Don’t stress to much about ppt as with new match up system your bound to play stronger or weaker servers. Just play the game for fun and winning will come naturally

Had tons of fun sos bl today, cant believe we got garrison in that reach around move. No one even saw us at water gate. So much loot was had, with many really good fights. Hope the rest of the week is this fun:)

First off small teams win the match for your server. Large forces usually waste resources ie people, plus you use strats like have a 5 man attack a tower in far side of map while main force goes to keep. This just helps the small team get some reward as well. Why mf because no one has it in wvw saying your a serious wvw player because you dint like magic find is stupid. Its just that other stats are too important if you get it without any negative effect why be mad lol. Just gives you more coin to order uogrades

Make it so the less you run with the more mf you have. Example say solo you get 200% mf then with each other person you lose 10% till you hit 20 people and you get no bonus. This will helo with rewards as well for running small man teams. Thoughts?

I think he’s fine in all cases except he is extremely overpowered. He easily takes a tower by himself. I don’t mind that he should be strong but to basically insta-kill pretty much anyone around who doesn’t immediately jump away is a little extreme. It also takes a ton to take him down especially when servers will activate him and let him sit/take a tower himself.

I think he should have a buff on him that scales his strength based on the number of allies near him (to a similar point that he is now). This way if a server starts him and just leaves him he is around a more durable Camp Supervisor.

Not sure what your talking about he doesn’t attack the tower at all, he just throws down seige and attacks enemy players. The reason you see him standing in front of a tower without anyone around is your server is not killing him on purpose so they can’t restart the breakout event

Afew guildies and I came to FA 3 months ago and haven’t looked back. We were in DB (prev DR/GOM w protocol) and once we saw FAs’ wvw community we were home. There is still lots of zerging if you want to wxp train, but it feels more like organised skirmishes with quality pvp n lots of communication between coms/groups. imho the only thing holding FA off tier 1 is our oceanic coverage

Almost all right mixing up time zones a bit though we are very strong during oceanic time, usually hold the lead. Sea/ euri is where we need most help, though we have a very good group of sea players just nit enough numbers

You missed out last night during early oceanic we owners all of eb green side except one camp

Wvw behind windmill is the dual spot or ask guildies to go to a empty spvp server and dual there

I got to give it to TC, there always the first to post on threads with people looking for a server

Ok, here’s my take on everything.

- TC/FA taking a break – so are people on DB. New PvE content, finals week, burn out, OP Arrowcarts, etc etc – those are not unique to your respective server. We’re ALL going through this.

- I, for one, do not care for T1 nor have understood the lure of it. Would it be an accomplishment for Dragonbrand to hit T1? Absolutely, I would be extremely proud of Dragonbrand if we ever accomplish that. But, like many servers before, people will get bored/burned out and eventually transfer off or stop playing all-together. T1 is where servers go to die – fact. It is an inevitablity that only a server’s community can remedy until a better system is put in place.

- Should Dragonbrand implode (for a second time) as many of you are wishing and hoping (don’t even try and hide it) – I welcome it. The most fun i’ve had is fighting our way back up with those that chose to rough it out after the exodus – it was tough, but gave us a sense of accomplishment and sculpted the core WvW community. Win or lose, every week was something new, every red name was different. Why do you think it’s hard recruiting guilds from Dragonbrand? I’ve only known of one major guild that left Dragonbrand since our rise back up – and some of them have already returned.

I am sure I can speak for most of my guild and hopefully most of Dragonbrand when I say, we’ve been there, done that and we’ll gladly do it again. Elephant Ambush, no matter how big or small, T1 or T8 and everything in-between, we will remain on Dragonbrand.

Agree 100%. DB WvWers are mostly made up of server loyalist. Whatever tier we are in we will just come out to the fights and enjoy the journey.

Personally, I sincerely appreciate all the NA/Oceanic players and guilds who has been fighting along with us, no matter which server they are on today. Without their contribution we probably wouldn’t have made it back up. Even if they are no longer on DB, they can take pride in helping make the server we are today.

Also a big hug for RE, rB, Agg, CO, and others who recently joined us. Not only did they bring the much needed help to our NA and EU time slot which allows us to become competitive in T2, each of them also brings their enthusiasm and techniques that helped us fight better. i.e., Noodles’ prep party before our first T2 match probably was one of key reasons to give us four-map ques for hours.

And yes it might be too early to do chest bumping. The point spreads are small. If FA gets a good SEA guild they could very well be in the lead. So is TC if they have their full force out. Both of these servers have impressive guilds. Lets see what happens in the next few weeks.

It seems a a lot of FA and TC players are just not doing much wvw anymore I know most of my guild isn’t no has transferred though thati know of just burnt out things may change greatly if all come out and play again

I recommend Telstra ultimate cable bit more money but worth it, though the wireless router they give is crap I ended up just buying my own. At least call them and complain maybe you have a bad line they can fix

There have been a number of servers aspiring to get into T1. FA keeps them in check. We are like the annoying STD you can’t get rid of. We don’t play the PPT way, we just play to kill all day.

It’s funny how the people that just riding the coat tails of a sever that worked really hard to get where they Are are doing the chest thumping. While the people that did all the hard work are winning in good form…..

Though our golem jumper speaks asking where we plan on attacking next. One of the people on map recognised the name and called him out and he denied it saying it wasn’t him. We then told him we had a video of it and hadn’t spoke since. Lol

Well, I guess we were too busy defending Garrison AND Hills at FABL. You can’t defend a Garrison with holes in it AND defend AND defend an unupgraded Bay.

