulations (36s for Arcane Thievery and 24s for Blink).

And I cant wait to see how mesmer changes.

I have a defensive thief. I don’t kill people too often, 1v1, but I can sure get a couple of enemy team members tying themselves in knots trying to kill me. If I keep that up throughout a match, it means a 4v3 for my team for the other parts of tha map. Seems pretty legit strategy to me.

I see no problem with a thief playing that kind of build. Heck, the best thieves play that way. The problem is, you said it yourself you dont kill people 1v1 often. If someone gets caught against a Pu/condi mes alone, the odds are against them.

I think there is potential to create more depth as far as multiple balanced builds for each class. Right now, Anet is working to find a meta that we (mostly) all enjoy. I think it will become clear when eles get their new grandmaster trait making them immune to conditions when above 90% health. We will see a spike in eles, thats for sure.

But be sure to note that you have to give it a couple months after the patch to determine exactly which direction the meta is heading. Im sure there will be some unfair solo queues on their way based purely on team comp. But you have the power to change that by hopping on a class thats better fit to handle a mostly condition immune ele.

If youre a condi build whos against some eles, be sure to stick by dps builds who can get them below the threshold, then time your condis well. yes, maybe condi classes will require some skill!! We’ll find out soon

Pu/condi is everything that is wrong with mesmer. Add full lyssa runes to that equation and you get a distraction mesmer that you CAN kill, you just have to catch em on cooldown.

Ebay did it alone. There was no alliance, this was all made up by SBI players who were angry that 1 night it seemed like EB and Yaks were working together.

So, you want it completely deleted… because 1 map out of 7 you can get knocked off…. well idk if you played any other part of this game, like in wvw where people can kick u off Hills to your death. you want them to delete that keep too? Its a part of this game, a small part. they took it out of team tournies, which I thought was good. I could care less if they removed it from solo q as well, but to completely delete a map…. after all the QQ about how we need more maps….

personally, I like playing skyhammer after 6 maps of the same kinda fightin, it switches up the battle a bit, whether in my favor or not.

Also, if youre running a build or class with no knockback/mass stability, why not just fight on point B… or gank on the road, if its REALLY that bad getting knocked off. There is nothing stopping you, except yourself.

I will defend skyhammer to the death… some people run a build that just fits perfectly with the map, and do great. Others, run glassy builds with 0 sustain and get punished, sorry, its true ;/. But what is stopping everyone else from using the same tactics? are there monsters under your bed that come out and eat you if you use a mesmer with a focus on skyhammer? because that is some serious kitten, and you need to call the police.

Ark, I think youre just a little delusional. You should try getting into some WvW ‘skill zerg’…. I know how that sounds, but its actually pretty fun getting a large group of people coordinated, and properly using things like combo fields.

Yes, I understand anyone can walts into WvW and just group up with a bunch of people running the usual gimmicks, but a WvW skill zerg takes more coordination than just 5 people rotating capture points. This is why I could care less if they give finishers to people in WvW… some of them are actually good players! They just decided to go HAM in a different aspect of the game.
