Not being a jerk when I say this, but this has a ton of great idea… and I bet the staff has yet to read it. I would laugh if Lions Arch comes out nothing like any of these ideas.

I’m glad they put in this “Last Online” system, so I can get rid of the ancient players.
Where is this speech you all speak of, on a western wall?

This topic has gotten a bit confused. I think 95%+ here agree that LA will be rebuilt in some form….hopefully. The idea and fun of this post is…. how, what, etc.?
What new things should be brought into Lions Arch since we now have an open slate? Should we build it stronger? Should the community play in part of the actual rebuilding of the city with meta events, etc.? Do you think LA should just go 100% back to what it was? LET YOUR IMAGINATION GO WILD!

So, let’s ASSUME that eventually we will get Lions Arch back in some way or another, and not just stay a dead city. Now I personally hope that it doesn’t happen immediately and that it takes a lot of time and effort into rebuilding the city to even better than what it once was…..
With that said for anyone interested…. List things, ideas, content, etc. below that YOU would like to see involving the rebuilding of Lions Arch. Maybe you want everything to be rebuilt out of stronger material and be more majestic than rustic… Maybe you want to see some fun little quests for gathering materials and actually helping rebuild some of the buildings, etc. etc. etc. Do you wish that Lions Arch remain a condemned city in which is turned into a prison for all future enemies? ANYTHING GOES……GO!
(no rules to this, but let’s try and keep it focused on the city of Lions Arch and it’s future)
Yes, I wasn’t claiming anything special outside of what we do, like “first world kill” or anything. Calm down hehe. I was simply stating that we are a quality community. Deso, TxS, and others have great communities as well. Let me be HAPPY Destiny.5316! hehe.

TTS has trouble killing when the wurm is technically not working right, but we get first kill post patch when it IS working right. I’d like to call that…. QUALITY!
http://www.twitch.tv/hellspriest/b/501386388 << watch my annoyingly chew on my lip and the 2nd kill at the same time, Amber point of view.
WE JUST KILLED THE WURM TWICE BABY! BACK TO BACK! OH YEAH! WE MAKING THIS FIGHT FARMABLE!
YAY TTS! Congratz to the best community in GW2!
Hello guys this thread is VERY OLD (as in 4 months old) and we no longer use this method of recruiting. Please go to our website at http://ttsgamers.com for any and all official [TTS] information.
Nobody throws abuse in these communites you speak of. Look at the Desolation video, it is all people working very hard together. Look at TTS, TKS, Blackgate, etc…. all videos showing of them working together even when failing.
We always want new content so that means it is a downward spiral? That makes no sense at all. People always want new content.
I’m not gonna debate on anything else you said, because you clearly didn’t get what I wrote.
My overall point was, Arnath didn’t research and would just rather complain.
Tons of these big groups ARE working together to not only help each other, but help others and other servers with world bosses.
He compared to WoW, when this game has more easy content than it does hard world boss content, so his complaining makes no sense. If he doesn’t like world bosses, he can do every other piece of easy content this game has.
World firsts are incredibly stupid, it creates nothing but a toxic atmosphere amongst players. Now what will these world first players do? Stop playing? How long before they start begging for another hardmode boss and more vertical progression? How about the other 99% of the GW2 playerbase that will never get the chance to kill this boss because of the horrible way it was implemented.
It’s also pathetic to call this a “world first” when only one or two servers had the chance to compete, the overwhelming majority of servers have abandoned the Wurms because its to hard, every player just flocks to Blackgate. If every server had a equal chance to aim for this completely pointless “world first” title then perhaps you would have something to boast about.
These two new bosses have dont nothing but bring the elitists of this game to the surface, so much fighting and name calling in map chat its toxic.
This game is NOT World of Warcraft, if i wanted to do hard mode raids and compete for world firsts i would go play WoW.
I thought GW2 was meant to be different from other mmos, why then have ArenanNet copy/paste hardmode raids from WoW?
