If you look where I am on mini map, It’s clearly not possible to hit that far down the stairs from the right parapet directly above the tunnel. (no matter how you angle your camera)

Also, pretty obvious it’s an AC. Bleeds on me not cripple from barrage.

Can’t see exactly where you are right there, but we had ACs pretty much in every corner of our EB keep last night, including the tunnel.

If we could stand on it, we built on it. Maybe it was a case where the AC was in a corner where you didn’t look?

The only AC that was on the tunnel was between the left and right parapet of the keep no AC’s placed at the top of the tunnel. It’s not possible to hit that far down in the tunnel, you would hit the ground above it, with the AC placed where it was. I would run to the top of the stairs constantly to barrage the AC, at first it couldn’t hit half way down the stairs which is normal, then it was hitting at the bottom of the stairs which isn’t possible without zoom hack..

I have a intel i5 2500k @ 4.5 ghz and a gigabyte 7970 and runs good, 60 fps almost all the time except for wvw , drops to 40 fps in EPIC battles, the overclock REALLY helps!!! you should try it!!

I hold steady fps 60 everywhere in the game pve wise easily. except that spot in LA it’s taxing due to the forges particle effects. I pushed the 3770k to 4.0ghz and left the 280x at it’s base oc cause it really doesn’t matter. (Tested it already had it at 1140/1645 minimal frame increase like 2-6 fps, but I don’t feel like running my fans @ 100% 24/7) WvW wise I never go below 40 fps usually stays around 45 to 50 in huge fights.

This screen is 4.0Ghz and Factory OC on the R9 280×. Should see for your self how taxing that spot in the screen shot is and post your results with the same settings.

PS: I wasn’t complaining about the fps it’s actually pretty decent compared to a lot of other peoples results. even though I have it set to highest settings.

Idk where these skilled players are, lately its been 1v3+ where people only to wipe and come back with more numbers, they run into towers to man siege and never come out alone. If zerging is skill then I guess HoD is winning. So far only people to give me a fair fight have been Yarr and they are from FC originally… Also please HoD stop with the emotes after it takes 7+ to kill 2 guys, seriously only 1 more week and your server goes bye bye to silver league, Ahh there is some skilled GoM though, that one necro got me good , props to the Gom necro!

Sorry bro DETH is from either Gom or HoD, Deth is my guild, as for wiping a 4 man of us, no you wiped the first 2 of us, and the others were pugs that weren’t even putting a decent fight, which is why I raged, because I always had your ele down and the pugs with me couldn’t even sustain a fight, so i called in 2 more, and yeah it was 2 of us that wiped over and over, but once I had my 4 man comp we wiped you, aside the fact from the thieves running away or perma stealthing, as for 1v1 or duels i always show up, i was there saturday night and the only fights I got were Yarr, and if you claim HoD has skill because of Yarr, elt me remind you Yarr is from FC itself and xnferred to HoD only days ago, so aside from Yarr idk what skilled group there is on HoD, aside from Winters, i hope you throw some nice fights my way, ":) will be waiting on them!

Unless you are under a different tag, you have never shown up. Ask any of the yarr members who you know so much about, but me and cap have been dueling with them all the time at windmill. As for the staff ele, he admits he is a terrible ele and just plays it for fun. But when you come to fight night i’m sure he won’t mind dueling you on his warrior or thief. You finally managed to kill 2 of us with your 4 man plus a couple pugs. If you want we can have the same 4 man battle at windmill but you probably won’t show up. Advice to FC: you should probably drop deth, they are making you look bad. Although the way they QQ is hilarious so maybe keeping them wouldn’t be so bad either.

yeah, I don’t play thief, I play a necro I do little to no roaming. You seem to be confused hope that cleared it up. Now speaking open field wise, why have I never seen [Deth] alone with this 20 man super group that is so elite and dominant? I usually see [Deth] and around 20-30 pugs/militia.

I’m perplexed by perplexity runes myself, really doesn’t take a lot of skill to interrupt in GW2. I’ve played a few different classes using Perplexity, sadly it’s easier than playing a D/P perma stealth thief.

Just FYI guys, since someone mentioned we “dropped off” wvw last saturday during later half of the prime time. That is correct.

It had nothing to do with us though, we got smacked with the top-notch a-net’s programming. We were runnign 20-30 people per map and had the official outmanned buff while having 15-45 minute queues on our maps. I am not sure how can any team be outmanned, officially, with the buff and have a 45 min que. This lasted for good 3-4 hours, then it somehow went back to normal but by then it was too late.

So beware, this may happen to you too.

Not sure how it works, other than it is kind of an AoE buff (with a large area). So if there were both servers in the map and the main forces were close to you, then you could probably theoretically get “outmanned”. (even while having enough to queue)

If everyone on all maps had it, then I would say it was some kind of bug.

Outmanned is mapwide for your server (not an AoE buff). It gauges proportional size of each server to the others, however Anet has been careful to not release the exact figures of how many opponents are required to grant outmanned to any team.

