Basically they should be convenient to use when you’re dumping 119g for a set. Right now you HAVE to buy gems for transmutation crystals because of their mediocre stats. They should be sold as skins or be treated as dungeon sets, where the equipment is exotic
Putrid mark rarely procs AOE chaos storm of Spectral walk, and when it does it last for like 1-2 seconds. not sure if intended.
One of the few sets that show some skin for males. Please bring it back!
I managed to do Simir with a pug yesterday without any bug after some time. We cornered her into the wall in the cave and had two designated spark catchers. The others would aoe the place she goes invis because she still takes damage (you don’t see damage numbers, but she is just INVISIBLE). As a Necro, I also utilized all my poison for a total of 20s~ -33% healing to the boss giving the spark team some time to do everything properly. The group at the corner with the boss wouldnt move an inc in case we could aggro the boss.
Our party consisted of a guardian, necro, mesmer, elementalist and a ranger. The ranger and mesmer dealt with the sparks, I pumped out a lot of regen to our front-line and went full dps with double dagger (+ the poison) and the elementalist provided great aoe for when she went invis. One of the biggest factors was probably time warp from the mesmer though, once you get a good timing after the first time she goes invis you can go full dps and blow your cooldowns with 10s of quickness. It was challenging but it is 100% doable. Probably will get nerfed though or some QoL-changes to the sparks because they mess up a lot.

^ honestly, how viable would that be in tpvp? It depends a whole lot on your gear if you go into those traitlines
Anyone else really annoyed with the loud pig grunt from Necrotic Grasp? (Staff 1 skill)
AFAIK dagger builds rely heavily on toughness and vit since you have to be insanely close to your target and would not be efficient going into crit tree with a build like that IMO.
@BlueprintLFE, I just feel like people speccing into a DS build would go for pure power and defenses insted of crit chance to really get use out of the crit damage. I might be wrong though.
What do you guys think of it? I am personally really interested, but a few things really makes me dislike it. The biggest turn-off is the secondary attribute we get from it is +% critical damage. Just why? ANYTHING would be better for this trait tree, and it should be swapped around with boon duration from the power tree. Another thing that would really make this trait extremely efficient would be getting the Reaper’s Might trait from the power tree down to the DS tree. I’m also unsure about the grandmaster trait we get, 5% seems a bit low and would be better if it was at 10%. It might sound too strong but in reality we will spend our force pool a lot anyways.
What do you guys think of these pin-points and of the tree overall? Anything that is underestimated or that should be different?