There is no toxic atmosphere amongst these world bosses and the players participating. It is actually creating a lot of communites and guilds to FINALLY actually work together in getting things done in this game. You seem salty, and aren’t doing any research. The people who get WORLDS FIRST get to rightfully brag about it, and they will keep playing and keep slaying world bosses because they are obviously good enough to do so. Things like TTS, TKS, DV, Blackgate, Desolation, and more are banding together in a great way to get these world bosses done. Don’t be salty because you refuse to participate with others and want to walk up to a WORLD boss and complete it on your own. This isn’t a single player game.
Sure, we will ALWAYS want new bosses with hard mode content… but I think we are quite satisfied with the wurms for the time being. Just as Tequatl was getting a bit boring and easy…. they gave us the Wurm Bosses. I think their timing is great and it has been so much fun!
You can make the excuse “what about the other 99%”? – Many of the guilds and formations I mentioned above have helped SO MANY servers and even low populated servers help get achievements done, and the better all the mentioned groups and guilds get at killing the wurm… the knowledge will be widespread and the wurms will eventually become easy to kill…and guest what, we will help others get the kills too!
Many servers have the chance to compete, you can blame the community or your low populated server…all it takes is 125(I think that is server cap right) people to work together for a 15min. fight…. it really isn’t that hard.
I do agree this “guesting” stuff can be annoying in the sense that the only thing I agree with you that is “toxic”… is people constantly guesting to Blackgate or Desolation or people constantly trying to get in wherever TTS is fighting, that can be toxic because they aren’t trying on their own. So I understand that part, other than that none of your post makes sense.
You call people “elitists” but you know nothing about “these people” that world bosses bring to the surface. Most of these groups I’m quite sure, work with anyone and everyone. It is all about helping each other and working together. I’m sick of hearing “we can’t we can’t”. It isn’t that hard to get together and work together, we learned this stuff in 1st grade… to work as a team.
Also, you are comparing this to WOW. You are correct, this is not WOW. Guild Wars 2 offers content FOR ALL players, even you. If you don’t like world bosses… there is PLENTY of other content out there for you. The big groups who you call “elitists” actually only have TWO challenging things to do in this game. You have dungeons, most LS content is stupid easy(all achievements obtainable within 2hrs at most)… crafting, spvp, WvW, Fractals. << You have all of that, and we have 2 huge world bosses.
If you want easy peasy world bosses, there is still a ton of them as well. Shatterer, Shadow Behemoth, Fire Elemental, Claw of Jormag, Inquest Golem, etc. << All of them you can feel free to spam your skill 1 and easily get the kills.
(edited by HellsPriest.6745)
Great Jungle Wurm aka Amber, Crimson, Cobalt. << Done.
People who are complaining about the “bugs” and such. I’m not saying they don’t exist or anything, but stop complaining in their Worlds First thread. They deserved it, congratulate them and move on. We are better than this people,… again CONGRATZ DESO!
CONGRATZ DESO!!!!!
Seriously, we’ve(TTS) been working day after day on this, and we are so close…but obviously you so have you guys and gals….well deserved Deso Server!
You all deserve the win!
I will say it sucks not to be Worlds First, but I’m still happy and I can say TTS is happy that someone has killed it! Again, congratulations…. very very well done!
Very cool Naetell. I support it and think it is awesome, I hope your community grows huge and kills these hard bosses and we can have fun challenges and stuff.
^^ DV, what does that stand for? I wish you all the best and hope we have some awesome competition down the road. PM me some info!
Hells, I invite you to transfer to Devonas Rest & try this.
You wont be so smug & full of yourself when you see the realities & consequences server transfers have caused. Whilst they benefit you , the rest of us get shafted.
I never said anyone should do a server transfer. I’m also not full of myself, I never said I was anything great… in fact I said something quite different. I said ANYONE could do what I’ve done….hence, saying I’m nobody special.
Start a community in Devonas Rest, if you can’t figure out why and go from there. TTS isn’t server based, we are a community within all US/NA servers.
You can’t expect a map full of randoms that never speak to each other to just work together randomly lol. So my hope out of this is that we start to see more communities build, and challenge us.
And that’s why these can’t be open world events.
I can’t coerce other people in the map into working together or put some effort. They must do it of their own initiative. If they don’t want…i’m screwed as well.Unless i guest somewhere else, obviously. And then people whine because their servers are always full of guesters…
They can be open world events. You have many options….
