I’m walking, while I still got boots on my feet.

I’ve got one thing to say to you all: shush.

Here’s a crazy idea: If you’re not good enough at the game to do something, don’t do it? Don’t kitten up the forums blaming it on lag, on your class (b-b-b-but warriors are overpowred xD! I did it on an engi far, far easier than a warrior), on bugs, on “unfair mechanics”, on anything like that, instead of your own kittening inability to do something. It is OKAY to be not good enough to do something that doesn’t give you vital rewards. I would understand if it locked you away from ascended or a legendary or something palpable, but it’s a kittening mini. You do not HAVE to be the best players ever, it’s deliberately designed to be CHALLENGING content and therefore almost by definition not completable by people who are not capable of doing it.

Entitlement here is through the roof. I’ve never seen anything like this, it’s disgusting.

sounds like the entitlement of elitists like you asking for more hard content even though the game is more for casuals lol. The irony!

I say, give easy mode and hard mode.

Easy mode: Liadri has 75% less HP, does 75% less damage, and does not have a cripple skill. No rifts spawn and once phase 2 starts, the aoe 1shot kills stop. Remove all 1 shot kills.

Hard mode: The way it is now.

Rewards for easy mode: both achievements and the miniature
Rewards for hard mode: botch achievements, the miniature and 10gold

EDIT: oh, and people don’t spawn DEAD outside the dome on the catwalk. We spawn alive and well.

Translation:

“Give me a free mini.”

Swap the rewards and I’ll support it. Easymode and hardmode both get 10g, while hardmode only gives the mini.

The whole point of the mini is for the hardmode players to have some form of representation that they are indeed hardmode. There is currently no other means ingame (Sorry legendary users, I respect you but have no proof of skill).

Not true. Let’s be honest, how many times have you sent your minion to the bank? I’ve sent mine countless times when depositing all simply because you cannot lock them. On the other hand after completing the event I wouldn’t mind if they nerfed the content to make it easier because guess what? It doesn’t make my prize any worse than someone else. I would still know that I acquired my mini the HARD way and overall it did not make me look toward future content since I know the moment they add liandri 2.0 I’m deleting gw2.

Know one thing is for sure. Regardless of whether or not I get this mini, I never want to see the pavilion again. Moreso if I fail. At that point, and indeed as of right now, it’s just a monument to my apparent inadequacy as a player. Queen Jennah, and her bizarre gravity defying dress, can stuff it…

and that’s my feeling exactly if they continue to add this type of content. I hear bunch of elitists on the forum ‘’liandri was cake, too eazy, need harder stuff’‘. I have the mini, I don’t feel more pro but more disappointed, frustrated and it gives me less patience for future events. Why? because the challenge was plagued with bugs which means that more players asking for harder challenges will make anet add more buggy encounters with cheap tactic relying on dps asap and dodge the 1 hit k.o skill.

I’m really tired of all these “skill challenges” which seem to focus on dpsing everything down as fast as possible, and dodge rolling. Spam all the buttons! Dodge! Some real complex gameplay you got there…

If you honestly think that’s what you have to do to beat Liadri you’re sorely mistaken.

funny, that’s EXACTLY what you need to do lol. You learn patterns in phase 1 then if you’re full zerker warr you just dps the crap out of liandri in phase 2 in 4 seconds. There is a video on youtube about that.

Took me about 50 tickets to beat her, and multiple respecs and gear swaps playing a warrior, but I did beat her. Anet said themselves that not all specs will work, and you will need to re-tune gear and traits, so I did.

The following was as a warrior:

1st entering – orb pulls me, and darkness falling kills me. Ok, not a great start, but never did it before. Watched people ahead of me, learned that i need to destroy those orbs, ok.

2nd attempt – ok, killed the orb with GS, dodged, how the frick to i do dmg to her? What are these white lights? do I stand in them to get a buff like the other chick? Oh crap, wasnt paying attention, clone got me. Watch players again, saw they kited clones into the light things and threw an item. Ohh…ok.

attempt 10 – ok, I’m starting to see a pattern with the light spawning, I can memorize where the first 3 appear and I’ll range the orbs so I dont have to move a lot. Orbs are obstructed…I qq to other watchers and get told that they cant be ranged, only melee’d. Drat. but i noticed that after I get the second crystal to throw, a second orb spawns…

attempt 17 – OMG OMG OMG! I made it to p2! Now to put down my banner and…whoa! too many red circles! Dodge! Oh crap, cripple! weakness?! clones! death from above! gah!!!

