Hey like title says looking for a good guild during early oceanic (7am server). Would prefer if ran most of time tagless/ gvgs. Have tons of experience as a power necro. Nice added bonus if you do tpvp as well. Prefer BG or fa but at this point looking at anything. Been in NV, epx, hire and few other guilds. Hit me up if your guild fits this. JP

Stacking up only on tiers 1-2 are basically the players fault. Tiers 1-2 keep recruiting / buying guilds just so they can beat other servers in their tiers. Whatever bad stuff they
get from it, is what they all deserve. A lot of lower server players don’t want hammer blobs / infinite arrow carts / golem armies. It’s just no fun for a lot of people so keep

I would agree with your post for a na players but… As a oceanic player I can only get good fights in top 2 tier and even tier 2 can be boring at times. So basically besides na people or euro on euro servers we don’t have a choice but to stack on certain servers. There just not enough of us to go around

No I don’t think I’m wrong just not going to argue on forums. As I can’t think of a good spvp example. I use this do you really think jq could beat mag for example if they had the same numbers? JQ is ranked higher

My guess is TDM is the hardest to balance as it will really show any imbalances in classes fast. So they are trying to get that sorted first. TDM and capture the flag are my favorite modes though so I hope they come soon

No just bugs me the same thing people say in wvw when they are in tier one they think there better just because of it . Either one is either just a grind or a transfer. Some of the best people I’ve fought been on lower tiers in wvw and lower ranks in spvp. Just saying don’t judge people just on rank alone. Was the main point. Then people attacked me/assume I know nothing. I attacked back so just delete topic as it just getting dumb.

Our guild has been getting bigger again but are always looking for more good players that like to have fun.

Had fun roaming around last night with the 5 of us trying to pick off people lagging behind there zerg. We even tried to yolo kh maybe 20 of you ..... Didn’t end well lol

The reason you see so massive blobs at one keep usually as there is nothing left to take. Last night nv ignored a couple call outs to save other stuff while fighting hard/military just because good fights are few and far between for us. Yes we were using massive amounts of seige later to cap things but it was a joke we just all goofing around in ts…. just trying to make the best of a boring matchup

Join a guild and you’ll have fun. I found it is really demoralizing if your not running in a good group of people but if you are you can have fun no matter what. When we fa were playing tier 1 for months straight we knew we couldn’t win but all our main guild loved it and in fact cant wait to get back there. Personally I think being on the losing end is almost better at least there are fights every where you go atm bf4 is the only thing entertaining these days

I,ve only seen queues on reset… though I play oceanic but even sunday durning na prime it was 15 min most

Plus I know nv put in a lot of hours yesterday we started at reset 1:30pm sydney time and playerd till 3:30 am. Though last few hours were bit of a right off as we were pretty drunk at that time

FA didnt recieve any oceanic guilds in months meow was the last one and they been here for little while now. We got 3 na guilds though pvp, core and I think ftv (may got last name wrong) We are just gettung all our old oceanic players back into it. NV the guild im in went from 40 players acouple weeks ago to now over 100.

Fa oceanic crew has nothing ti do with transfers I think I saw 5 core last night. Fa has always had tons oceanic players were just finally getting them out of la/pve and into wvw. Besides core which is late pst all other transfers were na

Fa dosnt usually have a strong reset night all our guilds log off early for what ever reason. Though we have lost a lot as well anet dumb leagues are to thank for that

I personally don’t think the buffs and ascended gear are that bad they are all minor difference. Yes they help but learning how to play/skill will get you a lot further. For example 2500 health extra is nice but my death should one usually hits for 4k I can probably count number of times on one hand where one shot made the difference in the fight.

I find there very little skill zerging. Pugs on ts can easily wipe most guild groups. Coordinated organized zerging steps… Stack blast fire fields, run towards enemy vail. Turn one way or the other Vail again, necros go plague spam aoe Blind. Guardian’s use group stability everyone else spam aoe, run thru them stop blast water fields. Turn around hit the head of group rince repeat. Stay on commander. Not hard at all

Don’t get your hopes up yet you may get a bunch if guilds transfer over for a easy win in bronze league. We just got 2 guilds from BG I didn’t see that coming

I would think the meta for it would be easy to get no matter what server your on. I’d be more worried about having to go against stacked servers to get in top 3 for each league…

Really you would pay to get a achievement you don’t even work for…. On side note you have to do the wvw weekly achievements to get as well so you don’t wvw you won’t get it

Its funny how people worry about ssd. They Have massive amount of times to wrights. unless your running a data server you’ll most likely never hit its max wrights. Yes first gen ones weren’t that good but they have come a long way. Also when kitten starts to fail you lose space when a Hd fails you lose everything…

Yeah maybe after 150 or so I played for 2 hours and just from wvw drops and one invasion I’m at 62%. A person in my guild is 137% not bad for one day….. People just like to cry about everything

I would bet we will do better then db they seem to be falling apart. Fa is always out no matter what. Though I know tc will beat us but a far margin. I can say for certain we much rather fighting you guys then rolling over lower servers

Ahh lower tiers… I like to run solo lots of time and just find higher tiers have more targets sure you run into odd zerg but easy to avoid them most of the time

I use Win7 on an SSD and it probably boots about 3 seconds slower than Win8 would.
I can live with that.
You really have to start understanding that with Microsoft change = hype.

