Transfers allowable, but account denied to WvW for a grace period of one week.
+1
Don’t count out +10% health. That is probably 2000 more health per player which is nearly equivalent to having one orb.
There was a glitching exploit. If you check the other post, Yak’s Bend had actually apologized for it since it was the act of a single person. You assume that Ehmry Bay is just making excuses when the person exploiting has a name “Boss Kantot” Kennethzxc.2194 and has already been reported by both servers.
The orb altar broke and traveled in a straight line to their garrison without any deviation from terrain due to manipulation of the character’s z-axis. This is a common exploit now since it’s popular. Do not assume our server is ignorant; it is an insult to the twenty Ehmry Bay players who spent 8 hours that night fighting Yak’s Bend with the most coordinated effort we’ve ever have.

I spoke with the original poster Blind Man since I was the commander online at the time when this occurred. We cannot retrieve the orb again since our altar is broken and bugged, but we understand that it wasn’t an act from your server. Although I can’t say much for the sentiments of every Ehmry Bay Player, those that were with me understand the situation and don’t hold it against Yak’s Bend.
Here’s hoping we still have good sportsmanship the rest of the week and make it a good fight.
Let’s not risk being the underdogs a second week in a row. Until we’re 100% sure that Maguuma won’t be abusing timezones to nightcap us, I propose that our servers work together to keep their presence on the maps to a minimum. This can only work if the major guild leaders get in on this and if you spread the word of this to /map and /team in the WvWvW maps, so please, do!
PS: There is no reliable way to make sure the entire servers respect the alliance, so, I mean, some sillies and baddies are going to run around breaking the terms all the time. It might be best to ignore those little conflicts and let the baddies fight each other while the good people focus on Maguuma- together. Let’s make sure we don’t end up with another unplayable week, huh?
So what if you have a basic-organized group of players that rally in the water and arrive in a force of 30 or so to raid camps and towers? The typical 2-5 volunteers defending get crushed, and it’s fairly difficult mobilizing your main zerg to meet theirs. You can send scouts to see where they’re going, but the situation is that you have PUGs that take time to mass.
Do you pressure their keeps with your zerg even though they leave 10 defenders?
Do you spread out your army to all points to try to delay a huge zerg?
I’ve used this strategy of backcapping towers and then keeps with PUGs, and it seems fairly difficult to counter if both sides aren’t fielding organized PvP guilds.
Exotic karma gear = PvP gear for many slots.
For more than half the classes in the game, the PvP gear is trash. For Thieves, it’s trash – you don’t want any of it. For everyone else, a full PvP set is possible at 500-1000 badges if you get the right karma items.
Allow upgrades to gather funds from multiple players. You could even make it easy and make a button for a contribution of 5 silver and a small progress bar towards an upgrade. Once an upgrade reaches full contribution, it’ll queue. Incomplete contributions will remain on the other upgrades until they’re ready, and you can lock people out temporarily.
I’m tired of paying 1.5 gold out of pocket for fortified walls, and I’m sure the entire other 4 players who care enough to buy upgrades hate it, too.
catapults were not made to shoot your own door =P
What is this heresy you speak?
It appears the Tarnished Coast – Ehmry Bay alliance was successful.
We bartered with TC in Ehmry Bay Borderlands Wednesday, and when Maguuma’s SFD guild decided to ninja queue and siege Etheron while we were sieging Dreaming Bay (3 times), TC was benevolent enough to completely decimate them at the runes and at their own tower. We, in kind, trebbed Maguuma to death at their tower and sent them home to Maguuma Borderlands where they should have queued in the first place before losing all of it.
Kudos to you, TC, for honoring this pact. We hope to do business with you in the future.
P.S. Your 2-4 man TSG squads are quite formidable, and I would say are a bigger threat than 10 Maguumas.
Ehmry Bay’s militia is still putting up a hell of a fight against these two servers that were 6 ranks above us last week. Even if there wasn’t a tangible alliance, you all had better stick together because we’re about to give you a beat down like we did on Friday.
Was the golem parking lot still full the next morning?