Especially when the map-commander just left, after the wise words ’It’s not easy to keep commanding after 12 beers’ :-)

I don’t know much about mesmers but I love my necro. I play mostly wvw and a power build with wells and marks is amazing at defending/ attacking towers/keeps. It also has great survivablity with death shroud. If farming is your thing tagging tons of mobs is real easy as well. Tons of loot and fun to play can’t go wrong imo

New week lots of guilds seem to be moving around, hopefully some of you will consider coming to FA. We are very active pvp orientated server, though lots still pve in there off time. As others have said we focus more on having fun and killing zergs. Ppt not our main focus but comes naturally. It’s better to just go out and have fun as if you worry about ppt 24/7 your server or guild will eventually burn out. If you want a fun and stable server look no further. If interested in oceanic time zone feel free to pm me, sea is probably best for Fallen Deaf Ears all other time zones just ask anyone posting in this thread

lol they made made queues so people don’t just pile onto servers, Ex. t1 servers, of course you’re going to have queues, if you don’t like them then i suggest transferring out of tier 1. Tier 2 really only has that problem and reset nights and the weekends, while tiers 3-8 probably don’t even know what queues are (just kidding, just proving a point)

Believe it or not last weeks reset when I logged in late pst time zone FA didn’t have a que on any map and that was reset day lol

Kain is a good server as it is, all they need is few more players to be right back in the mix if things in tier 2. Please don’t try and wreck our matchup.

I would say its bad only if there’s a que for eb and your getting pushed. Free seige for server is always good other wise

Should have options for only guild to see that commander can have control of some times you need to rally pugs or sometimes I switch mine on to say another servers Zerg at me or golems at me

From playing both tier 1 and tier 2 na side. I would say tier 2 has more skilled players in general, but just don’t have the numbers to compete yet. Now not saying there arn’t lots of really good players in tier one. They have some best guilds just there are tons of players that arn’t good there for the tier one “glory”

2 points I would like to make. 1st kain is doing fine people are over reacting yes they arn’t in first this week but TC came back from further last week no big deal. Second all the TC going into kain recruitment thread is making then look desperate. Okay to bump it up for them once and awhile but all sudden 20 people posting from another server looks bad IMO.

I’m in epx, don’t mind my sig thats my personal guild. ATM the guild is just over 90 people. We wvw pretty much every night and all are on ts. We generally have at least 20 with us plus pugs. We do guild missions wed night before wvw and general have lots of pve going in in off hours if that’s your thing. We are always looking to expand our numbers. If you want larger guilds we also have avtr and UA. If you need anymore info feel free to hit me up.

After a very good reset weekend (6k lead ATM) we are still looking to expand our numbers for the upcoming tough week ahead. Sea/ euro are still top priority, but all time zones are welcome. If you love pvp this is the server for you as many of too guilds excel in open field fighting. Come join in the fun

I would say kain is more sea, we usually have the ppt lead during oceanic time them you clean house when we go to bed. Though we held over 300 ppt tonight till 12;30 sydney time when I logged for the night

Nice to see FA doing so well, we held over 300ppt during all of oceanic time. Now if only we can keep it up all week long

Wow, that is a really close score for a Tuesday. Usually i would see Kain up about 20-30k points over second place at this time of the week.

I think our Oceanics, SEA and EU have been putting in some extra time this week since our NA teams have been a heck of a time keeping TC in check.

Last night during oceanic prime we were holding 300 ppt for long time even got up to 345ppt well at least when I was good job all around closed the gap a bit hopefully na side closes it more today

This seems like a Zerg nerf IMO, which is a good thing charge straight in get your butt handed to you

Well SOS and IOJ were the 2 unofficial oceanic servers, though both have since fallen apart. I know most oceanic guilds from IOJ and couple from SOS are now on FA. I started on IOJ (mostly because SOS was full) and I’m now a proud FA player

Skill lag must only be either a na issue or tier 1 as had 3 way battle with over 100 people in tier 2 and no lag, guess I’m lucky lol

I have to say from reading all the forum posts I was expecting serious issues but since I got home I found none….. Yes we could use better armour to buy but I’m sure that will come in time. I’ve experienced no lag either with both settings on highest in na tier 2. I live in Australia so Im pretty far from the server. May be its people’s computers not handling it….

Personally I see next week being really good for TC, why because its the most populated server of the three, no not wvw population just over all. With all the new stuff coming I can see a lot of pve players coming out of the wood work to try wvw. Though time will only tell.

Though I will admit the price should be more like $20-30 per month for custom arenas

Yes it sucks having to pve for gold and the ca prices are too much ATM. The thing is though pvp has no other way for anet to make money. Since its not a subscription based game no people buying gems = no development money. You wonder why pve gets way more attention but as soon as anet makes a way they can get money you complain…..

After a hard fought second place finish we would really like some sea/euro guilds to join the fun to take first in tier 2. You won’t be alone as we have people in every time slot just thouse are needed most. Could also use more oceanic guilds though we usually hold the ppt lead in that time zone we could use more to give our dedicated guilds a bit of a break

Gratz FA way to put the extra effort in this week. Hope to do it again next week maybe even challenge kain, though if these rewards are good enough it may bring out TC pve players and make it hard match.

I find staff is a must for sieging defending towers though, hard to stab people sitting in a wall. I prefer open field combat but at same time got to do what ever I can to help server win
