I’m guessing the character that did it last year, isn’t getting the mask this year.
I asked in chat before I reported this to check if other people who did it last year got it, and people said they did. Taking their word on it though because more than one person said so.
*went in on a character I didn’t think did it last year, and did indeed get it, so this seems to be true!

Did every emote. First time. No mask came from the chest, only 25 trick or treat bags.
I’ve gotten credit for 1 and I’ve never gotten on any seige. I feel like it’s just really buggy atm.
you don’t even have to kill him..just be there and hit a mob. easiest daily ever.
seems like server lag problems are everywhere right now…Teq fight, WvW, Labyrinth, and dungeons….something is really wrong with the game right now.
Would love an invite
1 finisher = 5 charges…so 5 of them gives you 25.
yeah I can’t get passed the way his face looks. He’d probably be a really awesome character if it weren’t for how ridiculous he looks.
I don’t see why this wasn’t made once per character as last year’s was. It’s account bound (heck make it soulbound on acquire). I hardly see any harm in that.
feel like the animation takes far too long…a quick creepy jack in the box dude coming out would be fine, but this is too long. Was considering getting it, but the video has made me reconsider.
Make two paths and split the content. Each path being half as long as the current dungeon. So we don’t have to spend 2-4 hours doing one path.
It kinda sounds like you’re asking for less content. I would personally disagree with this if that were the case. Short dungeons are not fun.
It’s not less content, it’s more conveniently sized for people who have less time. Have a choice to continue to the next part and it’s the same thing.
It’s about choice. There are other content in the game that people will limited time can do. World Bosses like the Shadow Behemoth is still easy, and can be killed in 5~ minutes. CoF path 1 is still one of the quickest dungeons, so that’s also an option.
I don’t see what the problem would be with have MORE choice. There’s no downside to splitting it in two, and it would benefit a lot of people.
Cmon guys tribulation mode doesn’t take THAT long to complete..
Oh wait, this is the wrong forum.
It’s new content. It will take 2-3 months for the average pug population to be comfortable with the dungeon. For comparison, I’d say someone that takes 45 min to do arah p3 could probably finish this within an hour once strats are common knowledge.
They’d take the same amount of time to do the dungeon in 2 parts as well. I still don’t see the downside.
You guys are missing the point entirely. No one is going into “experience only” groups and complaining. I joined a group as soon as the content was open and had this problem. It was ALL of our first time and yet I still got people cussing and dissing other people in the group.

I don’t do dungeons much because I hate feeling bad if I’m not playing on other people’s level. I decided to do this path because it’s new for everyone. Did it pretty much as soon as it came out. Took us three hours in total, and I was fine with that (it’s new and we’re learning), but as soon as it was over two of the people were extremely belligerent about how long it took and calling names. There are some pretty disgusting people out there, but I guess that’s what happens when you pug…
I just spent the gems for the 5 dyes and didn’t realize that it was an RNG…I thought it was 25 new colors. The best I got was an uncommon dye that has been in the game since the beginning. Color me sad.
Same thing happened with F&F dyes… and happens all the time IRL. People have a tendency to just skim over text instead of actually reading it, and it doesn’t always say what they think it says.
Way back when the F&F dyes came out I read the description and went “pay $12 for a bunch of dyes only to find out I could buy them on the TP for under 20 silver? Nooooooooope!” and never looked back.
I read over the description a few times. The way I read it was wrong. I thought it was 25 new dyes with 6 sort of elite dyes you had a chance at. I don’t understand why they don’t just add the deathly dyes to the regular dye packs as a chance to drop while the event goes on instead of confusing people like this.

there’s only ever like 5 people on maguuma doing the event…would be nice to get help
invite please, so want to get a kill in before reset
Bg got him again..nice job guys. Having a leader to direct is pretty important.
If you’re upset about not getting rewarded, don’t use the turret? what’s the problem? It’s also easily solved if you switched between people halfway through….or get off the turret during the lazer phase…
I worked on Teq for about 12 hours yesterday and about 10 hours so far today. Please explain how someone like me (who is guesting) is leeching off other people?
would be nice if one minute before there was a ready check sort of timer that made sure the person was there, and if it’s not clicked within a minute you get booted
You can guest and be just as much a part of the community as people who’s main server is there. Like I said earlier, I pretty much permanently guest because my main server lacks a community. It’s new content, of course there will be queues. If you chose a good server, good for you, but you really aren’t any more entitled to be playing on it than anyone else.
what makes a guest different than someone on the server? nothing. I’ve guested since the start because my server doesn’t do anything. If transfers didn’t cost 1700 gems I’d have transferred already. Silly to act like you deserve it more because you were lucky enough to have chosen a good server.
I was part of that and then I updated and now I’m stuck in overflow…have been trying forever…how frustrating.
I feel like if there was one more set of 3 turrets we’d be in a lot better position. Especially considering some people hop in and then by the time the even starts they’re afk ~_~
There was a mail sent that had “story” in it
1) All turret people need to be in a party who has the dragon as its marked target, keeping that thing targeted with so much else going on was impossible on my own, and I missed many shots with skill #2.
you can lock target without being in a group now, just to help those that don’t know this yet
Maguuma has yet to pass 75% closest was 3rd try and things is getting down hill from there, less and less people is willing to do this event now
I’ve stopped doing events on Maguuma…it’s my home server, but if I ever want to get anything done, I guest on better servers.
In my experience a group rez of a dead person takes only a few seconds. I feel that it is selfish for large groups not rez. And I feel bad when I’m playing with a lot of people behaving that way. If someone goes down near me I’ll try and rez. And I really don’t care if I’m the only one.
If someone doesn’t run back and waits for rez, they’re taking out more dps/heals/support than if you just ran back. It’s selfish of the person not to run back.
There’s a difference between downed and dead. No one is saying not to help downed.

