I downed the ice dragon twice last night, both times I was thinking how epic the fight was lol Your skyrim though is pretty cool though.

Trinity is never needed in this game. People with old mind set on MMO’s still think it does. To user the Trinity is to go back to the boring days of …. WOW. “LF tank, 2dps and healer”. That is a pain. Now with GW2 you can run a dungeon with what ever makeup you want. If you know how to play your class you always finish and have a good time.

Nothing annoys me more then seeing LFG for dungeon and they are requesting “holy trinity” setup. Seems they spent 60 bucks and missed the point of the game.

Raiding would ruin the whole idea of this game. They have big world events such as the ice dragon that everyone comes in and helps. That is as close to a raid in this game that i want. Nothing was worse than in wow having to join a big guild just to raid so you could see the content. Then guilds telling you you can’t go because we have enough “DPS” or our guild has two “tanks” we don’t need anymore.

I hated raids since they game out with WOW.

GW2 with no raids is the best way to go.

I agree with this. PvE changes should not effect PvP changes.

your not being kicked, your friends are making you change, stand your ground and get new friends. Necro’s are great in spvp, i am also 1st or 2nd.

Also if they keep whispering to you to change that could be considered harassment lol something to think about to not get banned.

When i go join up with my brother and play some sPvP matches together, i will be happy.

one main at 80, have trouble keeping 2g with travel and repairs, the cost of day to day stuff is to high.

I think game of the year is specific to genre, and for mmo’s right now this is my goty

The high cost are an incentive to get you to cash in on the cash shop’s gems.

The game isn’t pay to play so get your cash out and pay up, OP.

You shouldn’t be forced to use the shop. If you are then it is pay to win which is not what Anet wanted.

Looking For Dungeon finder needs added. I took my 2 hours to find a group for a dungeon last night. This is also and easy way to put in cross server play for dungeons to make sure it works before you open up guesting.

Yea you get put at the level the zone is. So if im 80 in a lvl 5 so it down levels me to 5 so content is same level. You can tell people are down leveled by the down arrow by there level

Cool idea, not sure if i would like it. My minions are taking the dmg for me if they roll the mob may come and attack me next.

It has nothing to do with people leaving the game lol. What happened was WvWvW. Some servers win all the time. Most people left other servers to go to the WvWvW server thats winning.

Also overflow only happened it was launched. Now everyone is spread out. I still see tons of people in all events i do on all levels.

80 still loving it, started a few alts with different races to see those stories. So much still to do on my 80 and achievements to get. Love it

Still post about endgame where it seems people do not know how GW works.

I’ll add some history. Government use to have heavy regulation on the banks in the US to control economic growth and to make sure things like the Great Depression didn’t happen again. 10ish year’s ago we moved to remove those regulations so the banks could do for of what they wanted and sell and buy assets as they see fit. Now US is in economic trouble again because of the lack of regulation.

Throwing money in the pool or lowering prices is not always the best way to fix things or stir the economy. Yellows selling right now on my server for 5-15G. I feel that is too high see how much money you can really make. So over time the market price for yellow’s will come down if everyone thinks the same. Eventually it will stable out to the appropriate selling price for how much money is really in the world.

Main problem is users in GW2 are selling items at other MMO prices. Users need to bring down their prices in line with the games economy. A weapon for 30-80G is ridiculous. 5-10G is hard to come by and sounds more in line with how hard it is to get money.

Close to same build. What you want to do is rotate staff with your dmg set of weapons. I use scepter/horn. This allows you to drop signs and do some direct dmg. Use wells to keep your minions up and try to group people together before using putrid explosion.

Granted its not as consistent dmg as a condition build, but if your minions are doing their job and you use putrid explosion right your be ok.

I didn’t read Minions not attack targets you are attacking. I may have missed it but its a big problem. They either run off and attack something else or just stand there sometimes.

