Not really. Warriors and Guardians have totally different roles. I have NEVER lost a 1vs1 vs a Guardian. And if im loosing, i can run and he cant kite me I dont want to my Warrior to look like a kitten Guard.

Ok so i have played the entire beta with Necro and only Necro. When the game came out i found the engi interesting and did it a try. Now i want to come o my beloved necro but dont know what scales better for WvW. If a cond necro or a juggermancer tank like necro. Any tips?

What are some people’s problems with guilds on here like BOOM among others? If you are going to slag other guilds off at least give an explanation rather than they are just a wannabe guild which makes no sense. I cannot confirm such mentality for the better part of Baruchis I’ve encountered on the fields. Your statement – from my PoV – may be applied to most Seafarers, though.

The guys from BB seem to be berserkers (not gear- but mindset-wise), never avoiding fights. It might seem stupid sometimes, but they keep pushing, they don’t give up, and they even fight when all their armor is broken. I quite like the spirit they show. It is something that make them stand out and makes them quite likeable as an opponent force.

I don’t like night capping either, but I wouldn’t like to limit someone else’s game experience just because he or she has a different schedule or lives in a different time zone. As a player of a server which survived a 21/7 outmanned-buff situation for several months now, I politely ask you to stop complaining. Have fun when you got time playing the game, try to get better at defending when outmanned if you wish, acknowledge differences in play style and mind-sets.

I wonder if Anet knows that there are more people outside Europe who speak/are Spanish then within. Big parts of South-America are playing on the Spanish server and do all the nightcapping, still Anet believes it is a European server. Same goes for French, so basicly all real European servers getting screwed by Anet.

Thats true man. I actually have PTV because it was the first set in the game. Could change to PTP, but i want to put my elem now with fract upgrade and stuff.

Even when i was full zerker the best meteor shower i had was 3.5k, lol. Now with new build i do 2.5, still perfectly good. Meteor Shower isnt supposed to be the 1h Blades from Heaven, and its impossible to do so much dmg from MS.

People dont understand that the Elementalist dps comes by switching between all elements. So i believe the ele need some minor buffs on some traits, but not a rework like OP is suggesting.

I have been thinking, what would be better to WvW with the zerg if PTV or PTHP with runes of divinity?

I agree that staff ele is one of the strongest things in a group. But i disagree for the full zerk. I learned that full zerk is a mistake. If you die in a zerg, you are giving an oppurtunity to your enemies to rally. There are more important things in WvW than damage.

btw as i asked in other posts, im running PTV with divinity runes + celestial jewels. For more tankiness in zerg vs zerk. Should i Switch for PTHP ? I know HP would help my team and my self more but switching my equip now would me make to buy Gems for Transmutation Crystal and a cleric set

I think i need some tough for a melee class. Armro PTV with divinity, zerk jewels. Maybe put tough on earings and backpack.

Would you go Lunaria and Solaria instead of the berserk rings ?

i think i will get 6 runes of divinity for my PTV set.

The truth is that staff isnt a dps weapon. Thats why i have 2 sets: 1 with Power + tough + Healing Power with runes of Dwayna. Yes i know i should change the runes but im doing some tests in WvW. And the other set has PTV + runes of earth. Both Sets with Berserker Jewels.

i have a mix of PTV with ruby orbs + Berserk

I am trying his build. There are a few things you can do for support : dwayna, monk, water. I may get the earth runes for more toughness.

I was thinking about going full clerics to help my team when zerging because the aoe blast are real powerful. Now some people say its not worthy :/

As we’ve seen a few messages from players saying they didn’t get the achievement even after watching the fireworks, here are some useful information:
1your character needs to be in the following zones in Lion’s Arch: Gate Hub Plaza (around the Asura portals), the Grand Piazza (next to the Dragon holoprojector) or the Mystic Plaza (next to the Mystic Forge)
2 while the fireworks last for about 5 minutes, you need to be present during the finale of the event when the dragon is defeated (and dives into the sea)
3last, make sure you don’t already have the achievement

Kind of glad now I was one of the beneficiaries of the glitch where some people got the helms and achievement early… but you shouldn’t have to hope for a glitch for something like this. At the very least, if there are going to be festival events that require being at a particular location at a particular point in the ingame day/night cycle, there should be a way to tell where you are in the cycle that’s a little more precise than ‘day’ or ‘night’.

Care to explain this, devs, please? Some people say that it depends on your position near the plaza. How many cm’s should i be near it devs? Okay you said the dawn but you didnt said the cm’s on the plaza. Please devs, EXPLAIN SOMETHING.

Btw. When dragon bash started i got the helm. Now i cant unlock the ach when im actually watching the fireworks. IS THERE A CONNECTION HERE ?

And so it happens again in Sfr. Fireworks, my mate who was with me got the ach and i didnt. Why do you hate me anet?