Attempt 26 – ok, banner as a trait bad idea, so I will use shake it off, FGJ, and OMM plus sigil. kitten it, I wasnt watching the red circles again…

(sleep)

attempt 30 – Ok, p2 again, sigil, shouts, charge with GS and 100b and…owowowowowow and crashing from above, dead. Ok, bum rushing not working for me. And I have no ‘oh crap’ skill. Plus dodge not regening fast enough. So, time to sit back and think a bit. I can use the signet for dodge regen, and removes conditions, good. healing signet will help with the base dmg in p1. Endure pain will be my oh crap button. That leaves me with FGJ and sigil for dmg boosts.

Attempt 33 – ugh! I just cant melee her with GS, its too risky. I’ll try rifling p2. But I noticed that there are safe spots in the area that no red circles spawn, and it goes in the same direction, if I just run across the middle more, I can stay in there and dps…

Attempt 36 – Indeed, the cutting more across the inner zone to a safe area works. I even survived to the time limit! progress! Now my problem is dmg. Rifle isnt working. I’ll try bow.

Attempt 40 – Ok, bow is working better for me, but its not fast enough, and I am making mistakes still. Ok, full on condition gear. Change spec for increased condition duration, dogged march for extra healing and reduced time on cripple, the stance mastery to give me vigor when using my stance, as I should use it as a last resort when out of dodges anyway, lemon grass food for more reduce cripple time and weakness. oil for weapon.

Attempt 44 – Ok, keep calm. phase 2, dont rush, rushing leads to mistakes. Just run and shoot, spam fire and bleed when up, aoe orbs if pulled with 3. She’s almost dead…I can do this! She’s at a quarter of a bar..! Screw it! GS swap, charge in, endure pain, 100b…YES!!! WOO! I beat her!

Guy who thought I lost – “you should use rifle, better dmg”
Me – “Killed her with conditions with bow.”
Guy – “what? no way.”
Me – points to mini “yes.”

My friend was also getting ticked off at her, raging at me in pms how it was so stupid. But he still kept at it and beat it. But at least to lessen the difficulty, yeah, fix cameras…

lol mine was like this:

attempt 1-20: WTF she’s cheating god freaking dammit it’s insane!

attempt 40-60: Ok finally got used with the awful red circles. Now I want to rage at the clones.

attempt 60-80: Clones are good, but WTF is wrong with that @##$%^ orb? Dang it!

attempt 80-100: Dang it, finally in phase 2 and now I have to deal with everything + circles covering half of the arena, liandri getting touchy and inflicting cripple all the time and ALSO more clones!

attempt 100-120: Rage!

attempt 120-140: More rage!

attempt 140-150: OMG NOT ENOUGH DPS!

Attempt 155: FINALLY! YES! YES! YES! Now I’d rather drink poison than try darkness achievement

Note on that, I play an engineer and no, after all those attempts I still wouldn’t touch that BLASTED mini again.

Median is pretty worthless in this case. If 70% of the players made 2g but the other 30% made 10,000 gold then you’ve still introduced a huge amount of gold into the economy and caused significant inflation even though the median is only 2g.

Average would be much more meaningful, but of course you can’t give that due to the massive number it would be and the panic and fear of inflation it would cause…

lol 10000 gold? I’m not even sure where you’re pulling those numbers from

he is using a mathematical example…. are you an elementary students?

not really, but everyone knows anet has usually enough gold sink to send away most of the gold. Also, the highest gold makers are still the same people: the big guys trading all day on TP making hundreds daily, so I don’t see any issue.

100b: 200% damage, lasts for 6 seconds and the skill can be used while moving
Brutal Strike: stuns opponents for 8 seconds every time they get hit
Arcing Slice: Adrenaline 50s :40% critical chance at level 3
Mending: 9000 healing
10 conditions removed.

Please do it for the sake of balance before all warriors quit playing

Champion farming needs to die. When I look into a guild roster and see 90% of the members in Frostgorge Sound because they’re zerging around killing champs with zero effort for ultra easy gold, something is wrong and this game’s economy is going down the toilet.

