I wish Asura looked like Tarutaru from FFXI, not like little blue ugly gremlins.
The only real benefit of this heal is that it’s fairly short and doesn’t have healing aura like other healing slot skills making it more of a good pvp skill. Also if your a mesmer with 0 clones out it’ll be your best healing skill as it’s more reliable than the one that scales with the number of clones you have out which could be zero as you just shattered them e.t.c.
Well actually for some classes the Dwayna heal is better than what they get, Mesmers for example if they have 0 clones out the dwayna Heal will heal for more making it a more reliable method of healing. Although I agree it does need to be buffed a bit.
This skill is only useful to a Necromancer, otherwise it is totally worthless. And for the most part as human it’s hard to beat Hounds of Balthazar for your elite skill. Get this elite as fast as you can, even if it is 1 of 2 of the most expensive skills it is worth the cost.
So I heard about these things called transmutation stones…It’s also not like you have to use cultural armor. And besides Power, Precision, Cond Dmg actually sounds pretty nice for a Sword or Longbow warrior who has lots of potent degen conditions. This is good advice, as a dual sword warrior can do well and be alot of fun.
somewhere between 20-30 years old depending on which face they get.
No, fashions are a waste in this game as you can’t wear them during combat which is a huge drag. So no, not many people buy things of this nature in the game.
yep, he uses CM weapns and T3 cultural armor. You saw this same armor if you started a human guardian when creating your character. So his profession is likely a Guardian.
Yeah, I haven’t seen armor like that but there may be town clothes that do at some point.
Human because I like the appearance, and because there really isn’t any reason to have one race over the other. Unlike in FFXI where choosing a good race was a tool that helped you considerably, there is no reason to pick anything different from humans.
how about pvp inside the super adventure box, and even the chance to be on the side of Lord Vanquish? Having our characters face each other inside the SAB sounds doable and fun. Since everyone is equal it sounds like a blast, and going inside mazes to ambush your enemies sounds neat.
Careful though, at the start of W1Z1 if you kill all the bunnies and then kill the bunny tornado you get about 30ish points, doesn’t take too long either. You still have to complete the level before you get the reward that team score helps on so that’s not really a big concern, Especially because W1Z1 is meant to not be so hard and thusly the prize is not as great as later levels either.
Yeah, patience please they need time to make classic levels like underwater and lava challenges and considering the game is 3d instead of 2d the workload is higher than it was in classic games. After April 30th give them a couple months so they can come up with good levels and test them.
you mean you can actually get skins? when does this miracle occur?
Oh so you mean we could get to choose a wooden weapon type from the origonal Final Fantasy for NES? So basically you could craft your pointy stick into 1 of the weapon types from the above game? Also no retro game used Swordchucks, instead they were popularized by 8-bit theater so there is some trivia for the day.
Indeed both toughness and vitality are very important, just in different ways. I cannot seem to think of a good way of comparing them, as while they both increase your defense they attack the problem in very different ways.
Indeed, guardians can chase people using skills like Chains of Light, and 1h sword’s #2 skill. Skills like this make it easy to finish the job if timed properly.
Indeed, Apothecary is meant for elementalists not guardians.
Exactly, that’s the point excellent plot twist is completely unexpected.
Well there’s two enpty slots on bar, maybe you could make gloves with retractble nails that could be baught and then used. That way you would need to press a button to let go, while pressing space to jump with good timing. Lets you “Hang out” on the wall a bit so that players that don’t like challenges can take their time to do it.
Indeed, and the evil person who kidnaps moto is Miya! His evil twin sister who it is hard to tell is a girl because the armor hides everything. But what motive could she have?
I know what you mean, if we have a monster already targeted the slingshot should automatically adjust to fire at the target. It would be too involved to add an aiming system in 1st person.
Indeed, Dan too bad it will not work on a technical level. So perhaps they could find a way to have town clothes on while in combat without people in chief’s clothes fighting undead or other people. The inability to use town clothes in combat is why they are not viable.
Well considering there will be more content and we don’t know what wll be in it, just get everything you can. There will be more uses for things like the whip in future updates.
What I mean is, that more than 3k armor is a waste, very much like more than 1k healing is a waste. You need a good balance of stats to be succesful. This is related to trinity death.
Also there is an area of lava in “Continue Hell”.
