It has been said before, and I’ll say it again:

SoR is a community. We have slowly and steadily grown over the last six months.

We are friends here. While your guilds are blaming each other and plagued with in-fighting, we are laughing… even if we lose… even if our buddies in Choo screw up in EB for a night or FEAR doesn’t understand the concept of PTV gear. We don’t place blame; we queue up and help. Some probably see the previous statement as a snide comment, unaware of the laughter it will cause.

Sure, we’ll get frustrated. Sure, we’ll rage… but we blame ourselves before blaming another.

It doesn’t matter what guild you’re in; Choo, CDS, FEAR, TW, SAHP, HIRE…. and so many more. We all get along. We all know and trust each other. We all collaborate, coordinate, and conspire together. We are not enemies, we are friends.

See, we play to win, but we don’t care too much about what tier or slot we’re in. Sure, we want to be top dog… but ultimately we’re content to play for 7 hours, wipe once or never, and thrash JQ and Blackgate until y’all start kicking back 1s and 4s for wxp. For us, we win every night. At the end of the week we feel like we have won, we don’t feel like we came in second or third.

We have lost major leaders; from Leader Mara to Miasmic Spiritsong, some of our most beloved commanders have left the game. New leaders have risen to take their place, new guilds have formed from the ashes of the fallen, and our community has endured, grown, and even thrived.

I get the distinct impression that JQ and Blackgate (especially Blackgate) don’t play like this, don’t have the attitude, the community, or the patience.

Quite frankly, I pity you. Every night I log on and have absolute certainty of laughing until I cry, gaining 200-300 badges, and being part of an amazing community of hundreds of people from around the world.

Blackgate, in all seriousness, you need to drop down a tier or two and regroup. We don’t want any of your guilds, we want you to galvanize as a server. Form a real community, work with each other to develop strategies, lose the kitten-talking fairweathers and come back.

We’ll be waiting.

If you don’t think the JQ community is a strong one then thats your first mistake. Jq is the longest active server in Tier1, and you have to a strong community to get there. It does not mater what guilds you have or how stacked you have to have that base on which guilds work well togethor and the others on map.

Amazing fights for JQBL bay early today! Want to give props to the guilds defending that you guys did one hell of a job for awhile, but it had to come to a end.

HzH fielded an all time high of 34 tonight on reset! Not as impressive as 90 but hey we growing. Great fights on BGBL vs ICoa and FEAR!

For those wondering why JQ is taking a beating at the moment, and have been all day. Someone posted above me basically exactly what is happening. JQ server thought these were easy wins and we had it in the bag. We have hit a slump today, all of us on JQ know that. However, this will not effect us in the days and or weeks to come. We let our confidence and security get the best fo us (or the most of us). I do not think this will carry on the next couple days. Why? Because we are JQ say what you would like about us you trolls out there, but we worked hard to get where we are and the position we were put in. And I don’t think any guild on this server is going to let that fall apart. I will see you guys on the battelfield!

To sum up all of this thread. Everyone thinks JQ PvDoors, think what you want because we obviously can’t change your mind. Think of it this way, don’t like being PvDoored? FIX IT go recruit! Is it our fault that you guys have nobody on at a certain time? Of course not. As for PRX them leaving has a impact, but it will not be a big enough impact to bring us down. We are JQ no matter what anybody says we will play to have fun. JQ is built off guilds that work togethor and our commanders working with the militia making everyone better everyday. I wish nothing but the best for PRX on to the next game or whever they decide to go. Keep up the great work JQ and every other server, its always a blast to play you guys in WvW no matter what guild you are from!

Great fun in BG BL tonight on reset, got 5 rares and 1 exotic doing havok work instead of ZergvZerg. Gotta give it too Sor though, [FEAR] + [CDS] + [Hel] was a tough bunch with [ICOA] + [LOTD] knocking on hills constantly. That north camp though, [LOTD] had on lock down haha!

It was refreshing too give up hills for a bit so we can just go do stuff away from defense, sadly a lot of the EST members had too call it a night and give the map away instead of losing sleep. I find being serious after 12 am PST isnt’ worth it, hell i don’t know how you EST folks stay up till 9pm PST isn’t it like midnight over there? haha!

But thanks for the fun [CDS] we couldn’t defend your bay from yourself at Outer south bay before we called it a night. Had a blast!

p.s. – JQ had the best NA prime time PPT again this week *boo yah! Props to the EB team!