0 effort?lol you should come here, hf getting pulled by champs and dealt 7-8k dps per second , we will see how fast you scream zero effort.

bad player? I am sorry, champions have pulls and wells dealing insane damage per seconds, jesters have bombs stacking damage killing multiple people in the same time. This new issue is frequent in temple runs as well , not only in normal events or ’’zerg’’ events. Keep staying blind with your rage and enjoy countless deaths when you’ll have to do temples with the new risen types + the boss.
I was there for a while to check it out, even if you get downed/die you just WP and run back if nobody will res you, and resume smacking the mob.

I don’t think you understand the concept of effort.

assuming you don’t get pulled again and killed.

At which point you’re a bad player, it doesn’t happen with enough frequency that you die so much you have to actively put in tons of effort to earn the reward, its mostly just not being asleep at the keyboard.

Maybe you’re just blinded by hatred or just ignorant, but those risen have started issues at temples as well. Keep justifying this and enjoy getting killed over and over while trying to liberate temples, assuming you even do that

It kind of goes like this:

Warriors self buff themselves up pretty high so you can easily keep up 8k DPS in most situations.

Rangers and engineers can deal high amounts of damage but generally don’t have nearly as much self-might which severely reduces DPS in solo situations. With 25 might rangers can do fairly good and engineers can do extreme damage.

Thieves I haven’t tried yet.

Playing DPS on any class but warrior requires that you prove yourself and people will likely blame you for not being a warrior if things are going slow.

There’s a bunch of other reasons to roll a warrior too:

  • Mistakes are forgiven by higher base HP and armor and smaller skill cooldowns.
  • Less reliant on your group to reach your potential.
  • Generally accepted everywhere.
  • PvE content is mostly designed in a physical damage (warrior) fashion.
  • Lowest amount of micromanagement to keep your DPS up.
  • Has a full duration spammable elite skill. (Most other classes get about 10-20 seconds of eliteness out of at least 120)
  • A lot of positive attention from balance updates.
  • Great ranged damage too.
  • High number of control options.

Pretty much this. If someone tries for instance an engineer and a warrior they will see the micromanagement is insane between those two classes. This is a comparison between the easiest class to play and the hardest. As a warrior I could equip a GS and press 1-2 for massive damage as well as F1 when it’s up giving myself a perma +20% crit chance. As an engineer I have to press 1-2-3-4,f1,f2,f3,f4 switch to say grenade kit add poison/fire grenade, switch to toolkit to add confusion, switch back to regular weapon 1-2-3-4 and repeat the sequence.

Personally I think they should have done like League of legends. Classes that require more micromanagement would deal more damage over time unlike classes that require next to no effort.

the reason why people are kitten ed if you try to do that event is because triggering it in the first place is a kitten. Anet did as a joke a mob called jester. Champion jesters tends to spawn like every time escort happens, making the escort quest fail 8-9 out of 10 times. Nothing screams OP better than squishs NPCs and strong risen jesters that put a bomb on everyone that 1 hit escort npcs.

I had friends that were winning occasionally 1000$ at casinos but losing 300$ every week . Getting annoyed because you did not get the precursor you wanted is not very smart, especially since gambling is random. I know friend with 0 MF that recently got precursor at pavilion worth 400 gold and he only farms 1h per day. I farm there 2h per day with 300 MF and I also have done since the change over 800 champions and I barely got 1 exotic worth 18g. As I said, it’s just luck.

This tends to happen when there are many players on the area. I think the solution for it is just do it with a small group but it’s not likely going to happen because everyone wants their precious boxes. For the second event, there aren’t much trouble there but there is sometimes someone there to screw up by killing cauldrons.

God forbid people want to progress past anchorage WP and do the gates of arah event which also gives the same loot bags, instead of farming the fire elemental, failing the event, and starting again just to exploit the event to farm fire elementals. There are plenty of other champs in that zone and especially events that you can upscale to lots of champs with a lot of people, which we were doing on Day 1 of the patch. We felt no need to farm the fire elementals because of this, and neither should you. Oh and you can’t do that farm with ‘small group’s because the mobs won’t upscale to champs.

I’ve also never seen those npc’s have any trouble, and this whole “everyone must guard” thing is non existent, and I’ve never seen it either.

You have a miss understanding, people want to farm the fire elementals because with a large group you get 30+ champ bags in 10 mins. The part about a small group doing the escort part means that there won’t be champ risen jesters that spawn and wipe the event because people stack on the npcs or don’t revive them which causes instant fail for the event.

even when you revive nps it gets messy with the dumb jesters spamming around. Last run we had 3 jesters spawning . 1 jester is enough to 1 hit k.o all npcs, let alone 3. Honestly, I don’t know what dev has that sick sense of humor to create those guys.

