It’s amazing how one server has attracted so many terrible guilds. The only reason you’re winning right now is because of coverage and numbers, not skill. SBI does not have skill and will never have skill.

Edit: Oh remind me, how many guilds have xferred to SBI? And how many of you guys tried recruiting BP guilds to SBI?

Congratulations SBI, this is what BP says every time they get roflstomped by a server that people actually transfer to.

The SBI one didn’t reflect things either because their mass transfers weren’t finished until after the match started and the 3-holiday is kind to servers like BP.

I think a rematch would go much worse.

Well I do go past the guards to spy sometimes, but they chased me from south camp all the way past the torches that section where the defenders will start attacking.

So I made The Dreamer a while ago and never use it because I feel SB is a lesser choice with the ranger nerf and such. With the new legendary patch I want to be able to use it and feel decently decent kinda maybe able to maybe kill someone perhaps hopefully don’t die sometimes. Is there any decent build that uses the shortbow that can be used in WvW?

Almost had a WP up in SBI Hills until I made the stupid mistake of not having a scout. You 52525252525252 thieves sure can be annoying and a real diversion. Keep up the good work.

IAmTheDuke still refuses to duel me. I think he’s a bit scared.

I tried it out today in PvE and PvP. When I press f2 there should be a buff given to me like thieves get when using their venom elite. The timer goes right on cooldown and nothing happens. No stun, no immobilize (wiki says it’s bugged to immobilize instead of stun), no nothing. I really wanted to try out the pet specifically for the f2 stun as it would greatly help me out, but alas it does not work t my knowledge.

I’ve been noticing after auto attacking with my axe and then using Stalker’s Strike, that I just sat there for a while before executing the move. It’s the only skill that seems like it has it’s own problem because it’s the only skill that makes your character move in the axe/dagger combo. I took it to LA test dummies and tried to find out what was making the delay. I tested each attack using Stalker’s Strike right afterward and noticed that it was the auto attack that was making the delay happen. I even tried pressing #1 and then #5 as Crippling Talon executes fairly quickly. Even dagger #5 had a delay when used with the basic auto attack. Is the aftercast too long? I find a lot in PvP and roaming in WvW that I sit there for a good half a second completely vulnerable. You may say that half second doesn’t matter but in a game where timing is everything, sitting there motionless for a split second is a stun + hundred blades away from my death.

For the three of you to explain why, thank you. I personally run the same-ish setup. I have axe/dagger with sword/torch. The reason for axe/dagger is because i can stack more bleeds with this set alone (combined with sigil of Geomancy for 3 more stacks of bleed of swap). It lets me chase down people with #3 (chill) and #5 (cripple) and also allows me my #4 for a poison apply on the weapon set. When I switch to sword/torch I get another poison apply with #3, more cripples, sigil of Hydromancy for more chill, thrown fire, and bonfire which I can Hornet Sting through to get fire shield through leap finisher.

I kinda like being completely condition and having my wolf or jaguar rip them to shreds with physical damage.

I really like the idea of pressing f2 where your mouse is. This has nothing to do with WvW but yesterday I was playing PvP and needed to fear a thief constantly going into stealth. My wolf would NOT howl for the life of him because he targeted the thief and ran to get near him before howling, then the thief went back into stealth so the wolf was confused and would never howl. In order to howl correctly I would need to take my target off the thief, press f2, then try to tab target back to him while he has Thieves Guild out. It’s a frustrating process and ground targeting f2 skills would be the most amazing thing and make f2 skills more viable and worth it.

Question: Why are people using torch with axe?

Stalker’s Strike startup lag while in combat. When I’m just running around and use #4 it starts immediately, but when I’m in combat and use #4 it takes a bit before I start to roll. I just sit there for a tad and then I go. This may seem small but it is a real pain when I’m trying to do a move at a specific time, and it just sits me there.

Then is there any ranger build that would equate a ranger’s strength with that of a warrior or guardian?

It is frustrating that rangers can’t do dungeons/fractals as well as the trinity classes. How can this game be balanced then?

In WvW I run Apothecary gear and can kill just about any class/build 1v1. The only builds I have a problem with are Phantasm Mesmers, and bunker Guardians/Thieves specifically because I get bored of them not dying and me not dying so I usually just run away unless I want to sit there fighting them for a good 5+ minutes.

Why Scholar runes and not Ruby ones?

I dont know what the developer was smoking when they came up with this way of doing matchups but they need to tighten the range quite a bit I think.
We finally had settled and were having some competitive matches and they pull this train wreck on us.

The dueling area is BL middle south right? By the SP? If so, I would like to commend some people for being classy about it. Ran my level 40 thief there the other day, bunch of AR people there and didnt proceed to murder me, heck, they even help me with the SP. Of course for every good people, there are bad people where I’ve been demolished by a group.

Yep, lots of good people there who are just looking for 1v1 and to have some fun. I’ll help people with the Spider Queen too, even though I may damage them in the process.
