was also wondering bout this.
on my second level, i started using 128% MF and one dropped from the first mob, then another dropped later on. i also saw exotics drop for my guildies but from chests.
Server: Desolation
Dungeon: CoF
The entrance is blocked (contested) since yesterday and Razen, the npc who’s supposed to start the last event to open it, won’t do anything for the last meta event.
lol this thread’s a joke. thieves are useless? really? learn how to play properly before you say stuff like that. if you can’t avoid being hit and don’t know how to set up your character properly to dish out decent damage, then just pick another class you’re comfortable with that you can either tank with or attack from range.
there’s absolutely nothing wrong with thieves in pve. my main is a thief and it’s my favorite class in the game period. if you’re really good at dodging and knowing when to get out of a fight, then your damage would be godly if you have full berserker gear.
they’re great for single targets but their shortbow skills make up for that with it’s aoe attacks.
did all AC paths earlier with a friend. it was first time for me and i got 60-45-45. he had done one of the paths on the same day before and still got another 60.
is this crap still bugged? c’mon anet, fix the stuff that matters already and leave the lame $%# pointless stuff for later..

Just wondering if anyone else is disappointed that this is a cider port and not native?
very disappointed. they should’ve worked on a native app instead of wasting time with this cider crap.
normal or deluxe, doesn’t matter. you still get what you bought. just download the beta mac client from your account on the website. i’d stick to your bootcamp partition like me though. better performance. i’m guessing it’ll still be better even at final mac release, since it’s not native..
If you spent 3 days trying to get boot camp to work you have issues.. it is one of the easiest things in the world to do..
actually, since apple have been going downhill recently… bootcamp doesn’t download the proper gpu drivers. so, for simple folk.. they may struggle tryna get it to work. especially when they won’t be able to install latest drivers right away because bootcamp won’t let them.
Hello Kai. i see that you don’t want to transfer but i will leave my guild invitation out for you if you want.
i just started a new guild over at Desolation called Fallen Wolves [WOLF] and i’m looking for solid, casual members who like to do their own thing. guildies will be there should you want any help or run a dungeon with us. the roster is very small now, so any good members that join up now will be the foundation of the guild. i also don’t tolerate any drama so you won’t come across any of that.
hit me up if you’re ever interested.
Hello Zekrom. i have a new guild just starting up, Fallen Wolves [WOLF], in Desolation, and looking for new members. we are a casual guild that isn’t focused on one aspect of the game, and don’t require you to do much to keep your place with us. hit me up if you’re interested!

Hello, Fiona.
i’m the GL of a new guild, Fallen Wolves [WOLF], just starting up in Desolation. i’m looking to expand the guild with good players and i’m interested in getting more people that would love to run dungeons as well as doing WvW.
Hit me up if you’re interested. (:
Small new guild, looking to expand. I’m planning on making it a casual guild and not really focused on one thing. PvE, PvP, WvW.. you name it. Just need to increase the number of names on the roster so we can do guild runs and all that.
We are looking for good players though, but still accept new people to the game and aim to help them out as best as we can.
Hit me up on Desolation if you’re interested in joining.

I’ve played several RPGs and seen this done a lot. GW2 will probably get this feature eventually.
i totally agree. i loved using it at first, and while i still see them deal some decent damage at 80.. i feel like they die too quick. i mostly use them now for distractions when trying to revive an ally or get through a zone without having to fight.
Letting us pick weaponskills without actually changing the core game.

Very interesting thread. i agree with all that’s been said. It’s been fun playing with my thief using seperate skills depending on which weapons i’m wielding, but when i stick to lets say d/d, then thats it. i’m stuck with the same set of skills forever, and i hardly change the other ones (utility/elite). having several skills that we can choose from for each weapon we use would be a huge upgrade to the gameplay.
let’s say main hand; sword. has 5-7 different skills to choose from.
offhand; dagger. same number of skills.
and the dual wielding skills get the same treatment too. several skills to choose from.
Changing names could be a good idea, along with appearances. for a fee, of course.
