I love Ether Renewal and have been using for quite a while. SoR is only good with a lot of healing power IMO.

Still works. I did this last week so I have all 4 of the “eyes” and also 2 of the necro starting head pieces.

Anybody in Kain no what was up with the ArenaNet official running with the Kain zerg yesterday in EB? First time I seen someone with that red tag on was wondering if he was scouting someone or just there to support Kain.

One day, you will be all hanging with your dolyak, upgrading your tower, maybe running some supplies to your keep or tower… when a BG zerg of Bad Boys is going to come rolling up on you. They will have their big ballistas, and their scruffy hair, maybe an eye patch or a pirate hat. They will wink at you, wave, maybe do a bow, all to get your guard down. Then they are going to ask you to come back to their keep, so you can see their superior flame ram. Flattered, you roll on over to BG’s keep, in the desolated swamp lands… and as you go in… you will be slaughtered by their superior arrow cart. As you lay dying, in the doorway, they will swagger up to you, all hotness, give you that smirk you know so well and say… “Nice loot bags baby, you need to be on your way.” And as you waypoint back to your keep, heart broken, body bleeding, you will have grow a tad bit wiser and a little loot bag lighter.

Don’t listen to the D/D guys, S/D has every bit the aoe D/D does, and better burst when played right. Don’t forget it still has all the offhand dagger aoe.

No Rethesis is not a day 1 Kaineng guild, but the person that was being argued with was, and joined Rethesis a week or 2 ago.

I agree. How can an ele block treb and mortar fire when a guardan cannot. Both skills claim to be able to block projectiles.

Not sure about the guardian move, but Anet responded in a recent post saying the swirling winds used by Ele’s is meant to be able to destroy projectiles from trebs/catas

Wouldn’t it be easier just to make it so the Ele can’t go through the door while in mist form? Sounds completely fair to me.

Good way to discourage new players from playing WvW too…

A 30 day cd on transfers would help with the bandwagoners yes, but most all of us that moved to Kaineng and formed the NEO alliance have never switched servers until this. We moved to our new home and it’s where we intend to stay. In RE we’ve had many discussions about when our first loss on Kaineng happens and how to keep others from getting discouraged. We’ve dealt with many losses on Darkhaven and we’re prepared for more. I for one can say winning or losing, I am extremely happy with the community and the participation in Kaineng WvW.

Dancing or jumping on corpses, or laughing is a tactic used by many to get people to respawn and not be able to spy while dead.

The problem I see with it is that it would actually make it easier to defend keeps/garrisons/SM if a waypoint was there. 1-2 people stay behind and watch the keep, when they see the 5-10 trying to take it they alert in map/team chat and instantly 30+ people show up. It would probably make upgrading to waypoint a lot more common too.

I cant believe people actually think we moved to Kain to boost our self-esteem or what not. We talked for a while before it happened saying how we were going to have several boring weeks before we got into a better matched tier. If we could have kept the even matchups we had when we on DH against Maguuma, DB and such servers we would have stayed. To me those matches that were all within 10,000 – 20,000 points in the end were by far the most fun. I’m sure all of [RE] would tell you the same. We just wanted to build a server that was based on WvW and had a lot less PvE only players.

P.S. for most of us, this was our 1st transfer since launch

RE is here to stay. Kaineng is our new home. So no, we won’t be gone next week…

LOL why would you waste time trying to kill someone in their spawn area with the invulnerable buff? Simple solution…. do something productive.

With the new guild DB will likely move up a tier after next week and get crushed. Hopefully not, but goodluck to you guys.

As far as I know it happens to everyone’s flame eye. Happened to mine 2 days after launch and still no answer on whether it’s ever going to be fixed.

Only problem with that is those same players exploiting would turn around and take away useful siege meant for defending.