1. Join communities already started like TTS, or blackgate server who are avidly trying daily to do these.
2. Start your own community to get these things done. If you want, start it for YOUR server only. This has been done several times on several servers, for many different things.
Note: This game IS called Guild Wars 2. Guild Wars at least to me, in the lore or not…. still remains as a game promoting the fact of GUILDS, and community.
Ahlou here.
I see many people complaining that fights should be easy enough for people to just “randomly” work together and achieve it.
If that happened….
1. People STILL wouldn’t complete things because they aren’t working together from the start.
2. What is the point of an MMO, if you want content that is self-obtainable or so easy to do by zerging with randoms?
Come on people, stop whining and start building! I started TTS with the mindset that people would LAUGH at me and wouldn’t take it seriously…. here I am 11 guilds later, and I have built not only a community but a gaming mindset for Guild Wars 2. I’m not gonna sit here and praise myself, but I’m kitten proud of what I created. People constantly still want to be in TTS for the things we do.
In terms of world bosses and being “first kill”, we have very FEW opponents. Friendly opponents, but still people we are trying to beat in the sense we want to be first. We need more gaming communities to build and challenge us in these things! TTS and TKS challenge each other on these things, as well as we are trying to beat Blackgate and other servers too.
I’m begging you all, stop complaining and start building. Get your friends together, dedicate the time, and put together communities. These bosses really aren’t all that hard(wurm a bit so far hehe), when you band together and work together.
You can’t expect a map full of randoms that never speak to each other to just work together randomly lol. So my hope out of this is that we start to see more communities build, and challenge us.
TTS doesn’t claim to be the best, and we do not want to be the best. We like being the first hehe, but if we aren’t then that is cool too. Our goal is to help people…plain and simple. We’ve helped so many people with Tequatl and we will help more with the wurm AND Tequatl….
I encourage you all to do the same. Community over complaining!
TTS is built amongst players. We don’t have any “elite” requirements to join us… our ONLY rule pretty much is rep during TTS events and raids. I’m not trying to downplay what we are, I love us and think we do great things… but we don’t do anything that anyone else can’t do.
(edited by HellsPriest.6745)
You can see in this video link below, all three wurms went down, almost got all the heads down. We are getting close!
http://www.twitch.tv/merforga1/b/497515842 << Captain Merforga [TTS LEADER] twitch showing the fight.
We haven’t beaten him yet, but I think it’s been pretty kitten fun so far. Really intense. The barrel thing is only ONE of the 3 wurms. If you don’t like that wurm, you have 2 other wurms you can help out with.
Mobs don’t drop anything in Tequatl either, it’s the end rewards that are worthy!
I’m more than willing to have a discussion with you. I can tell you exactly how you do it. TTS Community. We are attempting right now, we have over 5000+ members. We have been working on it since the patch came out. It is called being communal with people, maybe start a guild dedicated to world bosses….etc. There are many ways. Take your guild, make an alliance with another guild, and work together
PUGS do not work together, communities built by players work together.
I know that I have made the biggest gaming community within Guild Wars 2, and we have beaten Tequatl more than any other guild or group in this game. We plan on doing the same with all new hard bosses.
:) Good luck, I hope this inspires you to start a community, or something to bring people together rather than just complaining on the internet…and watching other complain on the internet. (I did it, it worked…and I’m nobody special…so can you).
Uninstall your game then. Spamming 1 is pretty much no different.
You can’t call it “Living World” and then give people a Time Machine Library(The Great Library) to give everyone the chance to go back as they please. Living World gives you 2weeks, your choice to make it or not.
If you can’t make it, then that is fine… do whatever is next. I wouldn’t find it fair or fun that the things I work for to get, anyone can just get at any time. Nope, sorry.
So, I read NONE of the replies…just the original post.
So what you are saying is…. turn the one and only boss we had(up until today), that was worth fighting, should be nerfed because you don’t want to organize(in an MMO mind you) to kill him?
There is a reason TTS can kill him easily, and TKS can and Blackgate can. We team up with tons(Massively) of people(Multiplayer) and organize(Online) to kill him. If anything, Tequatl is the definition of MMO in Guild Wars 2. He has been the only thing required to team up necessarily to succeed in.
