You do realize that if Weapon kits got stats from weapons they would have to nerf the skills to be in line with normal weapons right?
What makes you so sure about that? Weapons in sPvP have no stats so it’s a non issue there. It should be fixed for PvE. Stop spouting rubbish.
Bomb kit auto attack does work, you just need to be in range.
Profession bundle weapons (engineer kits, elementalist conjure skills, warrior banners) can now save their autoattack status.

Grenadier used to reduce the cooldown of freeze grenade to 15 seconds. It said nothing about not being affected by the +1 grenade thing. It’s fine.
Also unrelated: mortar range is now 1500 with rifled barrels, doesn’t reflect it on the skill tooltip but the skills on the mortar do. Elite supplies still doesnt extend the range.

Nice, now if only elixir x was useful!
They might sort this out when kits get auto attack toggle, its really crappy for now though.
Arenanet, I need a clarification: What did you think you fixed with speedy kits?

Speedy kits always had a 5 sec cooldown though.. it’s really no different. The vigor thing is a nerf though.
You can get any weapon/armour/rune/sigil for free in the mists. Look around a bit and find the vendors. Note that amulets have the bulk of your stats.
I don’t like this map either purely because it has underwater combat, I notice servers tend to empty when it flips to this map also.
Smoke thingy #5 is good for stomping still, you can use it while casting and make your target miss their interrupt.
Edit: although in its current form, the flamethrower is more of a utility weapon than a damage dealer. Agree on the other changes.
If you use this with elixir S it is much more usable. Anet needs to make the skill cast 50% faster.
Note: not saying use it with S but as an example of how it could be fixed.
One of the devs themselves even agreed the dungeons are not rewarding enough, hopefully they come up with a solution to fix this.
Hi, just tried to do honor of the waves on explorable mode on the butcher path – the floor is not solid where the boss normally spawns and Ginva the Butcher is missing.
Please fix this.
They could have at least added a gap for the tails on skirted armour, it looks so bad with the clipping.
Not even mentioning helms.. /hide helm forever.

engineer thrown elixirs don’t work there either.
Blast finisher on the healing turret is super useful, plus who the hell uses any of the other turrets? they’re terrible.
I really like the shield abilities, they are so versatile with their dual usage. Pistol offhand is a bit lackluster right now due to glue shot being so slow, and the flame burst is hard to hit with.
It seems like all props on your character dissapear when emoting, weapons/shields/backpacks etc. Not just limited to the guild backpack.
take a break, maybe it will seem interesting in a week or two!
Can’t switch kits in the air, unlike every other class who can weapon swap while jumping or falling.
I’ve kind of gotten used to it, you can just spam 6(or whatever) for speedy kits which is nice. Wouldn’t mind if this was fixed though.
Flamethrower is really only useful for its 3/4/5 abilities.. which is kind of sad. More of a utility weapon than damage.
You can also hit them with grenades or any other ae really, it’s not limited to just the engineer skills. Not sure whether it’s intended!

Toolbelt skill for the healing turret is a water field. Also when the healing turret pulses (white ground ae) thats also a water field, so you can blow the turret up during that and get the ae heal too!

Have you guys tried jump shot with quickness? It’s unbelievable how much better this skill is with it, response time is far faster. Seems like an easy fix to make the ability much more usable.
Yeah but going melee using jumpshot with quickness is almost pure suicide unless it’s a 1v1. You have enough survivability issues in a rifle spec as it is without tossing up + 50% damage when you enter melee.
I didn’t mean use exlixir U with it, just that jump shot /can/ be fixed to be much more responsive – this can be seen by using quickness. It’s a really easy fix for the ability I think.
This annoys me alot, will it ever be fixed? Many of the medium coats have no gap or anything for the tail and it looks really silly.
Some of them have billowing skirts that look ridiculous. It’s honestly making me not want to farm any of the dungeon sets! (citadel of flame shaman coat pictured)
Agree, the risk on most of the explorable dungeons is much higher than the reward. For example, the trash in Arah explorable modes is horrible, and the giganticus lupicus fight is also very difficult.
Citadel of Flame explorable is the only one most people run because its fast & easy.
Cooldown is way too long on turrets for them to be useful IMO. Only one worth using is healing turret.

Weapon sigils working with kits is something that is going to be fixed.. eventually.
This is the case with 99% of non-player races in cutscenes, it looks a little silly!
the trait has been changed, read the tooltip.
theres a limit on the amount of loot you can get in a set time anyway, noticed this just doing other events in orr.
hi, this is to do with your pvp gear having the runes in – not really a bug but it can be confusing.
This is one of the problems with not posting patch notes really, I’d love to know if stuff like this was fixed.
Why is this? I’m sure they used to give karma.. whats the point in the heart vendors selling stuff for karma now then?
Perhaps they are for the skins? No idea really, the stats are lackluster for most people and the price is also rather ridiculous.
One thing that bugs me, it is not a bug, but it just looks sloppy.
Using the rifle results in you getting a hip shot, all of the abilities are hipshots it just looks unprofessional. While all of the other classes (at least most of them) get a nice aimed shot. I would love for the engineer to have an aimed shot. Even tried the ghostbore rifle, which gave me a nice aimed shot, and a rifle bash.
Play a warrior then, this is not a “things i dont like about the engineer” thread.

no.2 ability is very bad for this, if you’re moving or on a slope it will be obstructed 90% of the time.
Also, WTB auto attack setting save on kits.

Hi, I completed the monthly achievement for August but it has not reset for this month – it still says everything is complete.
Is this a visual bug or am I losing progress on September’s one?
