To slightly stick on topic, I think the Mag/Yaks post-season romance was wonderful to watch from afar. It was fun to read the match-up threads when they were paired together.

So it has come to our attention that some other servers feel we “Yaks” bring out the worst in them.

We see 30 page threads when ever we are involved. As I feel that being a member of the evil empire I should not care, I do.

With that being said what is your favorite moments against us at good old yaks-bend. The supply traps? The relentless defense? The arrow carts, defended by arrow carts, and other arrow carts?

Never played against Yak’s Bend but I enjoyed reading the SBI/Yak/Ebay thread. Quite frankly it was better than the ZDs drama during Season 1. And when EBay came in second, oh the forum tears lol

Do you guys think you’re a speacial snowflake because you optimaze your PPT play? We know what you guys do, and its extremely boring.

You dont just blob with baddies, you:
- Have mutiple 5 man ganking squads around bloodlust to cap and secure it, because this will get you loads of score from the constant fighting
-Have players willing to sit on towers/keep to scout, siege up and shoot anything that passes by
-Escort yaks en masse, play like a turttle most of the time
- If an open field fight is too difficult, set up siege
- “Map politics” lol

Instead of all that kitten you could be having fun just forgetting about the scoreboard and focus more on getting better at using your own character, syncronizing with your team. But nah winning matches is top leet skill amirite

Not sure when T2 became a breeding ground for crybabies who get mad when people don’t play exactly the way they like it. Nothing wrong with people who cap bloodlust, walk yaks, siege, scout and do whatever else you are crying about. WvW is team based effort. People do different things that add up to a collective effort, get over it. Pretty ridiculous that you think WvW you should solely be open field fights with no higher objective in the background. It’s like you rather play practice mode on Madden than Franchise.

Anyone looking to transfer JQ, please take notes. When they lose a match they point fingers at everyone but themselves. There were several times when we tried to push BG but JQ wouldn’t buzz off from our third. Don’t know what to tell you, learn to know what servers are what colors next time.

I’m starting to think that people don’t know what a real “2v1” is. TC/JQ double teaming SoR during leagues is one. SBI/Yak/EB is another. This current week is nothing in comparison to the hand holding in those match-ups. I know some folks on JQQ are upset but I assure you, I’ve fought more BG this week than JQ. Look on the bright side, you still get a gold medal this week

As for my add to the EU appreciation thread, I spent a few weeks on Piken last year and hated it. Lol, people told me that nobody blobbed and EU was a wonderland blah blah blah. Quite disappointed by seeing the same stuff I saw while I was in NA. The only plus was Piken had a nice and fun RP community. Even NA’s RP is behind EU’s formidable meta. TC still obsessed with noble RP :(

DDOS attacks is a valid reason. Living story is not. Both JQ and TC also have their fair share of PvE carebears. Like others have said, they’ll be back to business as usual once leagues start.

Back before league, FA people knew TC as tower huggers who always thought they were outnumbered. FA ran because TC wouldn’t come out of their towers to fight unless they had overwhelming numbers. I guess it comes from the months of Dolyak parade slaughters. FA conditioned TC to be wary of the open field so they wouldn’t venture out unless they were all blobbed up and could run over other groups. I remember when some friends transferred from FA to TC months and months ago to basically become the first true havoc group on TC, help show them how to unblob.

SoS is the new TC and TC is the new SoR. And we got mag buying kitten guilds too, gg balanced tier 1-3. Ironic that after that like 5+ page thread someone made about balancing the top tiers they have only become more imbalanced.

Wait for the SoS-Mag match-up to determine if SoS has a coverage advantage over T2 like TC did. The two servers might be balanced and maybe a few transfers to FA would make the tier completely perfect. It’s only been a week since TC left T2, let the dust settle abit before rushing to conclusions.

It’s a good tactic. You can also prevent it by leaving a few people to hunt down and chase the tapper. Kill him enough times and he’ll get tired. Unless he’s a Nike warrior, that’s when you’re out of luck

I’m going to be blunt here. TC’s fair weathers are off doing PvE, and SoS now has defensive numbers that make your daily glom rushes fail. This allows us to go to TCBL in numbers and attack multiple targets, making your PuG based defenses fail even harder, which makes your fair weathers disappear.

This is starting to get embarrassing for TC. The first loss of your T2 dominance in 10 months and suddenly you lose your minds.

That’s a lot of words just to explain that SoS is winning because of coverage.

Ever since January 23, it seems that Fort Aspenwood (FA) has lost a number of peeps. And since we don’t have much of a SEA presence, I’m guessing we lost mostly NA peeps. So I think we are going to drop a tier or even two unless we get some SEA presence. We still have a decent NA presence but we can REALLY use some SEA love!! We still have a few decent commanders and the “elitist” attitude isn’t too bad.

That’s desperate recruiting right there, lol. There is no way FA is dropping a tier though. You still have more coverage than SBI, Mag and Yak. Also, you still have the population to come in first this week.

It can if T1 guilds start to destack we can have 3 tiers of balanced servers. Just 2-3 guilds from JQ/BG talk to each other and pick DB/MAg respectively if you oceanic/NA. Start the process then go from there!

That would be ideal but its not likely to happen. Both like winning too much and I doubt they would self sabotage their server’s winning percentage for better fights. But like you said, it would be nice if it happened.

Over the weekend our keep in EGB was being camped by a thief in the ruins & a guardian at our water gate, among other classes, for hours. They would be there right when the timer was up contesting it over & over again so that we would have to run back from spawn giving them an unfair advantage. It’s bad enough they seem to be 2v1ing but camping our keep making the wp unusable for hours on end must surely be an exploit.

There is a section on that forum for people who want to be verified. Takes less than five minutes to do. Normally, TCBL and EB have someone online who can verify but if you’re waiting for a long time, I would just go to that site.