Unfortunately combat happens in SAB so I don’t think that’s possible, unless you can wear town clothes while in combat some how? I’d like to have town clothes in combat, as I find it ridiculous that we can’t wear town clothes over our armor. Although they might come out with skins for your armor in SAB.
Oh, so basically it’s a skin that makes your weapon look like a nunchuck when it’s just your regular old weapon? I could see that.
The “evil laugh” sound yeah, was kinda funny.
1. I don’t like the cost of keys. Trade 25 baubles for 40? I better just go kill random mobs for the key or just not bother with the chest at all, since buying a key from a store and carrying it over to the chest aren’t much convenient anyway, especially for zone 3. Also, for zone 1, it’s 25 baubles for 20, totally not worth the deal. My ideal cost for a key is 15 baubles. Not only that, why carry the key like a weapon? More like Zelda where you had a keyring would be nice, btw max keys was 9 at a time. Also how about making keys needed to buy for additional areas that hold a keymaze and treasures for someone who completes it. This way failure to complete it would cost you baubles. But success could mean an easier way for a single character who is far along to get treasures that are very nice but not easily farmable.
IMO Soldier is not so great as it neglects healing, which is an important stat for a guardian. and once you get past 3k armor there is diminishing returns for adding more to it. Also bear in mind you could probably craft something better if you have 400 armorsmithing.
Oh lol Druj, if they had a higher chance of dropping rare skins they’d no longer be rare.
That’s a known glitch.
well there’s two empty houses, so probably a hard mode, and also a hardcore mode which only gives you 1 life and no continues. That way is alot better as you get more experience to help with the learning curve.
max bauble count should never exceed 999 as that was the max in retro games. Pretty easy to remember max count when it’s that low. The actual programming number for max on that is 1024, then minus 25 so it’s like why 250 instead of 255 e.t.c. No need for any fix to indicate bauble wallet size that way. Which is why there was never any indication of that in retro games, no need.
Really I like OP’s #2 suggestion because alot of junk rewards for doing something hard would suck. Something like being able to give your weapon a rainbow aura that makes it shiny would be nice Rewards for hard mode should be short and sweet things that are undenyably good. Also hard mode should have it’s own currency called Ultra baubles that can’t be gotten anywhere else, as the only way to get them is to beat a boss in hard mode. You could then trade these for an even bigger list of rewards than just simply getting something for beating a hard mode boss. A big list of possible items without the ability to choose what you get would be bad.
Oh lol JungleNin just get a group for the dungeon, they are not meant for you to solo. GW2lfg is a good site, although it’s not the same as having an in-game lfg panel.
This is an easy way to make the game harder, disable dodging so that pushing forward twice or V no longer functions. True retro gameplay that way, and the game is still possible to beat without dodging once.
I beat the game long time ago and still wondering what a “dodge jump” is? How do you perform one? After having played retro games where there is no dodge I don’t even see the need for a dodge jump.
That’s hilarious, quite the illogical weapon choice! Considering nunchucks are based on dealing blunt damage the intended effect no longer exists. With real swords you could accidentaly hack off a limb as well. Even so I guess cartoon physics apply in SAB.
I like the idea of a boss that slowly kills itself on its own though, makes me laugh while the boss dies from swordchuck use upon itself.
Indeed, monkeys use line of sight to throw and once they get it they don’t adjust if you move. Very simple and good for a first monster to encounter.
Try using it in zone 2 when in the dark forest, it will light up your world! A good place to see it’s effect.
I doubt we’ll ever get that lol. We’ll probably get your basic wooden sword soon though.
How about as a bubble Bobble referance if you take too long in a zone a monster who is invinceable will chase you around until you die? Good thing the monster’s kinda slow although the monsteer flies and can chase you anywhere, the only way not to die is to keep moving.
This could be improved upon, true dashing fixes it but I wanted to make sure people are aware this can happen. Yeah this is me playing dead, and as you can tell from no fallen health I’m not actualy dead. I flop forward like a fish out of water until I dash after this happens.
Ah yeah, you have to jump onto lower branches from up high took me a few extra minutes on that one to figure that out.
I faked my own death! Wasn’t really dead as you can likely tell because of no GW2 fallen health shown. Dashing, either v or forward twice fixes it. But still I know the developers didn’t mean for this to happen as my character flops forward unless I dash to fix it.
Idk about that one, however my character can walk slowly forward and yet jump as if she was running giving me extra distance I shouldn’t get.
Will likely happen at some point, but not for a while as they have higher priorities.
