We’re not allowed to acknowledge our adversaries on a job well done?
Lol, im just saying that it is very odd what you guys are doing. Other servers claim you both team up on people. JQ is not the only one. The GW2Guru thread, the screenshots, the videos, and then the constant circle…kitty? You guys are doing. Very odd I should say.
I find it quite odd that you guys were accused of forming an alliance yet every single time you guys from HoD or SBI post it is nothing but lovely praise, joy, and happiness. You guys are not doing a very good job of defending this accusation and I am not even on JQ.
LOL I bet there are people out there who said this about SWTOR in its first month too…and look at those same people now….counting down the last hours of that games existence.
If one this is true in todays market is you do not peave off MMO customers anymore, too many choices, and WoW always a back drop to return too.
MMO customers are fickle. We don’t like mistakes, and we surely don’t like things that are detrimental to our experiences when we do not have those same issues back in the comfort of Azeroth.
If you want to fight for market share in this market the first thing you need to fight for is your players…patches / changes like the one last night was not in the favor of the players. It was a ridiculous attempt to make the game harder, and in turn they went way overboard without consulting the players on a PTR environment.
In the end there is countless bad business practices for this industry that were voided last night…and instead of an apology and rollback and a re-thinking of how to move forward with content changes like last night they told us “Deal with it.”
That is not how things should be handled and Blizzard would never tell their customers “Deal with it.” when a change clearly is the wrong change.
Appealing to the competition to get people angry. Man you are digging yourself into an even bigger hole. Go unsub. Really go unsub from GW2 right now.
I am officially done with GW2 until the patch of 9-18-2012 gets reverted.
You have shafted both your core audiences the hardcore and the casual player with this patch. In response all we’ve gotten all day from over 100,000 views and over a thousand posts is two smug comments from Jon Peters and Robert Hrouda in the dungeon forums basically telling the player base “You will do what we want you to do and you’ll deal with it.”
Well I am here to tell you no, no I won’t just do what you want me to do. I’m sorry I am not tied into a subscription model in this game. If you want to try to tell me how to play my own toon the way you want me to play my toon for a game that I am not locked into you can watch me as well as I am sure many others just uninstall the game.
Your largest competitor launches its new title in 7 days and you all are clearly showing you have no care or concern for your existing player base. This is really unacceptable behavior from a consumer point of view and just shows a real lack of passion or care for the people playing your game.
Another company just had this issue this past year…pretty big company that just lost it’s 2 Co-Founders and 2/3rd’s of it’s staff….because instead of making a quality product for the players they made a product designed only for the developers. If you want to play the game yourselves in-house the way you want it to be played that’s more than fine. However, when you realize that there is no money in that ridiculous business model understand very few games come back from bad reputations from the get go.
2 weeks into your game you already managed to make everyone unhappy in a ill-willed patch update that was not tested, did not go through proper PTR environments and was not communicated at all not even in the patch notes which were released 2 hours AFTER the patch to the community of players.
If this is your business model on-going from today, I wouldn’t expect “business” to be booming a year from now.
Revert the patch and I will happily become not only a player but a consumer again. But as long as this patch stands this will sit next to all the other failed MMOs of this past year on my shelf of boxes that look like tombstones.
You should totally go unsub right now. Oh wait. If you want to go grind, go play another mmo, but then you would probably complain that you had to grind. There is no pleasing you idiots is there?
There is an extreme amount of people in some of the areas where the world effect DE’s are. Making them hard to fail. One however is in Mount Maelstrom or something like that where if you allow the destroyers to ravage a camp, then a powerful inquest Golem spawns near the volcano.
I am level 80 and have yet to grind a single thing. I see mats I don’t need for large amounts of money. These baseless threads coming from no where are strange, so are the posts about the blatant need for cash.
when i saw your graphics comment i puked….literally…then i said no im not listening to this guy and didnt read the rest…
Ill sum it up. The guy doesn’t like it for silly reasons and is apparently confusing GW2 for something else.
I find it ironic that SBI and HoD are both complaining about JQ claiming they have an alliance. Patting each other on the back, giving each other high fives. Oh what was this thread called again? lol.
The less than stellar pro-reviews have really targeted endgame being an issue

These smaller review sites try too hard to make it look like they are different than everyone else that they wind up shooting themselves in the foot. I have seen a lot of negative reviews from smaller sites that use contradictory statements. I saw one where the guy was complaining that the loot you get from some mobs was not realistic, then complained that he could not get something from a spot that was unrealistic. Smaller websites rely on ad revenue and usually pretend they are against the norm. I ignore these websites.
1. I want to see a “Show ANet responded threads”
2. It may already be active, but I want to see my posts and threads I have created in my forum profile.
Can you step up against all the hack and exploits please? *Edited by moderator. Staff call-out*

I agree, Blackgate used to have a lot of people participate until we found a lot of the servers we were going against had speed and flying hacks. I don’t understand how people who did the karma exploit got banned instantly yet these servers are going un penalized for weeks. There are many screenshots and some videos of Henge doing this often.
In WvW I noticed that my 2 skills didn’t really last at all. The stun doesn’t even last long enough for my 3.
Yep, Blackgate is fighting against 2 servers that are teaming up. The map says it all. Half and Half for the 2 servers going up against us in a ganking motion.
In PvE they are fine in some cases however for a majority of the time I have been downed I have rarely bothered using my 2 and 3 abilities. My 2 ability is barely even noticeable and the enemy rarely seems to care that I use it. Other classes seem to have massive stuns and rooting abilities or they can just teleport to a different spot. The 3 ability I find completely useless because when I am downed the stun doesn’t give me enough time to even use my 3. Not to mention now that I am downed my pet is getting attacked since I can’t order it to me with F3 anymore, so it usually dies quickly. I think for 3 there should not even be a cool down or at the very least make it shorter. So far some classes can get away just fine in PvE and PvP from a downed state. However I find the Ranger one almost useless.
Ranger-Druid the strongest 1v1 profession hands down Shhh.... don't tell ArenaNet : )

I usually go 10, 0, 0, 30, 30
You mean it is actually WvWvW and not W&WvW? Simple at that.
I love jumping on to random things. No exploits here to my knowledge.
The Tier 2 Asura Cultural weapon seller has Sylvari weapons. The Sylvari Tier 1 has Asura Tier 1 weapons. So I don’t think you can access Tier 2 Asura weapons at the moment.