Minions need to attack the target you have targeted always. That would be nice. Instead they stand there or run off to attack something else lol

With it being just as hard to get money in GW2 as it was in the launch of GW1 i think waypoints cost to much. Max of 20 silver to travel some where is ridiculous. I understand you need a money sink but with how hard it is for the average player to get money, your fee’s are too high.

ANet has all ready said all build should be viable all the time. If you force Warriors into Tank roles then its the “Trinity” all over again. It is good though to bring at least one skill to help a group in a group situation.

Every time i get on WvW there is someone running the show all ready. Why would I try and change the plan that everyone is all ready following. If no one is leading then sure take up the role but other wise i just follow the army.

Peak hours are dependent on the severs location. So i am not sure if this works. Like two nights ago my server had 100s on and we were capping everything, but last night no one was on so I think its a mixed barrel.

I can see where server alliance hurt the game. The only people that say it doesn’t are the ones winning.

I don’t see to much of this where my server is though.

On a good note every two weeks server will be matched with other servers. So the alliance will only last for two weeks.

I play a necro.

I hold points better than most classes i see in sPvP.
I can 1v5 a group long enough for help and keep a point.
I can 1v1 people no matter what the class.
I play a MM.
I am a necro, and the class works fine. I wouldn’t mind a small buff of course

WvW has no join as party but you can party up once in.
sPvP you can join as a team but there is no guarantee your be on the same team. This is working as they intended from what i have read to avoid pre-mades steam rolling.

WvW needs join as team.
sPvP needs an option where you can play pre-mades or not. Its not fun to not be able to sPvP with your friends on the same team, but when I play solo I would like to not be playing a pre-made.

I’m a MM necro and I can take out 2v1 and 3v1 long enough for help to come. I am a support/point holding class. I am not built to take down characters fast. I play to my strengths. Not being able to kill all 3 in a 3v1 doesn’t mean its broke.

best pvp in an MMO, but i would like to join sPvP with a pre-made instead of only being able to in tourneys.

I read too that cap was 350, so I think you getting 750 is a bug. May be wrong, but there is a cap.

We are small right now. It was founded by my self, my brother, and a friend. We have just recruited 3 more people who all joined for the family friendly aspect as well. Currently our levels are pretty spread out. I am at lvl 70 and our lowest level is around 5.

We are very helpful. If you ever need anything or help with anything you just need to ask. We will be doing some group WvW / sPvP once there is enough to do it. Also we will do guild dungeon runs once we have enough in the range to do it.

There are no requirements on participation in the guild. You can play as much or as little with the group as you want. As this is a casual guild, we don’t expect any time dedication. This is another aspect of us being family friendly. We do understand that we all have jobs and some of us kids outside in the real world.

You should upgrade your pc in RAM→GPU+Power Supply(if you don’t have enough power), CPU.

RAM: I tell everyone to go with 8GB. Ram is cheap now and 8GB gives your pc enough ram to do what it needs to do and plenty for you to play any games you want. If a game needs 4G and your OS uses 1.5G you all ready don’t have enough. You can see how much ram your os is using in the task manager (and a bunch of other programs)
GPU: Personally i don’t spend under $300 dollars on a GPU. This is so I am replacing it about ever 2+ years rather than every year. In the end you spend the same amount it just depends on your upfront cost needs.
CPU: If you have to replace this, more than likely you have to replace more parts and your almost at a new build time.

i7 3.2ghz
24 GB Ram
Sli Nvidia 570’s

Side note, even on my setup im seeing drops to 30 fps. GW2 has some optimization issues, and some nvidia driver issues.

Id love to hear a response to this. I didn’t know you could even do that.

I have the hood with the skull on the front. When I wear it half the hood is the color of my right ear (which is a dark brown). I will upload a picture of this tonight as well. It makes me sad since on my necro all i wanted was a hood and the skin i bugged.

I know that you guys have bigger issues at hand, but please add this to your list of things to fix after you get the big problems correct.
