Just wanted to bring it up to everyone again, that one persons opinions on the forums do not represent the servers opinions. Also side note best of luck to WARD and Akitten SoR! Keep it classy guys it is a game.

Lol, so now the general message from BG is “play for fun”, or get more of your people to get out there. Nothing has changed on SoR, yet the BG whines have mysteriously vanished.

I wish Bg would make up it’s mind about SoR. I am willing to bet if SoR had an influx of transfers to match BG’s Sea/oceanic, there would be a wildfire of complaints, and accusations of “unbalancing the server”.

Seriously, just come up with a ruleset for any server that fights BG, so we can make sure things are “balanced”.

Balance is not easy to come by, SoR getting more SEA sure it would balance for those 2 servers. However lopsided for rest of servers in game, JQ needs 2 time zones if we get even 1 guild in those zones I think that would help with balance. Or perhaps TC gets some guilds fighting them right now has shown me a lot. Then again that’s how I see balance happening, some peoples opinions may be different. Just stating I am not trying to take away anything from SoR.

For all of JQ’s EU and Oceanics, I have said it multiple times but keep fighting! The coverage will come eventually.

To all of TC I am learning a lot from you guys and your server keep it up!

Last but not least FA, I have a lot of respect for you guys fighting everyday no matter what keep it up!

Let me correct you, RATS isn’t for to get new transfers it is a place where all the guilds get together a lot of members and guild lords merge in one and learn from each other and work together. I personally love the idea it brings everyone together. JQ may be last now but that does not bother most of us (not saying all of us there are those of course who like to win.) If JQ drops to T2 we will take it in consideration and we will improve. However even if we do well and TC does bad or vice versa we could still drop or go up. There is always that chance of us dropping even if we do well, not really our choice. Keep it classy please we are here to play a game and enjoy.

So with much respect to SoR you guys have SEA and you guys saying you need more is just insane in my opinion. So you guys got 2v1’d it happens to everyone, but you guys have SEA guilds. I am just going off what a SoR guys once said on the forums that your SEA guilds are PvX? And only sometimes show up to the battlefield? If I am wrong please correct me, however you complain about PvDoor when you have forces on, and when you don’kittens because those guilds don’t show up not our fault. I mean no disrespect to SoR guilds or SoR community. I am just saying what I am seeing/thinking.

SoR stacked on a 12k lead in less than 24 hrs. Now that is PvD

SoR can easily push to win any time they want while the other 2 servers have to actually stay up really late and put in twice as much work to try to keep up.

At least we all can agree that when SoR wins 1st for 5 weeks in a row and then all of a sudden gets 3rd place, that means they’re trying to get a new guild in…

At least you acknowledge that Bag Gate puts in overtime.

BG does put in over time & so does JQ, they do it because Sanctum of Recruiting keeps stacking time zones where they don’t need any more people in & are the main cause for NAT1’s imbalance.

JQ does not put in overtime we have talked to each other about it, and if we have to put in overtime 24/7 to win its not worth it the coverage will come.

So despite all of this talk, fact of the matter is we have no EU and we still only 14k down. Keep it classy, keep it fun. To all the trolls 4/10

There is a simple solution to JQ’s coverage problem. Hey JQ! If your forum warriors would stop spending so much time on the forums kittening, and instead actively improving and providing a community guilds would be more than happy to join, you guys would probably get more guilds coming over. There must be something kittening wrong with your server if all the guilds are constantly going to SOR or BG. JQ should ask itself why they are being passed over for SOR and BG.

So what you saying is that SoR and BG don’t have forum warriors? lol Our forum warriors actually do interact and help the server.

HOD before the game was released the “titan alliance” set about to absorb guilds to cover all timezones for wvw pretty much making it so noone had a shot against them

JQ got alot of xfers to them when HOD broke up

SBI then recruited a few more guilds and there sea pushed well into EU

SOS then got alot of the bg transfers that left the server after there first drop outa t1 mix that with the ET guilds and Some hod FOE from et PRX hod

JQ then went ona mass recruit to beat sos

BG followed there example and mass recruited that with them having the only eu plus late sea pushing the eu time zone

SOR then followed to Counter BG’s sea/eu coverage

and that covers t1, altho for the most part t1 for the pass month has been the closes its ever been

now cut the bullkitten crying out JQ u have had ur shot twice now to change the state of t1 and u didnt. BG ur Sea along with ur EU pushed into that eu timzone ticking for 400-500 many times and now ur upset ppl recruit to counter ur PUshes ???