So basically, some people can see each other… and others can’t…but we are all in the same overflow.
So this is what is happening. I’m in an overflow with TTS members, one of them being a commander. I’ll call him “commander A”. I joined the overflow with Commander B, however I cannot see Commander B, but I can see Commander A.
Commander A and Commander B can see each other and are in the same overflow, and sometimes I can see Commander B’s tag, but can’t see him at all. So it is like overflows are merging or bugging or something.
It is very weird, and not working at all.
Public Service Announcement
TTS is currently filling up our 11th guild. When it gets filled there will be 5500 members in total!
This is a huge amount of people and it has grown at a tremendous rate. This is AMAZING and we are thankful for all of the community’s support and for everyone who has joined us so far.
The down side however is that our member base has grown faster than our leadership and we are struggling to keep up. To fix this issue we have decided to temporarily hold off on accepting new TTS members after we fill the 11th guild.
Why are we doing this?
As you can imagine, managing a community of over 5,000 members is no small feat. We started off as a simple community hell bent on killing Tequatl, but due to this explosive growth, we have now set our sights on all PVE content that can be thrown our way.
[i.e. Teq raids, Living Story raids/grouping, Dungeon events, etc.]
Because of the large size of the community and numerous leaders, we need to ensure that we are best prepared to meet your needs as a community, current and future members. This will ensure that as we continue to grow, everyone who joins us will be joining a collaborative and friendly community and have a positive experience from this.
How does this affect me?
If you are an existing TTS member, not much will change. If you are someone who is looking to join TTS, we will be restricting the number of invites we send out. This will be based on the number of available slots in all 11 guilds as people leave the community for whatever reason.
Behind the scenes, we will be putting in place processes and structures to ensure that we can continue to grow the community while still being able to meet everyone’s needs.
What does that mean now?
As mentioned above, we will be limiting guild invites over the next few weeks. This is only a TEMPORARY measure and we will open the flood gates once more soon.
Please bare with us during this time. We will still work within the community and we will not shun pugs or randoms who happen to be around our OFs. Please feel free to contact any of the TTS leaders if you have any questions or concerns.
These are exciting times and we hope to see you as a TTS member soon!
Yeah I can’t find the song either. ANET help us so we can get started please. Thank you.
So for this video contest. I’m trying to get the song off Anet’s SoundCloud as they said you can download it free straight from their SoundCloud. However, I can’t even find the song on the list of all their songs, to download it.
Any help please?
@Xae Isareth.1364 – You are honestly spot on. Each task to killing Tequatl is VERY easy, and very simple. However, if one section is failing, it can be a like a domino effect. If the Turret Defenders don’t defend the turrets, the turrets go down, then the zerg doesn’t get cleanses… and the bone wall will go up, and then zerg dies, and no dps…and fail lol. That is a short description but yes you are spot on.
@a t s e.9614 – I can agree with some of what you say. We as a community realize there are all types of gamers out there. Some that wasn’t easy peasy no challenging content(which Guild Wars 2 is full of), and there is incredibly hard content[if un-organized] like Tequatl(which we need more of). So I wouldn’t stress on the type of players you don’t agree with, there are things out there in the land of Tyria for everyone!
For anyone that wants to become a part of our amazing ever growing community… please head to ttsgamers.com and apply there!
Please read my last post, we are no longer accepting invites via Guild Wars 2 forums. However, WE DO NOT fill up so read what I said above on how to get into our ever growing community!
So TTS and Part Time Nerds teamed up to give a funny but well put together guide on an easy way to kill Tequatl.
::NOTE:: About a minute in you will get to hear one of the leaders (Merforga) famous before fight guide/flight attendant speech on killing Tequatl! “nobody likes a deadbeat”.
Check it out!
GM’s close post please? [thank you]

TTS COMMUNITY
TTS Community motto and purpose
TTS Community has evolved massively, but the ideals and core purpose has never changed! In fact, we offer more now than we did when we started plus the things we offered since its inception. Helping anyone that joins our community with in-game support, advice and tips, organized raids/events, etc. is what we do. We are not better than anyone else, heck we learn a lot from our members that join us as well. The focus point here is we are a community that comes together and helps anyone that needs help however we can…within our means.
Benefits of joining TTS!