Classes in PvE: Most and least boring.

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Kronus.6048

Kronus.6048

This is somewhat analogous to the question, what musical instrument, the guitar or piano, is hardest to play? Well, most people will say guitar as you’ll be playing something that sounds like music much sooner than on the piano. True as far as it goes, but I’ve noticed that to play any musical instrument (including a blade of grass) at the virtuoso level takes an equal amount of practice, gifting, commitment, whatever.

It’s similar here. To play a warrior at the highest level possible is not boring. You will constantly be on the edge of your seat. Most of these discussions devolve to the lowest common denominator and pronounce X profession boring. Calling any profession boring just shows that you are not approaching it in the manner required to make it art. So, why not make it art.

I’ve also noted that Warriors have the strongest tendency to defend their class.

A lot of people with high level warriors call it boring. A lot of players who play the class often in PvP call it boring. They give many concrete reasons why it’s boring, while those defending tend to give rather vague reasons while ignoring those put forth by others. Often going “Well you just play 100b, so thats why you call it boring” which is a fallacy, you’re just attacking the person rather than the argument.

It’s ok to admit that Warrior is rather base. It’s utilities are the most basic in the game. It’s weapons skills are rather cookie cutter. It’s traits are very basic. It has the highest base hp as well as highest base armor. Nothing really sets it apart from others aside from it’s simple nature. A common argument is that it requires weapon swapping, which is both untrue (little synergy between weapon types aside from the oh so popular, lay down a flame field then switch to a weapon that can use it) and need not apply, as such arguments can be applied to any class (just about all, if not all, have various incentives to weapon swap).

lol if they think swapping makes it complicated, then engineer says hi where swapping between weapon/kits is a must do in order to deal decent damage.

The main issue: players want to farm

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Kronus.6048

Absolutely hate farming and the philosophy behind it. I don’t think a lot of players like farming they just like loot. To be honest a lot of MMO Players, particularly Progression Type players often have Self Esteem Issues and other Psychological Problems. Progression and obtaining rare gear or equipment gives them something to be proud of and allows them for once in their lives to be successful at something and rise above their peers. No longer are they that weird rejected kid with poor social skills, they are now powerful and 1337 and they believe that other players look at them enviously. Once this wears off they move to another game and rinse and repeat. It’s a sad reality really.

Additionally pretty much every person that is in to progression isn’t able to comprehend the big picture. Progession lovers can’t figure out that as they increase in power so does the rest of the PvEasy content. Thus with each update they are in the exact same place as they were before because the NPC’s have scaled accordingly. It’s really unfortunate that some people aren’t smart enough to understand this.

I’m fully against farming and feeding the progression loving monster. Play for fun, not for loot.

seems like someone has self-esteem issues . Many players don’t necessary have self-esteem issues, but are hoarders, aka they like to acquire stuff and keep it. It happens in real life too and has nothing to do with any issue. Grinding is not fun, but some of us do it because we want something in particular which might be super expensive and it would have months before achieving it with the rewards given from the story or the actual events. I bought recently 6 divinity runes that broke me completely. I did not do it because I have self-esteem issues, but rather because I like a balanced stat. At 13g per rune, the time required to achieve that without farming is quite high unless you play TP, which is still grinding but in a different manner, so learn the difference before accusing people .

This is a different issue entirely. Divinity Runes are arguably the best runes in the game, which is why the price is so high. You are grinding to make your character the most competitve character you can which isn’t a bad thing. Nobody truly wants their characters to be less than optimal. You aren’t a part of the group that I was referring to. Nobody can see you runes and you and you didn’t acquire those runes to acquire a sense of self worth.

In my opinion all of the Runes should be sold by vendors for super cheap. Almost to the point of where they’re giving them away. I think it’s a bad design to make a certain level of gear and accessories out of reach for many players. It limits build diversity and when people get stuck playing the exact same build with the exact same weapons and skills for 1,000+ hours they will naturally get bored. Variety really is the spice of life. It’s funny how the developers at ANet can clearly see this and then scratch their head wondering why people in the game are bored with it. I do like the rare skins and I think they are doing it right in their future update by allowing players with a Legendary to switch on the fly the weapon stats to any weapon set stat in game. However, I do not agree with harder to acquire than normal ascended gear though which will be a real killer to diversity. Everyone will be locked into their chosen builds. I don’t know why they stepped away from the winning formula they had in GW1. You could acquire any max stat weapon in like 20 minutes of play. It won’t be the best looking piece of equipement but at least you’re not at a distinct disadvantage when compared to your peers.