I’ve never seen this happen before, so if on the same BL there was both a queue for those attempting to enter the BL as well as an outmanned buff on your group then it was a bug that should have been reported.

Yea, but trying to do customer service tickets with video and recordings of people stuck in que while trying to keep up in a group of roughly 20-25 people against a group of 40ish is kinda taxing already. I am not much for taking screenshots and doing that kinda stuff, I’d rather just play the game.

I can say 1 thing [MU] doesn’t run with anything close to 40. Most the time 20-23.

I myself originated from Maguuma. I did play on TC for some time, TC is a flip flop server one week we would win by a landslide the next we would lose by 100k. To add on to that, sitting in a 4+ hour queue since the league started wasn’t fun either.

I love it here in bronze, funnest time I’ve had in WvW. Sure as hell beats trying to do 20-30 v 80 on a nightly basis.

PS: This is for you and King both research a bit TC isn’t a T1 server. TC is probably the worse server to be stuck on WvW wise.

Seriously, HoD makes (frequently) some of the most rookie mistakes I’ve ever seen. You’re a bronze league server, you’re literally one of the worst servers in existence. Calling others out for making rookie mistakes is just silly. We’re trying to get better (just like you are) and don’t need people taunting us on the forums about it.

All I was trying to do was Rustle some jimmies. Success!!! Now come out of your tower with your 40 and fight our 15-20

Longbow rangers are super common amongst the ‘randoms’ in WvW for a few reasons. I don’t particularly care for the class either but it has some visible strengths for a casual player in WvW.

1. A MS signet – straightforward, getting around and keeping up without relying on other players for swiftness.
2. Low risk gameplay – you can join a zerg as a random player and easily avoid personal danger thanks to long range and easy retreat skills.
3. Easy water field – people love spamming for water fields.
4. Possibly the easiest class for an inexperienced player to solo a camp with due to easy pulling with range and pet soaking all the damage.
5. Easy to run into towers past enemies with thanks to evades, 1/4 second condi removal and long duration stability.

Its the weekend so these types of people are out in numbers – you see them on every server. Such players are not the best but that they’re far from irrelevant – essentially the same for rangers.

That’s what I’m getting at they offer self support for the most part. That’s why it shocks me to see so many in a zerg.

I’m not trying to hate on Rangers but they are the most gibbed class in the game. My main was a Ranger in the first GW. Was the first character I rolled when I bought GW2 and we’ll I was very disappointed. They just aren’t viable currently in WvW hopefully A-net fixes ranger and makes me eat my words.

AR/DH I’m here to offer a service, “Dodge Mechanics 101”.

In the lesson pack I will teach you the forward dodge roll, the reverse dodge roll, and even the pesky and most uber dodge rolls of them all!!! the left and right roll! With this lesson you will be able to survive a 1 push! Yes I guarantee you will not die on the first push using this method!

PS: Other classes are available, Like my favorite. Rangers offer nothing in WvW 101. aka roll another character.

Just a quick question: Since TC is kicking our booties in points, why do they always run from open field fights, esp. when they outnumber the Mag groups? It’s frustrating to see 40+ TCs run into a Tower, away from 20~ Mags chasing them.

Every server has it’s runners that’s a fact, I’ve seen SoS ,Mag and TC do it. It is frustrating though I’ll give you that.

^ You should really turn on area loot and rebind the key to something that isn’t ‘REVIVE THAT GUY’

I put my revive that key to z… I hardly need to use it, I did put AoE loot to f for all the loots

My revive key is on MB1. AOE loot is shift, cntrl, alt F-11.

My revive key is forever just plain old ‘F’. My aoe loot key used to be ‘alt+f4’ – but it used to crash my game a lot… so I just don’t pick up my lootbags anymore.

If it was a skilled group it wouldn’t need to run 30-35 people deep.

Nor should anyone in their right mind say they’re “skilled” and gloat about it 35 v 23. If it were the other way around. sure!! that would show skill. Ark is good no doubt about it, I’ve never said any of you were unskilled or bad. So why drop to insulting a guild you had outnumbered, yet continued coming at you with lopsided numbers?

I totally agree, Perplex is a flavor of the month rune for easy mode, It needs a nerf. I don’t mind coming across a perplex user though, in roaming situations on warrior they aren’t to hard to counter.

I’m just complaining so it won’t be so one sided by mid week! I mean I could just dig up old Mag match-up threads and show you what complaining is, But I’m sure you’re well aware. Yeah, nice!!!! number count was around an hour ago when we asked but w/e any excuse is a good one I assume.

LOL – Our guild is running 12-15 people – your blobs have forced us to party up with one other guild that runs about 15-20…. l2count.

Learn not to be a server doorknob, besides that, it’s more than 15 inc/ark. Clearly all the server jumping has taken it’s toll on you.

Just don’t QQ about blobs when you use 40+ to run over 23.