What is TTS exactly and its history? – TTS Community started out as the Tequatl Terror Squad! A guild/idea that was built for the purpose of killing Tequatl The Sunless. We realized more than just a guild was needed for such events, so TTS was built. We soon realized we had built something great, so why stop there?! We are no longer considering ourselves a guild in any form. We are now a community that helps people get things done that they may not have been able to before without help. Are we better than anyone else? Nope. Our purpose is to be an organized community which gives the opportunity for anyone to be a part of(no matter how good/bad you are) and get help, advice, or just make friends. We are now a communal effort of having fun and getting things done within the games we involve ourselves in such as Guild Wars 2.
What TTS is NOT, and will never be – We realize that with a community so big, and only getting bigger every day, people(even members who shouldn’t be) may say things that aren’t true about what TTS is or isn’t.
Requirements for joining TTS Community
All Communities in this entire world have values and requirements, otherwise it wouldn’t be a community. The word itself Community means a group of any size whose members have a common cultural morality. Our requirements are FEW, but they are listed below.
Apply on our website to join our community – Applying includes nothing more than accepting of our Requirements and you’ll get an invite!
(*If Available; See bottom of page) – We may not be able to offer help physically in-game(running together) if the content doesn’t allow. In that case we can still offer advice, etc.
(edited by HellsPriest.6745)
Chicken dance, macarena, twerking, line dancing, thriller dance, etc.
They should all be added.
The game is called Guild Wars/2. With that said we need more things that benefit guilds and what they can do.
Guild Mail: Running guilds that don’t require 100% rep shouldn’t have to whisper their members to get their messages across. Also, if you put too much in your Guild Message of the Day, it looks cluttered no matter how organized you make it. Guild mail would be a system where if the permission is given to that rank in a guild, they could send out a mailing GUILD WIDE to anyone that is in the guild the message they want to send out. If someone is in 5 guilds, then any messages sent out to those guilds..they would get them…repping or not.
Guild Alliance: I’m sure there is 10,000 posts about this so I’m not going to go into much detail…but we need this. Many guilds need this to ally with one another for certain needs, etc. Otherwise things get cluttered. If you want a community to grow in a positive way… you need these types of options for people to become more aware of one another and socialize more.
Multi-server guild options: If a guild has people from multiple servers, they should be able to SHARE the influence, and share the experience. Sure, they would still have to guest to one server to do guild missions/etc…. but at least they can share the influence. There are MANY guilds which have people from multiple servers.
Anyone else: Feel free to post anymore guild options you think there should be.
This may have been said but I haven’t been able to read all of the great ideas above. However so I don’t forget I’ll lay out the idea I have in my head.
Let me first start by saying I fell in love with Guild Wars 2 because of WvW. Living Story is cool, spvp is cool, and all of the other content besides WvW I really like, however…. WvW is what makes GW2 stand out and everyone knows that. The problem is, you always have to run with a zerg or at least 5-10 people to get anything truly productive done or otherwise it is just random running around killing who you can….but wait…that is the idea!
IDEA: What if their was a game mode in the likes of WvW, where you could enter a map/maps according to your server and fight for little areas…alone! Every man for themselves. A massive battle royale where everyone fights each other to the death for a week long time period. Your kills is your score-count…also adding to the score count could be things you do within the map as well, such as steal little camps of others, etc.(ideas could be brought up on what else besides killing each other you could do). Think about how much fun it would be to randomly spawn in a map and just start fighting people in massive numbers. People could “team up”, turn on each other… etc. all for the fun of it!
Rewards: At the end of every battle royal cycle(a week or two), the top person/s would get a very nice worthy prize. Something of value, whether it be like 10 black lion tickets for a skin or something, or just something worth of value.
It would be a new style of WvW, but warring within your own server for fun.
So, as soon we heard about Pink Day In LA, we had to show our support even before the event coming on October 19th! [This is not a TTS hosted event, we are just here to show our support]
Please participate in this event on October 19th, go to here to donate and to be of support in-game and win prizes: http://pinkday.gamergivingback.com/

Nope. Only rep during our raids.
More invites went out! Please post in the newer post for anymore invites please! Oceanic players can be invited in the new post as well!
