Eight of those guilds are smaller together than some of the Zerg guilds that roam this game.
You know that free transfers are closing any server not recruiting is either to full or not into WvW seriously.

i suggest next time cooldown then post a recruitment thread.
recruiting drives are inviting people to come and play with you, so i would try to seem more like someone that could be interesting than the emo kid down the road.

a week is not drawn out, one day matches make it not worth spending money on upgrades like waypoints when the game will be over in a few hours

More QQ as a thief I kill people including thieves. As my war or guardian I kill thieves all the time.
Don’t want to die in two seconds wear toughness items.
but really try a thief and watch how people kill you, then repeat on next thief that jumps you

I use the standard 20 30 0 0 20 build with power tough vit gear, but I use berserker jewelery to balance it out.

IOJ has a lot of oceanic players here

No didnt think so, what you are saying is im a bad i can kill npcs but not players please nerf the game.
either that or spend some time in wvw and see it can be fun, the added danger that you could actually die rather than auto attack and afk help the time pass

two out of three are your fault. now that you know about the group finder i hope you can find groups but really dont complain about it being hard when you wont join a guild? first time i have seen a post where some one cries that its hard to group but admits they dont play with people.
There are mmo’s out there that cater for non social players please do not get this game changed to be like that

Can’t have it both ways either join a party or play the solo roamer.
When I’m roaming getting smashed by a group is just what happens sometimes.

i had more sock etc than that and i have not farmed the event or played those kind of hours 1-3 hours half the days (stupid interstate visits) i managed to buy 2 skins and bought the cheaper one i wanted off the tp

WvW does not sound like 1v1???

After this long people still cry about double teaming. There are no double teams just time both your enemies are pushing.
If you haven’t seen FA pushing IOJ then I suggest opening your map more often. Last night both FA and CD controlled their bl and were pushing IOJ (as you should, everyone should always push the top team)

had a guildy do it in 6-7 hours but he has craft leveled a few toons now so he is fast as.
i was following same guide as him and he finished two trades before i had finished my first

They would have had a few supply camps on other maps, people moving 15 at a time build very quickly

There is a lot of prep involved in that kind of rush

I use the karma set cond, pre and toughness, with matching jewelery (chrisiola orbs).
But I have guilds running pure carrion( crafted)We both seem to have about the same survivability

it will change it to soulbound if you fill the slot

My thief wears Duelist set, im still working on colours atm its purple and blue.

if you need events wvw is great for it, if you dont want to cap supply camps or towers you can kills dolys or turn sentries for 5 quick events

I have full wvw maps on two characters with a third needing a few vistas that i have not bothered with yet.
Best bet is move for a week or join a wvw guild to make it more fun.

@Rodzilla, Yah it looks like SOR’s coverage is a bit weak this week. I zoned into BG lands at 2pm central yesterday, just now and on a weekend. There was literally no one there. The NPC commander that spawns due to low populace introduced in the last patch was up everytime I zoned in.

If you WvW much you know SoR BL is the last map to be pushed and taken over, and thats due to all 3 fighting it out on it.

LOL most nights the borderland order of attack is IOJ, BG then SOR and if you don’t think bg is pushing us on those maps you don’t know much about the oceanic time slot

I know the thief build i have played it to learn to counter it.
And i agree the drop rate is low, they need to increase it and add varied sets to buy. one set is not enough and most of my toons dont want power, tough vit.
The rest was trying to improve on what sounds like a newer players frustrations. I would hate to see more people leave the game, wvw populations are slowing fast enough.

I play wvw for fun i dont need to make lots of cash, i can afford to buy the things i need and upgrades for maps. I know i could make more gold in pve but that would not be as fun for me.
I guess im luck as i dont care about collecting a legendary or then gold might have more value

1. there are many counters to thieves, and if he won 5v1 then i dont think people are doing something right.
2. i earn alot more badges than that, you get used to spamming f as people die
3. if they dont like it they can come to a wvw server, the top tiers still get the outmanned buff. I would like to be able to pick a server for wvw and one for pve.
4. The warrior has a rifle as a weapon set he is also ranged. I guess it depend on your spec we have a ranger in guild who can constantly be last man standing whilst putting out good dps.

I recommend that if you are just in the game for pvp join a wvw guild and you will see the badges flow in most of my guild has 1-3 80s geared now and have 500+ banked.
But if you are outnumbered that bad the kills would be coming slowly.
And for Ekove there are lots of sets that you can earn in wvw you just have to goto orr to pick them up, what else would you do with karma?