@OP I think your gamma and color temperature settings were simply too high/wrong on your old drivers. Giving everything a too washed out look.
Try sweetFX and the texture sharpening for a real change in look.

If you can see a difference of 0.0x FPS then you deserve the crapfest that is Win8.

WinDRM8 is simply Microsofts attempt to kick Steam out of the Market and monopolize all of PC Gaming.
But I guess if one needs to always have the latest(& oh so best) then Win8 is the way to go.

And I´ll believe the miracles Win8 is supposedly able to make the crappy GW2 engine do when I see cold hard FPS and CPU load numbers.

I’m not sure what your gong on . I use windows 8 and love it loads a lot faster. Everything works well. Sure I don’t like the new tile start screen but I just don’t use it. Hey all,

I’m looking for a new server for myself and guildmates. We’re a WvW focused guild and looking for a server with a good wvw presence and has oceanic/asian timezone coverage(Tired of losing everything overnight).

We play during NA primetime 4-12pm central, So we’d like to find a home in which we’d help make a difference and not just add to a zergfest. Currently during our wvw nights we bring 30+ members and on our off days we’re usually 15+

Reasons for us wanting to leave current server.
- Server is full of 1-4man PVE guilds who make up a completely unorganized zerg.(We’re one of maybe 2 guilds who are WvW focused who bring 30+)
- Server has a very negative attitude which believes you can’t win unless you outnumber the enemy. (Our guild thrives on fighting superior numbers)
- Current group of commanders in wvw are karma farmers who don’t care about wvw score(It’s a PVE server), So they happily trade T3 assets for paper assets.

If you think your server fits the description let me know via reply/message.

So from what I understand.

Your an NA guild looking for a server you can make a difference in (a server with small a NA crew) but you don’t want to get your stuff flipped overnight (good coverage eliminates servers below bracket 2) and you don’t want to always run in a zerg (eliminates t1 servers, TC still questionable).

JQ=- Too many zergs, Large NA, stacked
BG=- Too many zergs, Large NA, stacked
TC=- Many zergs, good NA, kind of stacked. + good coverage

Lol fa little to no coverage. Yes you won last week but we’ve beaten you guys a few times. So far this reset we have been over 300 ppt most of the day and over 400 at night.

I say come over to fa or at least send a scout over to see for yourself. We have a community ts that is widely used. Have tons of havok squids, as server we focus on pvp not ppt though that comes as well. I know you’ll won’t regret coming here if you do

Epx was originally a dedicate wvw guild under a different name on ioj. We moved to FA and moved never looked back. Once there we changed into pvx guild and have all guild missions unlocked and run them weekly. We are looking to get more into wvw again. We currently have 160 members and looking to expand. FA is a great server with lots of talented guilds to learn from/ work with. If this sounds like it may interest you feel free to send me a message and I’ll answer any questions you may have.

Come to fa if you like to fight. We have a very good mix of guilds that like open field combat and others that go for ppt. We have round the clock coverage but could use the most help in the euro time zone to set up for na. We a very widely used community ts. Yes I know high level fractals are hard, but I don’t like having to do same thing over 20 times to get harder/ just use a bad mechanic agony as gear gateway

This game really needs harder pve. The new dungeon is a step in the right direction but still to easy and there should be multiple difficulties. One maybe a bit easier then this was for people that aren’t into a challenge or are just not good at video games. Then another hard mode for people that like a challenge, with harder boss mechanics. I mean really hard like no one can beat it for a few days of trying kittene thing I really miss coming from other MMOs is a sense of accomplishment for doing something few others have. Almost everything in this game you can roll your face across the keyboard and win. Also maybe give out armour with more effects as a reward for doing the hard mode version.

I got to say eb fa keep wow so many bags, I got 200 badges if honour in last 2 hours

Not sure what your talking about in tier 2 na I hardly ever get skill lag. Inly when 3 servers are going for smc. Maybe your pc cant handle it try lowering your settings

Bottom server should be free, bottom 3 tiers should be very cheap, cant transfer to tier one, tier 2 and 3 should be price they are now if I missed any you get point anyways

2 people dont seem to understand that things will balance better over time…yes there are going to be blowouts from time to time but one week you may lose next you may win, stacked servers will soon get bored and the population will spread out. Give it time and just keep fighting
