yeah a lot of hats do it…I just see it as your character puts all their hair up in the hat.

as they said there was only 1 one time event, I’m sure this will repeat.

I was able to loot the chest again after going from overflow to the normal server, and all I got was 1 piece of candy corn…I’m thinking this isn’t an event to farm (unless you want more hats on other characters).

have to say I’ve loved it up until this last part…to me I would have rather this been part 3 and part 3 be part 4…it seems like a step down to go from killing him to just doing mad king says with no reward (for repeats).

They aren’t soulbound. And I don’t think ANet will be able to place them in your inventory. Your other options could be:

1) beat the puzzle again on a different toon (of the same armor type)
2) farm the Ascent to Madness mini dungeon as the chest can drop them.
3) buy a pair off the trade house

At this point these may be your best options.

they very very much are soulbound…I have a pair I haven’t worn in my inventory and am 100% they are soulbound.

I believe the green tonics you can get out of the mad king’s chest aren’t included in the endless tonic. That includes the zombie and other skeleton form.

I think that having it on /say is ridiculous in itself. Yes moderate the map channel, but /say shouldn’t be regulated the same way.

I did it 2 times in map and 2 times /say and now I can’t say anything for the last 11 minutes. How long does this thing last?

My main problem with using transmutation stones now is that if I cover up my current skin it’s lost, and I’d have to go through the trouble of getting that item all over again (for me, 40k karma is a lot just to reskin). So if I’m understanding this correctly, this doesn’t answer that problem. I would just end up destroying my exotic if I wanted to remove the skin.

ah I’m at about 80%…and it’s going so slowly…I’m too excited about this

Most of my friends played in beta, and have had the game since the start. The great thing about GW, is with no monthly fee, you can play when you want. So I’m the only current 80 in my group of friends. I really don’t feel I deserve any extras just because I’ve played more on one character than the rest, and I love anet for realizing that just because someone hits an arbitrary number, they don’t have to have extra stuff thrown at them. Down scaling has removed the need for this, and I would be pretty sad if I couldn’t do these holiday events with my friends.

my bunny was “friendly bunny” and he went around fighting things…I got bored watching him kill the mobs in the area so I left him to die (I assumed by the damage he took)

*uh, it appears your second bunny is “friendly bunny” too unless the first one got some sort of weird name change

I’ve actually gotten a key in the past few days quite a few times from area completion. I just got one for finishing Wayfarer’s Foothills in fact.

come ooooooooooooooon…change it to one of the communing things or something. This is beyond aggravating have the last skill point on the map be bugged for so long. You were supposed to have fixed these I thought.