She must be related to Derek Zoolander, she can only turn left. cute
W2-Z2: No comment – it’s a meh zone, long and boring, with cheap traps and forced deaths or potion use (trib. cloud loves us..). After the patch, I’d say I hate this zone the most – can’t play with people who are new to the zone without having to assist through the death-checkpoint spam.
The tribulation cloud at the top of that one structure where you push the blocks to get on the trampoline made me want to quit. If I could have just pushed one block once before he pushed me off the side, I would have been alright, but I kept running up only to be pushed right back off. Infuriating.
Master of Baubles World 1 Z3 still bugged?

I’m having the same problem. No idea what I’m doing wrong.
There are some jumping stone parts I’ve not been able to do without a dodge jump. I’m sure it’s down to lag or whatnot, as I tried to avoid using dodge jump myself, but was just not able to get past some of the rocks.
Could use help with doctor of Baubles

I’ve followed two different guides, have tried on both normal and infantile mode, and still I can’t get this last achievement to complete the meta. Is there a hidden bauble that’s not in guides somewhere? I’m at a loss here. I’ve followed the guides as meticulously as I can (pausing and going, pausing and going, etc). This achievement is supposed to be working right?
*I just realized I said Doctor of Baubles when I meant Master of Baubles! level 1-3
Could someone let me know if the Storm Wizard warhorn does the noises like the Toad one does?
I had tons of fun doing entire W2Z3 trib map,its pretty much how I expected tribulation to be and it didn’t feel grindy like other maps, or like it was some college students programming project.
i hated up to about the 1st checkpoint. doing pure jumping puzzles in black-on-black is not my idea of interesting. i had to change my monitor settings to make the first round-the-corner jump because you absolutely need visual cues for it and arent provided any while carrying a balloon. at least you get the benefit of the torch after the 1st cloud flag.
if you change the gamma in game you can see things, but like I said earlier you can only do it in fullscreen (not windowed). Which is pretty annoying when you’re trying to follow a guide like I was.
I was finally able to do this a little while ago after working on the level for a few hours…then I went to maximize my screen (because you can’t change gamma in windowed) and closed out gw instead. I can’t tell you how sad I am right now.
Tribulation Mode - World 2, Zone 2 Bug?

you can press forward and get out of it every other time…it’s annoying though
The Glove is a major key item in the first place. Just finding the Eagle requires you to use the Glove, so would it not occur to you then that “hmm maybe we should get me the glove first since I’ll probably need it later”. They put the block there because that’s good design; can’t pass without the item because you need it. I wish they would add more party-wide item gates because riding the coattails of another player’s items is my biggest gripe with SAB.
If I find an obstacle that requires an item, instead of relying on someone else, I’ll go find the item since it’s going to be needed again in the future (like with the Toad Dojo Bauble, forgot I could even do that).
I’ve actually run into this problem in a group where people killed the glove guy (unbeknownst to me) and I ended up ported to the next checkpoint. Then at the end was surprised to find I needed an upgrade that I had no idea how to get. I think it’s a bit of a problem to require the whole group to have the item when you can easily find yourself skipping it.
Clock tower brought me back to something from Mario, which I really loved. Like Mario, once you got it, it was a lot easier to do. Some of the most fun I’ve had in GW yet. Can’t wait for winter festivities.
At the end of the day, this is a game, and you shouldn’t revolve your life around it. Stuff happens that you can’t prevent, and you’re going to miss things, but this is a game. It should not be changed because somewhere there’s a storm knocking out power. Nothing would ever happen if they did that.
forge seems to accept all costume clothing (including items from the mad king costume)…I’ve not put any of it in, but I’d assumed it would work just like any other piece of armor in it and give you the same quality item in return.
it’s halloween…it’s supposed to be “dark”
I’ve bought two outfits, the witch and the mad king..those two alone take up a bag. I don’t see how people will be able to keep enough space for these costumes when they come in 5 pieces. We need a vendor!
with the exception of the first mail, all of them were sent on the first day for the respective phases….I don’t know what your beef is.
I received 1 candy corn when I switched from overflow to the regular server