Actually, divinity runes are bad. They’re only for players who don’t know what stat they want, and they’re expensive because of that casual demand and the fact that they are impossible to craft, every single one on the trading post was looted and salvaged.

If you want to be as optimal as possible you either shell out the gold for scholar runes or you take the very budget friendly option of ruby orbs (and they’re not even bad, scholar runes only work in organised groups or if you can keep yourself above 90% HP).

I disagree. If you play engineer you’d know that we can switch roles in a matter of seconds because of our kits, therefore all the stats are useful for us. Many people don’t use them, but that doesn’t make them bad.

I don’t think they would just delete the gear that’s a bit extreme. However, if they change the stats to something random I just want to say this, “In before people running around with their heads exploding thread.”

lol not for celestial/mf gear, that one is just ‘’cool, extra stats’‘. Personally I don’t care what stat they add instead of mf, unless it’s something like gold % or something. Then it’s worse because players attitude will be the same as before ,except now mf users will be called gold users.

deleting the gear would be the dumbest thing ever. Ascended gear with mf/celestial gear. I worked hard to acquire my set because I love balanced stats so why would I lose my hard earned items? It’s not my fault they added mf on balanced stats.

No longer shall the Cursed Shore suffer the weight of the 10-commander zergs! No longer shall skills be lagged. No longer shall fire elementals spawn!

Destroy the cauldrons! RALLY! SLAY ANDARZBAD! The Tarnished Coast has freed itself from the Tyranny of the Farm! There is hope for you! Just fight!

lol why?there is nothing worth in CS.

You have a very skewed definition of wrong, in that case.

If they want to farm, their problem. If I feel like doing events, there are bunch of maps. If I want to farm myself, there are some maps for that, so I don’t see the problem

I think the class itself changes a lot of things. For instance, I run engineer with ascended accesories/celestial gear/ rune of divinity. All of those things beside rune of divinity have mf and I’d be more than glad if it was switched with something like boon duration. Now why do I use that?I can switch support in FOTM pretty fast, like going from a DPS class to a support one. Engineers have elixirs that remove conditions from players, regeneration skills, more healing skills, buffs, etc. I could go the zerker way and do more damage, but unfortunately I don’t always trust my teammates in pugs to be gods that predict every strong attack. Call me selfish if you want, but the build works pretty well.

I might just make an Engineer thanks to your post :P

I still want a support Thief to work though (talking PvE and small group WvW here). The addition of celestial gear was pretty sweet for generalist builds though I haven’t yet regeared any of my characters with a majority set of it. There just too many Transmutation crystals I need to get

Go ahead, just be warned that engineer is the hardest class in game, so you will need patience and dedication to make it work. Save up a lot of karma to buy multiple sets since engineer has many builds it can go. Grenades, rifle, dual pistol, toolkit bunker, bombs, healer, you have tons of builds to work with.

The reason why you see this happening is pretty simple: Arenanet nerfs to the ground every farming area in the game that is seen as profitable so the farmers are rushing to get as many rewards as possible before the nerfhammer hits. It’s not the farmers fault really, but rather the extreme nerf on the farming areas from anet that led to this behaviour. Before you had cof p1 to run, areas to farm and so on. Now, it’s all about the places where champs spawn the most to get as many chests as possible. When this gets nerfed, the zerg will move to the next most profitable thing and repeat the process.

Nerfed to the ground because people keep exploiting events. Said it before – farmers are the cause of their own problems.

what exploits ? really enlighten me on what exploits were used in the old areas. When plinx was farmed there was no exploit happening at all, it was pure farming. Right now farming in Orr you are better if you succeed the events since it’s more champs. The only place I hear about exploits is South.

Also mud seems like you have a personal vendetta against zergs. CP itself is a zerg fest. Anet made it so, just DEAL with it!