============ We were formed around 5 years ago in GW1 on the principal of having fun. We were the #1 alliance in GW1 for 2-3years. After transfering over to GW2 we adapted to JQ with alot of our GW1 friends. [HzH] Is a heavy guild in WvW and PvE. Hosting WvW guild groups/pushes and guild bounties and events. ============

============ As our WvW statues goes we are becomming one of the fastest growing WvW guilds on JQ atm. We usually field 25-30 when asked on a daily basis. We form with 4 commanders, and respect them all. We do usually do guild colors on reset night it is not req'd but it is a fun little thing we like to do. We have been on JQ since beta and we dont ever plan to leave no matter what the score is. We will fight everday just for the fun of it while getting things done for the server. ============

============ We do a ton of dungeons,bounties,temple clears,and random PvE events as a guild. As a guild we are always busy if we are not in WvW we are having fun in PvE. ============

Great fights on SoSBL! Was great going up against Choo and OnS, I think AoS,HzH,Aco and BPA did well. Now time to take that SoS garri!

@SmokeyNYY.7841. Honestly what JQ did was tactical. They knew SoS would keep going back so we went for the tactical way and took towers. We didnt give up we moved our forces to a diffrent location. So if giving up is being tactical then you may want to rething about Tier 1

Great fights last night on EB! as one of the commanders that lead last night on EB, I must say it is always a blast facing some TSYM. Except for you guys constantly putting up trebs to hit SM from overlooks. Great fight and keep up the good work all.

This all comes down to what you think is powerfull in WvW. You can be powerfull in many aspects of WvW for example…Defence, offence,both ect.

Just out of the Tier1 servers.
The best defencive guild is AoS. I have ran with them several times and they always do what they can with they numbers they have and manage to defend.

As for offencive in Tier1, I would say its really close between SF and Choo.

Granted there are probably guilds out there that are better but im just listing my opinons for the best guilds in Tier 1.

We do not mind that people PvE in the guild a little more than WvW.

In my opinon best guild on JQ would be Strike Force.

As for the strongest WvW guild, I would have to vote Red Guard very powerful guild they do very well. Other guilds that may come in as the next best(s) is PRX,SF,VoTF,and TSym. Just my personal opinon though.

After reading all of this just want to add on a couple of things. The fact that SoR (only server I have seen post from) is complaining about JQ’s numbers and coverage is sad. You say we PvDoor, is that our fault? If you guys had the numbers you would do aswell. All you guys are doing is complaining at times where we have the advantage. For the people say SoR has better NA primetime, at the end of the day it doesnt matter who has beter NA primtetime if you cant hold at oceanic time. To win WvW you need coverage, there is no doubt about it. So complaining about it is dumb lol. Instead of complaining please just go fix your coverage then show us that you are better.

Hey mate!! I just saw this post sorry may be a litle late to respond lol. We are [HzH] The Legacy of [HzH] we are a PvX guild growing everyday in WvW. We are not however a guild that will field 40+ on a map. We do have a strong force out everyday daily. With a nice side of of PvE for when we not in WvW. Great fights so far from EB in JQ….To bad we got double teamed and lost everything not to suprising but still. I just hope one day that BG will realize that they can push SoS on EB. Yes they finally did push SoS…when they had no other opponent. Either way JQ will keep fighting and go for 1st while dealing with BG aswell. @ Magiofdeath.2745, as a commander of HzH just wanted to say thanks. Its not every day we get thanked or noticed for some of the work we do. Hate to see you leave but I hope you have a good one

@Magiofdeath| Best server of all time? You may have gotten 1st more than anyone but you have not been in tier 1 longer than JQ or SBI. Best servers of all time are not determined by how many games you can win as quick as possible. Its about how many you can win over a long period of time. How long is your server willing to fight? You can call yourselves the best server ever, and I will not say JQ is because to be fair WvW will become become bigger. And more servers will come out of the shadows like SoS did. Bottom line, is best server….by all means if you think so. Just remember theres still a long way to go.

The 2v1 “theory” as I will call it, happens often. But I do not think it is ever planned. The best example is in EB ever server has a bad day in EB because the other 2 servers see the pushes and they push as one. Although it happens I don’t think it is ever planned or made official in anyway.

[HzH] Is located on Jade Quary server and has been since GW2 release. We are taking new,experienced,old,young, or any type of player that you are. We are currently recruiting for WvW players, but the guild does do PvE aswell.

Our groups normally run from 5pm-2am EST.
Having 15-20 people on in our groups during that time span.
We play more strategically than other guild do, due to not having the biggest numbers.
Multiple commanders on for every timezone.
Jade Quarry is also in Tier 1 of WvW.
