Raids are a good idea, but you need something to do with what you get from the Raids.
There is more to gaming than Raids, and unless it can help you to have time to do things like help new players Then it is not worthwhile IMO.
Gating content so only some can use it is a very bad idea, as it takes all kinds to make a village, so to speak.
WOW was not the end-all game of Raids, just because a game has something, doesn’t make it WOW exclusive. There are games that are not a WOW clone in any way and have Raids. Vayne is just close minded.
The idea, however should be to make Open Raids not instanced Raids.
No Thanks, I like to see 3rd person shooter! I even wish Metroid had stayed a 3rd person shooter, stopped playing Metroid because of that!
Speaking of which, Theif can only invis for 3 secs and it’s the death of anyone who would want to be a theif. Serious problem is no one can sneak attack because of it and the sneak attack is a theif’s mainstay for beang able to deal any damage at all!
A good idea! Every profession should be able to use every weapon! (though they would get different skills from one another).
I’m tired of “Nerf Wars” Seriously could you please stop saying nerf everyone except me because I can’t learn how to play an easy game?
Not me, A-net already killed the trinity while I want classes to be more proactive about build choices, as what you would propose would turn our character professions into straightjackets. Raising the level cap to 99 would help as well as making it so that when all is said and done you have exactly 90 trait points to spend at max level would be best. Beyond that you just make it so that people would not have to think about build choices and professions would be too powerful.
Worst idea ever! Not only is this a good way to get scammed, it also spews alot of spam messages over and over. And to top that all off it also ensures that reporting the scammer is alot harder as you can’t just check the records for proof of the deed the way you can with mail.
Rather than that, why not have quested Prestiege gear for each profession that looks like the gear when you first select your profession? No need to fear, each peice of this gear would be tailored directly to enhance your profession, and would come with double empty slots. And the quests would also provide you with the best possible things to fill those slots up with too. As well as Prestiege accessories that would be your choice from between a few of the same looks, just focusing on different stats?
Sorry, while there may be a sex change, you can NEVER get a race change. Be proud of yourself and your heritage!
For a “Home” instance how come I can’t have my own house in the game, Expansions (Massive Gold Sink) would be wonderful so that while you start with a modest house, it can eventually become your own personal castle if you wish. Each one of the different races houses would look different to follow the environment of your starting town.
I know what you mean :/ It’s too hard to get started in a craft at all, as it takes too much investment for it to be worthwhile!
Rather than that, why wouldn’t you get a mount for a lvl 80 quest that can only be soloed and requires actual skill to complete? And no daily mount thread on top of that, It’s win/win! Mounts should be reserved for players as a sign of Prestiege, not given out to anyone with a buck.
Sounds like a good way to add a real time strategy teamwork competition to the game!
Really? I’m not seeing monumental surges in elite skills at all! Invinceable is nice, but 3 seconds is just not worth it. In all other games it’s 30secs so why not this one? Just an example of how these skills are far overrated in terms of effectiveness. And not only are these skills not as good as one would hope, but they have a larger cooldown on top of that! Feels punished for using elite skills!
I agree with the fact that Character Customization options for BOTH genders were sparse, and more customization would be welcomed with open arms. Think this is bad go to GW1 where I constantly met my lookalike!
Indeed, there should be a mall in town where you can spend your coin on fashion. This would help the game be more looked forward to by female players.
Seconded! I’m tired of people shouting that they are looking for a group. Something similiar to FFXI would be wonderful!
Sad to see Valkyrie didn’t make the list. I’d love to use spears on land.
And a new profession Valkyrie to go with it!
I was wondering why I couldn’t have Deborah from the Dead Sister quest to join as an Npc Companion for solo work. She should be a warrior that starts as the same level as you with unspent skill points and talent points. She should have 3 distinct modes to choose from, Defensive, Offensive and Long Range. Not everyone might have this quest, however simply rescuing her even if not from the Dead Sister quest she would still join you after you rescue her. Any helpful positive suggestions beyond this would be helpful.
