Yeah the animation stops for me quite a bit too sometimes. Not sure if the skill is still working and the animation fails (kinda like when you dodge roll or skill and your body just freeze floats at your run but still moving) or what but definitely needs fixed.

A load of invites have been sent out, as well as invites from my mail which was completely overloaded haha.

AFK can be a problem ,but that isn’t a content problem that is a community problem. People need to stop akitteng and start calling people out on it, making sure it doesnt happen as much as possible. You can’t blame the content for players staying in a server and going away from their computer.

Trolls exist in every game, every event, everything. Nothing will ever fix that, so again not a content problem. Things shouldn’t be nerfed on the behalf of trolls or afk people.

If people are afk when he spawns, that is our problem to deal with not a content problem. It shouldn’t account for our handicap. When you go to war in real life, does the enemy handicap your side because of your situation? Nope. You deal with what your dealt, and work with it.

Are you implying that he should turn into an instance? How are you gonna get mass people to join an instance/type of dungeon?

I’m seeing tons of posts with people doing nothing but giving excuses and reasons why “Tequatl” is too hard. OF COURSE he is too hard, that is the point of it. Not everything is gonna be handed to you on a silver platter. For once Anet is doing something that is pushing your buttons and making you work for hours on achieving something rather than just looking it up on Dulfy site and having it completed within 20min.

Timer is too short? It is supposed to be too short, you are suppose to man up and get things done right and fast or otherwise good luck next time.

He is too strong? He is supposed to be too strong, it’s a freaking DRAGON! This is how all of the dragons should be. Challenging and not easy for you to achieve just because you want your oh so loved achievement points. You want it that bad? Work for it.

Too much poison? There are multiple ways of fixing this, like killing fingers asap(organize a team that does JUST that the entire time), cure your conditions, etc. Many viable ways of beathing this.

I could go on with the lists of excuses I’m seeing but the point is…

MANY servers AND overflows are successfully beating this, and more than once. Just because you did not(neither have I so far) get in a server that has beat it yet, doesn’t make it too hard. It doesn’t mean you suck either, it just means the group needs to work together better. Sometimes we’ll get dealt crappy cards, meaning we will be in fail groups/overflows/etc. Complaining and getting it nerfed is only going to show that we can’t try for anything, rather than just complain like babies until we get what we want.

If you are having a problem, do as I am doing. Organize. Make a guild that’s sole purpose is killing this beast. Many servers have done it without using Teamspeak or other voice chats. It won’t come easy to do, but that is the point.

In the end, if you can’t handle the fact that it is going to be hard to do, just walk away then and do something else. I read someone say before(and it was pretty good), that “you don’t see me whining about SAB because I can’t get tribulation mode done”. The point is, not every event is going to be catered to you, and shouldn’t be. This one is especially hard and I love every second of it, fail or win. Failing will only make winning feel ten times better when it happens.

Stop whining and start organizing guys! I see people complaining after the first 2min. and giving up as if it’s supposed to go down as it once did. 2.0 means NOT IN YOUR FAVOR!

If a nerf happens, I will ultimately be annoyed with the community overall in how we can’t take a beating in a computer game without whining to have it nerfed.

We are a guild dedicated to killing Tequatl! We have grown at an epic rate and have beaten him several times! We are going to continue beating him as many times as possible. This guild has grown even bigger in the sense that we are going to remain a guild for future bosses Anet decides to throw at us as well!

Everyone is welcome to join this guild! Do not worry if you get into the 2nd/3rd/etc. guild as all leaders are in all of the guilds and we have it completely organized and set up for all guilds to run together in overflows and make sure YOU kill Tequatl! This has been a hectic ride so far, but a lot of people have been stepping up and helping where possible. IMPORTANT NOTE: When you join us we want you to realize something and our overall motto. We started as a Tequatl killing guild. Since we believe this is far from the last boss that Anet is going to make this hard, we are staying together as one huge guild to band up against any bosses, Tequatl and MORE coming and slay them! With that being said, we understand you all have main guilds and we will NEVER ask you to leave them. In fact, we want you to stay in your main guilds. However, we hope you keep [TTS] as one of your side guilds so you can rep up and help us slay bosses when we schedule to do so. That is the point of this guild entirely, to organize and band up when needed to kill bosses in massive organized numbers. Let us not create drama. Let’s be honest here Kain, you guys know you can’t cough up what is takes to be in this match. It isn’t personal, nor an attack against you guys. However, until you guys get more guilds interested in WvW and overall just better tactics you aren’t gonna keep up. Just last night you guys had a zerg twice the size the one I was in, and you guys not only got crushed but your tactic(or failure to remain organized) was to split your zerg and start running in all directions leaving us to easily pick you guys out…. and this was on YOUR side of ebg.

Note: I’m sure if you want us to very badly, we can show you how we will take interest in fighting your side of things, and flip your entire borderlands if you’d like. However we try and stick to fighting CD as it is a bit more fun. Think about it, our focus isn’t even your server and you guys still can’t really keep up :/ (sorry but truth is truth)

It is nice to see a match-up not only fun, but where I can come to the forums and people are saying how good each other are doing rather than raging on how much each server sucks. Kudos to you CD and you too Kain peoples.

I agree with the original poster here. I’m tired of this game linking and referring all these out sourced websites for help, such as wiki and dulfy and then when they are wrong… we miss out on the achievements/prizes/gear.

Anet is failing more and more as time goes on and it’s getting pretty lame and sad. They must think they have it in the bank and their ego’s are hitting the roof so they are not working as good as they were. Such a shame.

Ok so get this. I made this post in hopes that it would get solved and fixed by tomorrow(now today). I figured, hey they are good game designers, bugs happen they’ll fix it. What do I come back to on the game and the forums? Game… no fix. So I come back to the forums to see if I got a response from a GM or something letting me know AT LEAST what is going on.

I was completely ignored obviously as you can see in this post, on top of that I was “infracted” because my title of my post was in… all caps? So apparently they would rather focus on scolding me for all caps titles, rather than fixing this game that we paid for. Isn’t it funny how “customer service” really gives not one crap about you once you paid the money and they got you in?

Ok here is my problem.
1. entered instance and got investigation kit.
2. went to all 3 suspects, vorrk being the last one.
3. when investigating, around and standing directly on top of him i got nothing, and when clicking on him i got the “leave” option only. (no i do/did not have the fast-cast ground targeting on)
4. I destroyed the box and tried going back to Kiel to re-enter the instance. I could not re-enter the instance as she would not let me, rather than re-telling me where the suspects are…(two options, tell me again where to look. and X Good luck) When I click tell me where again, she just lists where to find them.

So I can’t get into the instance again, can’t do anything further. Please help, we’ve all been trying to finish this quest for over an hour+ now. Fix it, thx.
