Condition damage isn’t what it’s cracked up to be right now. Using level 80 gear stated for condition, my warrior’s bleed was doing 73 per tick. Without condition damage bonus, it was doing 46-50. I’d say go with vit or toughness for survivability.
Your ears stick out a tad too much and the eye color, that’s about it. Close enough though.
Ear sagging? They have a pill for that.
You hold up your shield and wait for them to blow all their init, then kill them.
Mixed heritage Mesmer by the name of Amaryllis Lucent. Or at least that’s what she tells people her name is…
So now that Zhaitan is “dead” and Orr cleansed, who will settle there? The land is perfectly viable aside from being covered in coral and giant stone rings. Those corpses everywhere will surely fertilize the ground. Will the humans stake a claim since Orr was populated by humans? Will the charr claim it since they were in the middle of conquering it when it exploded? Perhaps a multinational nation along the lines of Lions Arch? What are your opinions?
An Asura friend? You shouldn’t be playing with your food like that.
While Black Citadel is the Iron Legion capital, it always felt more like a city all three legions shared and technically it is the front lines, that’s why any active charr would be there. As for culture, yes, I would of liked to know more.
I always figured that Rytlock didn’t bother negotiating with the ghosts because he’s dealt with them all his life and knows they are quite insane and murderous. If their intent was to protect Ascalon, then why are they killing everything that comes near them including Ascalonian descendents?
Oh no, Quaggans aren’t innocent. They want you to think that while they’re secretly eating Asura children.
Clearly it’s all the Charr’s fault because they’re a war like race. Yes, let’s completely ignore how warlike humans were before the Charr made their move like when the humans attacked the Charr to claim Ascalon or when the human nations were at a full blown war against each other for the hell of it or when the humans kicked the centaur off their lands too or how the nobles of Kryta are trying to kill off the other nobles of Kryta in their political mindgames or how the people of Ebonhawke wanted to continue the war. Or how their most popular gods are that of war, lies and death. Totally peaceful and honest folk, them humans. Clearly innocent right?
I’m guessing that they eat members of rival krewes considering how violent and sociopathic they tend to be.
It doesn’t matter how long the buff lasts, you can still kill the supervisor with condition damage alone.
Eather provent people from loging when in combat
Being unable to log out would suck in those pve instances when the enemy refuses to untarget you even though you’re out of range and across the map.
A necromancer doing damage?! Clearly there is some sort of hack being deployed!
Why get the game if you don’t want to play it? All those items are specifically to avoid playing the game. So what’s the point, another notch on your belt?
The Seraph are very busy people and don’t have time to go running around everywhere just because there’s a terrible threat. They were probably tired too, and hot. All that armor must be hot in the afternoon sun. A good nap in the shade would fix that up…
Sound disappears and Only Beeping is heard, Then Crash follows.

There are several threads about this issue. It’s not hardware or driver related, it’s the game freaking out for some reason when a lot is happening on the screen at once. It happens across a range of sound cards, onboard and otherwise. The only solution is to not play wvwvw until it’s resolved. Kind of sucks.
I’ve having this as well. Always from the left side speakers during wvw zerg fights. Sometimes it’ll lock up a few minutes after sometimes I can play for hours with no game sound and just using winamp to cover for it. To note, no other programs are effected by this.
I get this as well when there’s a lot going on. So far it’s only happened in WvW and once during a claw of jormag fight.
Flame legion is more or less the exiled old regime after a change of leadership.
It can be a problem in some areas and in others it’s just amusing. A certain hut in the Hinterlands for example. I was playing an Asura engineer, set up all my turrets and watched as a Son of Svanir would pop, run up and get killed and not 10 seconds later, another one comes running up in a forever cycle. It could easily be abused as a farming spot and it’s not just there. These places are all over where the spawns are absurdly short. Dredge forts are a big offender of this.
Also the Charr like being self reliant and probably wouldn’t put much faith into a magical solution and would rather have a technological one. Like the containment units being built in Diessa Plateau.
They probably made the races use the same models so they could rapidly be identified in the heat of battle by the player. It’s good gameplay wise but not fluff wise.
None of that is as bad as the Charr death scream from jumping up and down.
You’d think that after undead became a problem the first time, everyone would switch to cremation rather then burying and hoping for the best.
I always assumed Jennah ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL over Logan with her secret Mesmer powers and that’s why Logan flips out any time it’s brought up. He can’t quite explain why he left so he has to fill in the blanks himself and it upsets him greatly.
It seems to me that the humans had every intent of wiping out the entire Charr race if they had the chance and the Charr were aware of this and weren’t going to stop until they felt safe. Look at it from a non human perspective. What does the Norn, Sylvari or Asura think of that war? Two races fighting to the death, both performing horrible atrocities, the searing, the foefire and the sinking of Orr, just to gain an upperhand and neither willing to stop until something worse came around. It became a racial issue, an old hate, and neither side was innocent.
I’ve had this problem too, during large battles only in WvW, sound cuts out, a low pulsing sound that continues until the game is restarted. It only seems to be coming from the left side speakers. All other sound sources continue to work like skype or music player. I do not crash afterwards and have played the game for 6 hours straight after such an occurrence with just music and the left side speakers turned off. It’s still an annoyance to not be able to hear anything. This does not occur in pve at all.
Further thinking about it, it may have something to do with attacking a fort as that’s when it has always happened.
