Anyone know why we have so many Brazilians on our server?

Because people tend to flock where their friends are. If one SoR user from Brazil recommends the game to his or her friends, more people from Brazil will be in SoR.

Also Brazil has a HUGE market of videogames and a strong gaming community.

There are around 70 people from Brazil and 10 people from Argentina in GSCH only, not counting other guilds

Lots of crying about this week and not understanding why. I’m having fun running with a dew friends fighting and flipping. Would much rather deal with a few golems then overwhelming blobs attacking. Unfortunately just as in normal weeks there are those that use questionable tactics such as duplication and buff sharing on non-golems. Peple need to just chill and have fun, taking things seriously when they’re not meant to be deprives you of the fun it was meant to be.

Indeed, a set of skins or an outfit would be so much better.

Gosh, I miss the town clothes so much. And what I miss the most is that you could paint them like armor. Now you cannot change the colors of the town clothes tonics. :c

And we only get 4 colors for the whole outfits!

I’m here to add my voice into the choir of discontent about the new hairstyles. Charr are:
“[..] forged in the merciless crucible of war. It is all they know. War defines them, and their quest for dominion drives them ever onward. The weakling and the fool have no place among the charr. Victory is all that matters, and it must be achieved by any means and at any cost.”

The new hairstyles are plainly stupid looking. I know someone made them with a lot of care, effort and love; but this stuff is not even lore friendly!

When are we going to get nice and serious hairstyles for female charrs?

The option for the mini-map to show the Server Time is crazy! It used to say the pacific time, now it changes every time I change maps!

How can I fix my Server Time clock to tell me the current Pacific time-zone?

The issue started with the Megaservers, it didn’t fix by itself.

Ah, the shatterer, also known as the Sparkle Crystal Piñata. Poor thing cannot turn his neck and munch on some unsuspecting players.

Yes. I would love to see this boss a bit more difficult instead of a piñata.

I would love to get instanced Living Story Season 1 content, get the halo hat-potion again, the Molten Dungeon stuff (with Jetpacks, please!), town clothes as skins for regular clothes, outfits that you could mix and paint the different areas as regular armor

I’m super excited about HoT, but a friend who just got the game recently asked me: “But are you going to be more powerful than me if you get HoT?”

I told him: “From what I read in the forums, the previews, the wiki and the official page, masteries are for level 80 only and will take some effort to get. So yeah, I would be more `powerful´ in the long run, but it’s not like I buy it and get insta-über powerful.”

Did I tell him the truth? Is getting the DLC going to make my character super powerful with non-dlc players?

I love the new daily system, but it needs improvements.

Like when we get Snowden drifts events, all mobs insta-melts, events don’t scale properly, and other problems making the daily of getting 4 events in [insert low level area] a tedious chore and a pita without taste.

I’m super excited and hyped about this, I keep throwing money at the screen but nothing happens, but now I got a few questions.

Is the new class dlc exclusive?
I know that the new area is dlc exclusive, that makes sense, but what about masteries and specializations?
Are Guild Halls dlc exclusive too? Do I need the expansion to hang around in our guild new place?
Could we use the glider thingie outside of maguuma jungle?

I remember when I joined Sanctum of Rall. As many users from Argentina I joined Sorrow’s Furnace, because that’s where everybody was going. I felt alone, lost, even when people who spoke my same language I felt there was a huge language barrier about coordination, taking objectives, doing events. A friend of mine told me of this great server where his friend was, where people was helping eachother doing events, chat was nicer and it was a good place to be.
Those days the transfers were free, so I switched, thinking I was nothing to lose and so much to gain. I went to EB and I had no idea what I was doing, there I found GSCH, who took me in, showed me the ropes and gave me a home and a family Soon after my partner joined us in the server and in the guild, best decision ever in GW2
I remember asking for help in LA to do events in mid level areas and get a plucky group of heroes doing events with me and getting map completion all-in-one.

Ok, I found what happened. You get Laurels for the Wintersday Dailies, but I did the bell choir thingie as my last daily task, so it didn’t give me any Laurels until I actually left the activity, then I got my daily Laurel.

Hello guys, since the new system I am unable to get new Laurels. Yes, I’m logging every day and doing my wintersday dailies, it appears that I got 1 new Laurel, but I’m still at 104 laurels total, I didn’t spend any in these days and it seems I’m unable to get more.

Is anyone else getting this bug or is it just me?

I think this feature should be optional or removed, new players should be able to roam and explore WvW, that’s how I found GSCH back a few years ago.

Hello guys! This is kind of embarrassing to me… I entered a customer service ticket regarding duplicated gem store purchased outfits but I didn’t get a confirmation mail or an update or a reply. I always write down the ticket number, but this time I had a brain toot and I totally forgot to write it down this time. The ticket was placed near 04/26/14. A friend told me not to open another ticket, but to request assitance here in the CS forums.

I think this idea is amazing and very useful. One-too-many times I got ruined <whatever> because I forgot what kind of tools I’m using and the HUD says NOTHING about it, no warning before even attempting to gather.

Just change the “Gather”, “Mine” and “Chop” color message to red if you will get nothing, blue if you have a better quality tool, and green it’s just the right tool.

How hard can be that to code, eh?

I blocked someone, just to my dismay that I can still read that person in Guild and Squad channels.

What is the point of blocking someone if I still have to read whatever stuff they are saying?

Please, make that if I block the person it stays blocked in ALL channels.

I’m with you guys.

I love my charrs very much and to see them being treated like second class citizens really makes me angry.

Between that’s a pain to do jumping puzzles with them, most armor looks incredibly ugly, all helmets are horrible, no wonder nobody wants to play with charrs :/

In the twitch tv they already said: Not enough players are playing charr, not enough resources are going to be pumped into making charr armor better.

Bummer.

Just two days before the event updates, anyone else having this issue?

I was able to complete it, but after waiting a whole day and going to Plains of Ashford and made myself sure that I delivered all the 10 audiologs to the guy at Ashford Forum.

I really hope this bug gets solved

Hello guys,

I collected 19 audio logs. 10 in the Snowden Drift, 8 in the Wayfarer Foothills and 1 in the Diessa Plateau.

I delivered all audiologs to Vigil Oudre Wraithwoe, but the “Spy on this!” achievement only counted 9 delivered but took the 19 audiologs from my inventory.

Is this working as intended? Thanks in advance.