T1 has always been a tier of recruit to counter wut the other server is doing. JQ recruited to counter sos. BG then recruited SEA to counter JQ and seeing Bg had EU it made them Crazy strong. SOR then countered this by recruiting EU coverage

my guess is that in the coming weeks/months JQ or bg will mass recruit to counter SOR or one will implode(which i doubt) and TC or DB will get the bulk of there numbers creating another t1 server

Now regarding SoS I am not sure why everyone thinks we mass recruited we got 2 guilds at NA prime….we still had no EU like they did. At the time SOS was “dissolving” I’ll say (no offence meant.) So that had some play in how we became this “power server” So I suggest you cut the bull kitten before you start targeting servers. So..what happened to JQ? For the past few weeks, during Asian timezone from 9-12 pm (GMT+8), Most of the time, we got outmanned buff on 2 BLs ; only 1 BL (mostly JQ BL) and EB that have enough population to face our opponents.

I thought we used to have more population than this?

No idea but based on how close the scores have been from reset night Friday going into Sunday. It seems JQ for those listed timezones and others come out strong for the first few days after reset then tapers off. This has been the trend for the past month or so….

Who knows?

Also based on a post from earlier in this thread, PRO from BG transferred off and are now on JQ? If that’s true, should help JQ further as PRO seem to be active participants of wvw.

I think its more of the fact that during the weekend more players can log on during Oceanic/EU time zones so that prevents us from ticking terribly low.

I think the reason it seems like SoR has more people is because they’re just generally more coordinated than BG. They have everyone going after one thing at the same time or they’ll be coordinating hits on several objectives at the same time so it feels like a coverage thing.

I’m starting to notice this more which is why I asked in my previous post hoping some SoR players would be willing to be more open about their server.

While I don’t agree with their posters or their current recruitment stance, I was being sincere when I said as a server, SoR seems leaps and bounds ahead of JQ and BG as far as organization goes.

I mean, sure if you asked me 2-3 weeks ago who was the smallest server, it could be said it was SoR, but now I don’t know if they are the smallest, with a population that seems improved and their already stronger than most organization, it’s becoming quite obvious that BG and JQ aren’t equipped. I mean we admittedly 2v1’d you guys from the get go this match but we simply can’t keep up.

As far as I am concerned we did not admittedly 2v1 SoR at all. We hit who we wanted when we wanted to do.

I’m a member of BT, not an officer or spokesman but my personal take is this:

First, BT has a total of around 104 members in the guild. Typically on a given weeknight, we run between 25-40, depending upon the day and attendance. Would say 30-35 is a more accurate daily estimate though with summer being here, I’d expect that to drop.

As someone pointed our previously, we prefer to run on our own due to our own theory crafting, build management and strategies. On most nights we tend to stay on our own Teamspeak to try and sticking to running BT only. We’ve publicly asked militia at times to join on another commander in the zone or even have a BT secondary commander break off to lead militia around on the map to make BG as a whole more effective in the zone.

We as a whole transferred to Tier 1 “for the fights” and certainly have not been disappointed by it. Guilds like SF, Choo, Agg (btw: welcome to tier 1), TSYM, HL, HzH, TW and others were what drove us to make the move. We did our homework and felt that in coming to BG, we would have the best fights against some pretty quality opponents. We have not been disappointed and hope that forum warriors aside, the guilds we are going up against haven’t either.

On a side note, our biggest surprise was facing some of these server zergs on maps, but we have been thankfully to be able to work with some great guilds like Icoa, HB, RISE, WM and others. The coordination with leadership/commanders of these guilds has been great and I’m thankful for being able to work with them in fighting these server zergs, or Voltron as we call them on TS when we see its 2-3 guilds blobbed together.

In terms of GvG, once again this is my personal opinion but I’m just not a fan. Ivfeel like GvG is a separate type of event outside of WvW. I feel a commander/guild’s strengths are better shown when adopting to situations and terrain on a field of battle rather than pre planning your group make ups and builds and then smashing heads behind the windmill (i know its a bad summary of what GvG is… trying to keep it small). I have nothing but respect for the folks that put in the time and effort to GvG and feel that it’s a travesty that Anet has not put something in place in an arena like atmosphere. For me though, I personally just feel that a strong commander is demonstrated more in regular WvW by adapting when they see a third force coming in at the last minute, using terrain to their advantage or simply adjusting on the fly to what they have.

Once again, this is all just my personal beliefs and not a reflection of BT’s officers or its forum warriors. I have nothing but respect for the guilds we’ve come up against (even with some few forum warriors doing the bulk of the talking) and am looking forward to the steady fights ahead.

