Return of the gods maybe. So far there seems to be no reason for the gods to have lefdt only then to be connected with the elder dragons or to make the Human situation seem more dire.

Creating Risen (spoilers)

Killul.9685

When we arrive at Orr we are given the choice of destory an ark ship that is transporting corpses back so they be created into risen or destory the ossuary where the risen are being created. But later on when we trying to cleanse Orr the Norn shaman (sorry I can’t remember her name) dies and is instanly turned into a Risen. How does Zhaitan manage this when all his other Risen have undergone a ritual to become Risen.

In the Charr Flame Shaman father path : Rytlock’s “That was too much fun to stop now. Here – I’ll hold him up, you kill him again!”

Where does that come up? I chose to ambush the badguys at their lair to interrupt their ritual rather than warn the Citadel, so I guess that’s why I missed it?

It might be repeated but I didn’t do the flame shaman path and I remember that line. I believe it is from the last mission of the honourable soldier storyline.

I think the only siege of Divinity’s Reach we will ever possibly see is by Centaurs. If the White Mantle ever took over it would be so they owned the power, and they would want the city standing strong once they had control. And then the Mursaat show up and spectral agony every human in Divinity’s Reach to death because they are still pissed about that genocide thing…

The starting mission is the centaurs assualting shaemoor which is right outside Diviny’s Reach so hopefully we will see the Centaurs besieging Divinty’s Reach and killing Logan Thackery.

How did the 6 ancient races fail?

Killul.9685

It is specficed that is five races that fought the dragons and lived to tell the tale. There would have been more races fighting the dragons but they would have perished. Currently we have eleven races fighting against the dragons and possibly more later on the Tengu and Largos will join in. That would be thriteen against six. If Anet doesn’t care about balancing the numbers now then why would they done it before. The name the unnamed and count the uncounted is the method for order of the whispers agents to recongize each other.

So apparently, we like the new gear...

People keep complaing about ascended gear because Anet has not realised the issue. The only response they give is us is complete bullkitten and I can’t believe even Anet believes it. If Anet contuines then this game will be another wow clone and fail because there is a dozen more wow clones out there.

Killul.9685

It was five ancient races not six. Jotun, Mursaat, Dwarves, Forgotten and Seers against Zhaitan, Jormag, Primdous, Kralkatorrik, Bubbles and a six unknown dragon. Tech and Unity are likely why they failed. Things would have changed over the years but no one of old races seem to have much in the way of technology. There has been no mention of the ancient races unifying with each other to fight the Dragons. Not one race could truimph against the Dragons alone.

Worry more about finding groups for the mid level dungeon. People will be playing fotm due to the grinding need and some of them will be playing diffculty 1.

I agree with Tempest. Before they actually listened to the community but the fact they impleneted ascended after so much negative feedback shows that they are no longer listening or giving a kitten what we think. I used to think Arenanet was a really good company but know I think they’re becoming terrible.

It is possible to bring other players in with you. I don’t know if it scales depending on the amount of players because I have never tried it myself.

WvW seems to count as PvE, as you get karma and coins in there. Instead getting just Honor like it should.

You get coin and karma from wvwvw because Arenanet intended you be able to level solely in wvw without touching Tyria. Wvw has pve but it is intended to be pvp so it really should be under pvp.

Some Suggestions for the game

Killul.9685

Addding achievment armour sets is a good idea but introducing it for slaying will be far too time consuming for Arenanet too do. They could introduce more content in the time they it could take to introduce achievement sets for all the slaying achievements. Unlocking all jumping puzzles and pvp achievements would be good for achievment armour sets.

If Arenanet had spread the karka out across Lion’s Arch and made an actually invasion instead of us fighting over a small area then the lag would have been less. Districts are nessacary for improving the one time events but the world is already empty enough without introducing disticts.

Arenanet has announced that they will not implent standalone camapigns because they are a terrible idea and result in using more character slots and splitting the playerbase and draning the regions. Personal story needs to stay be instanced otherwise it wouldn’t be your story. Your idea for replacing personal story just makes your complaint worse. Having fewer quests will make you feel even more disconnected to the story.

The personal story is terrible in this game.