Trial culling was awesome, i could run around and see all the enemies to kill.
Reverted to crap culling means i died 4 times before i saw anyone.
What a joke, one step forward and reverted to a game that makes me not want to play

I have no idea how much karma my toons have, once they have gear for WvW then i dont look at it ever again(i will never make enough gold in wvw to make a legendary).
I care about current PPT and closing the gap on who ever is leading the score currently

I am enjoying balanced match ups and building rivalries. We have many KOS guilds from SOR and BG.
Not wanting to sound rude but if you want to move up, win by more. We on IOJ are losing by much so I think we are where we belong. If we get smashed and you guys dominate we might swap till then have fun.
In the same way BG needs to push hard for a few weeks if they want to escape us.

i like that our servers push at different times, if not it would not be very effective.
Just remember next week if you push hard early as you do most weeks, BG and IOJ will come at you later in the week when you are tired.
But as with every other week i have had fun and look forward to killing you next week

IoJ won’t beat SoR again. IoJ just needs to get out. This week is strictly SoR vs Blackgate, like it has been for the previous 3 weeks as well.

IoJ, no disrespect, but you guys aren’t a T2 server, and I wish ArenaNet would fix their ranking system so a team that continues to win competes against other teams that continue to win LIKE THEY SAID WHEN THEY WERE DEVELOPING THE GAME.

It’s time to bring Tarnished Coast in here. They may not be as good as SoR, but like SoR they don’t give up. IoJ is like the lonely bully that randomly throws things at people to make them wonder who keeps throwing things at them.

You want us out beat us by more, IOJ has been a t2 server because we fight hard despite our coverage.
I had a ball last night in bg bl completely outnumbered attacking hills. We kept trying to work out how fast we would die when they realised they outnumbered us

They don’t need server merges, If your server is to quiet move. Free transfers are there for a reason.
Also you realize that even the top tiers have gaps. If i don’t want to play on reset i will not see a queue most of the week (this is in tier 2).

there are some guilds that over use portals but i dont get why you would have people using /t to remind people about it. We call when we see a mesmer make a break out of the lines or shadow refuge and then unless severly outnumbered attack the portal site before they even come out.
I would like to see portals colour coded to friendly and enemy to help when its chaotic
but feel that the 5 person limit on heals and buff really made a difference to us fighting portal zergs

I’m sure I’m stating the obvious since this has been said before by your own server players but while your server’s overall coverage is pretty good, the overall quality of the guilds is lower than the current T1 servers.

All three of our servers have many great WvW guilds and many many kitten players running around as well. coverage does not = skill, tier one servers play pretty much the same as we do.
IOJ log in to pvp, not to play for second of even to stay in the tier we log in to kill and liberate as many camps, towers or keeps that suffer under the tyranny of other realms.

i WvW to PK, be it 1v1 or small party that’s out manned (zergs are boring).
If its red its dead.

I have not seen AA do 20k damage when I add 6-7 swings together

last night me and two toher guildies all on different isps logged off in disgust as we could not play for lag. we have all been playing since launch and wvw nearly every night.

First patch of the apocalypse? Lol I know over dramatic but I bought the game to not have a gear grind, I pvp and like for everyone to easily get the right stats.
Most of the games I have stopped playing is because developers start making kitten up on the fly, we are not far into the game and progression is already here?
As with most people if I wanted to keep earning gear I’d still be in another mmo

Use sword war horn and voila 100% fury up time, I use yo jacks build in tis forum to play bleeds and I don’t see a reason to go two swords over s/wh

it depends actually, for example, if you are using heavy. as far as i know you can’t get power/toughness/vitality in all your armor from temple god karma vendors. no one is selling power/toughness/vitality exotic heavy helm for karma, you can only get it from badges, but i could be wrong.

true but i level my latest toon in wvw, so at 80 i went and got 5 karma items and the wvw helm. spent gold on weapons and i was set.
I would like to see them add a few sets that we could buy with nice skins to make my badges worth something. I buy my siege with coin just in case

Hit them harder I get loot bags from cliff divers all the time, I also take pleasure in smashing people over the side with Kb’s

The difference between t1 coverage and t3 is massive. But it’s the same all around you see a team stomp their tier move up get stomped back down rinse and repeat.
Yes the top tiers are going to be similar next week (there is still time for SOS to pass bg). Also on ioj we need to keep our ppt up to not drop, if we gave up we would fall. So there’s some movement at the top again.
Kinda rambled but point is the ranking system places around equal servers no one enjoys a blow out winners and losers are bored

There are also many players selling items on the tp so chances of buying from a botter is not as high as you make out.
If you have been playing and got dailies/monthly dne you would be in a few karma items. Just because stats are simlilar having low armor will screw a guardian.
And mine is still specked tipple med greatsword because farming mobs in Orr aoe is king

So a few nights of wvw with build in full exotics has been fun as, looks like two guild warriors are swapping to the build as well. Only change I made coming was knights jewelry. Made back most of the lost condition damage with the toughness to condition damage food.
I recommend the omnom food that 66 chance to heal on crit. This has no cool down, I have regened health when leaping into groups from getting (most I have had is four of the 300 heals at once). And the omnom ghost version makes my assura even harder to see coming
I’m really looking forward to our melee team being 3 yo jack warriors a gs war, thief and support guardian, nothing like a big melee push to break a muck bigger group

The mad king cares not for sandy, he has his own schedule to keep.