Don’t even know how you can say that when BT doesn’t even GvG. Numbers play the biggest difference in open world combat. TW has proven itself in GvGs and has beaten every NA guild that dared GvG them. BT refuses to even GvG.

Remember anyone can run full map zergs.

Personally I have never seen BT run with under 40 people, and the majority of the time their zerg is 50-60+

Think most of JQ will agree with me when I say BT runs full map zergs. Hell, I the 2-3 BG folks that transferred to SoR a week ago have told me when they ran with BT it was always 40 minimum. I’m not saying BT isn’t skilled, I’m saying it’s hard to wipe when you have a full map zerg behind you against smaller groups.

Every encounter I have lead with HzH vs BT they have had even numbers and proven their skill. We win some we lose some, that’s just when I lead though and I have faced BT a lot.

BT won’t fight with equal numbers, there is a reason that they always deny GvG’s Has to be a Full BL or they won’t leave PK.

I will prove you wrong there…HzH fought BT on reset night with very even numbers we lost some and won some. So yea they do fight with even numbers that may not be case all the time but to be honest no one can fight with even numbers at all times.

I’m seriously confused by what you mean lol. We have the potential to tick 400 sure, that would also require BG to never hit us and we PvDoor everything SoR has… Last I checked no one likes to be Pvdoored. We don’t cry about low ppt because when we have a force on NA/SEA/Little Oceanic we always do the best we can and it shows in ppt 9/10. I love our SEA because they get there fights in while helping our NA by breaking WP’s. Thanks for trying to raise a argument against our SEA….keep it classy and keep the fights going!

Adding a Line of Sight Machanic to the Ac’s will solve this issue straight foward, with out the use of un-supporting the software. Although till that day comes they need to be banning people for exploiting the use of it.

LOL your standing right by the door, this is your defense now try standing around the corner like which was in the video, better yet try standing right against the tower face and aiming a AC into the courtyard with out it.

Here is a simple question
Is the Location of many screen shots and videos of the FEAR commander using an arrow cart possiable without eyefinity?

If the answer is NO, then you need to read Arena Nets policy on Exploits and how the define them. After you read it you will find that this is considered an exploit.

If your answer is yes please provide Screen shots or videos of this being possiable without Eyefinity.

An easy fix to this would be add Line of sight to the Arrowcarts. With this added in Eyefinity or not AC’s will not be allowed to be fired through stone or wood walls. Then again the longer Arena Net decideds to do nothing about it the more people will just simply stop playing the game. I mean WvW is becoming a bit dull anyhow with the same old maps. Now there is an obvious Exploit they are doing nothing about, and to justify it by saying it is possiable with this software is ridiculous when only 3 % if that has and uses it of the total population of players that play GW2.

I mean to all the SoR and other players that defend this exploit and say it is not need I remind you of the mass perma ban that went out in Month 2 of this game.

Karma Vendors sold yellow level 80 weapons for 45 Karma ( maybe 70 but below 100 karma ). Players bought the weapons and used the mystic forge to make them into Exotics. Now the yellows sold for 2 silver a piece ( to the vendor and 50 copper is that on the TP )the exotics sold for 45 silver to the Vendors and 2 to 5 gold on the TP. This was an oversight of Arena Net, there was absolutly no player fault here, yet 4k players got a perma Ban unless they openly apologized on the fourms for exploting. Question is why has Arena Net not done anything about this, Maybe it is becuase the Dev’s all play on SoR ( not sure what guild). Although I will say the more people that constaintly report this as a bug and a violation to the game the faster something will be done.

I personally hope anyone taking advatage of this exploit is perma banned be it BG members or JQ or SoR or ET. I run Eyefinity with 3 monitors but I will not use this exploit as I know I can not achiev this with out the use of the program. Then again I apparently am just a more good sportsman like player apparently.

Fair play is fair play, for every player on SoR running zoom hack there’s a player on Bg and JQ also running it.

The difference is that we just deal with it while you complain about it, you know just like everything else in the match up.

Name one JQ guild that has done so, we have told everyone on server it is not allowed no matter what it is even part of our community forums lol. Considering this is SOR’s reasoning for doing so is just shameful, I have no beef with SOR but you cant blame JQ on something JQ never does and if you see us do so and that person is part of a guild let us know. Btw just by my interpretations but it seems you think zoom hacking is ok if you don’t complain about it…either way keep it classy.

I do and they do not, everytime they put AC’s on the corner of the gate it is to hit AC;s above where others AC’s cannot. Why? Because ATM has guys with Increased radius to just aim up and it hits your AC’s….Little different then having a AC on outside of lords way to north and firing inside but nice try.