I find it odd that I seem to have more knowledge of good writing than Arenanet does. Trahearne is the perfect example of that he is made leader of the pact solely because he is an expert on Orr. That makes an advisor not an leader. I love the personal story but it is never well written at times it is hilarous but it is not well written. I have a new best friend every ten levels. Clawspur, who? Tybalt doesn’t ring a bell. Trahearne oh yes me best friend. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the pre-Pact personal story but I wouldn’t ever classify it as well written.

Killul.9685

The masters of Whispers was the most obivous plot twist in the entire game. Riel was the only character who we had seen often enough. I think there not a single person in the world who didn’t wouldn’t see Tybalt survive and be the head of the order. Tybalt being the Master of Whispers would be such a suprise for us and every in the order.

Bubbles?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Killul.9685

No I don’t want to kill Bubbles. We won’t any if we don’t end up paying for the expansion then it will still be a long time before we kill him. They are four other dragons who are impacting Tyria much more than him. I personally don’t want to fight Bubbles as they are many other dragons that need fighiting first. Introudcing Bubbles smells of bad writing as it says to me they can’t think of any suprises not related to the Elder Dragons. Plus I want to call him Bubbles for a while longer.

At this point I really haven’t noticed these personality traits making any difference about anything.

Do they actually have ANY effect on the world?

It has minor effects on non voiced content. There are some spots where it requires a really high score of a certain personality trait to get options to bypass a fight. Instead of fighting your way through some enemies you’ll charm them instead if you’re “Captivating”

Can you provide an example of this please. I have not noticed this.

Killul.9685

In any case, the worst thing about “my personal story” is the fact that it felt like I was playing Trahearne’s story instead. Definitely disappointed with that.

YES! THIS! I become a crusader, commander, second in command, etc… but never am i center stage! What happened to this being a PERSONAL story? Trahearne goes through some cool stuff, i want to do that! I get tired of sitting back watching NPCs chat each other up one side and down the other with no dialog for my own character for pages and pages…

You do become center stage. I choose the charr loyal soldier and in that storyline Rytlock was helping me recover my father’s treausre. And about the creature much worse that anything Zhaitain can create (Trahearne) he tags along all the time he doesn’t achieve anything without you doing it for you and yet he is the hero and leader. All I can say about that is Tyria is doomed.

Choices don't matter AT ALL. [From my perspective]

Killul.9685

I am so jealous of you guys. I played as a Charr and no one from my story shows up. I was expecting my warband to show up for the the battle of Claw Island and no one did. If I know if I was actually my character I would go to the Black Citdeal and ask for my best friend Clawspur to fight alongside my side instead I never hear from my best friend that I known since my childhood again. Arenanet decided that no one wants their choices from early on to reflect on the latter game. As far Trahearne getting credit, the kitten gets credit for everything we do. He tells us to do something, tags along, does kitten all and then gets the credit.

Edit: I use the ba word and it is changed to kitten. Arenanet all the kids are swearing in cod, there is no need to block these words.

True Autoloot - Looting is a chore!

in Suggestions

Killul.9685

All you have to do is press f it’s not a chore. There is enough time for you to loot the corpses. Wasselin I have been to both wvwvw and Orr and I still say that looting is nowhere near a chore. CureForLiving you clearly haven’t played GW2 lately as they updated it so looting isn’t a problem. Arenanet should not waste on their time “on a true autoloot” just because of a few lazy players.

Priomordus Not the First To Awaken?

Killul.9685

-The Dragons fight against each-other, Zhaitan would not help further the speed of which one of his enemies awakens.

Just some clarification: While the dragon minions -and possibly the .dragons themselves- will fight amongst each other if given the opportunity, I would not go so far as to say they are enemies. They don’t actively seek each other out, and they may not even be aware of each others existence

Actually they are considered enemies and they are aware of each other’s exisctence. They treat other dragon’s minions as any other enemy. They don’t seek each other out because they are other enemies blocking them from each other.

Last two zones: no hearts?

in Dynamic Events

Posted by: Killul.9685

Killul.9685

There are no hearts because that is the way they were intended to be. Orr is supposed to be being invaded and the whole zone is supposed to a battlefield. Hearts would be static and Orr would lose the feeling of being invaded. As far the bugs it is clear that Arenanet has done little testing of the higher level zones and Orr would not be high up on their list of pirioties.