The main issue: players want to farm

It’s ironic that most of the nerfed farming spots (such as Pen/Shelt) were nerfed into oblivion for rewarding based on intended mechanics (completion), while this Shank Anchorage farm has been going on without the immediate hotfix that it needs and deserves. It is, in my opinion, the single most toxic example of farming that has occurred in Guild Wars 2 to date. …

3. It is exploitation of one of the most important dynamic events in the game.

Arah is permanently locked because of exploitation of the Shank Anchorage event. The farmers’ response to this? They will tell you to guest to another server, as if that excused their actions.

You are wrong, intentionally most likely, because it has been said repeatedly that the Arah way point is not tied to the completion of that event and hasn’t been for months. If the event fails then the way point is uncontested and stays that way 90% of the time.

That is true, but lazy players want everything to be handled to them and teleport here right away instead of walking. It’s the ’’entitlement’’ of the players today. Mudbone or w/e wants farmers banned because apparently it’s unfair, so overall let’s ban everyone+ TP players too because they gain unfair amounts of gold while sitting in LA. You fail an event in ORR because bunch of risen chicken champs appeared?BAN!. You farm with a zerg? ban! You trade huge amounts of items? BAN!

Classes in PvE: Most and least boring.

Least boring: Ele
Most boring: Warrior

I’d actually like to play my warrior – especially when I play one of the other more complex classes and take about 3 times longer to actually kill things compared to a warrior that uses 2 skills and kills way faster then say an Elementalist who swaps Attunements 6 times in the process – being somewhat of a min/maxer it hurts my brain to play a class that is more complex and slower then the simple mindless hack&slash of a warrior. But the warrior is just soooo boring…

Basically it reeks of simply dismal class- and/or game design. By making this big thing of not wanting a decent and well-tested class system (trinity based classes) in their game they now have a totally broken and even more restrictive and unappealing class system. What’s the point if every class can do everything when in reality they all suck completely compared to the DPS-output and farming capability of the simplest of all classes?

Complexity should be rewarded, not punished… again… really wonderful game design right there.

lol nice post but don’t write that on in the warrior section, you’ll get told to stop lying and bunch of warriors will justify their class is very complex and requires lots of skill

It really is. Try actually playing the game as it is intended to be played instead of squeezing every copper out of it until Anet is forced to step in.

Is it stated somewhere that farming is illegal? I thought “it is not required” – means, we can farm “if we want”.

OFC it is, the casuals have demanded ! It will become a banneable offense next patch -_-

Isn’t it in the ANET/NCsoft ToS that anyone caught or reported for exploiting and confirmed by a dev grounds for an immediate ban whether it be temp. or perm.? If so, then, why has absolutely no-one been banned for this act of total disregard for legitimate players AND ANETs rules been totally ignored? IMHO ANET should just throw all the rules in the trash and allow everyone to do ANYTHING they want to any degree they want, it’s only fair. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

Because its not an exploit, granted, the rewards are a bit rediculous and nerf-worthy at the moment. Events were designed to scale to the amount of players involved in them. Events were designed to be failable. Events were designed to re-trigger after a certain amount of time after failing. Using intended ingame mechanics to your advantage isn’t exploiting (stop using this word to describe anything that might, has, or should get nerfed).

OK, fair enough, replace exploit with not as intended. Same difference.

Eh, they are not as bad as toxic players like you that report everything for no reason. Exploits are when you get insane unfair advantages aka karma weapon for 300 karma or snowflakes giving craploads of ecto. Champion provide 1 chest that is RNG with 4s in it.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but, the only thing I have reported are a handful of gold sellers and botters, I have never made zerg farming reports only observations, I myself am a solo open world farmer(never staying in one region for more than 2 hours max). Next.

Well the way you answered in your first post you actually seemed like you wanted arenaet to ban people for failing those events. Personally I’ve never been there, but even then it wouldn’t be fair because you cannot judge who does what. Some there might be following a commander or just someone unflagged, so how do you ban and for what reason? It’s not exactly ’’fair’’ to ban a guy for following a zerg and farming champions UNLESS farming itself becomes bannable, but then again that would be stupid.

I do want this, examples must be set and have you not heard the saying “ignorance of the law(or in this case, the ToS) is not an excuse”. Next.

Then you are either ignorant or just naive if you think it’s easy. You are basically saying ‘’ban players even if they are innocent.’’ I asked once again, who do you blame for letting the events fail? the leader or the sheep? the leader might not be trying because he might be scared others will curse/insult him, while the sheep won’t do it for the same reason.

If you did that in a place like FG yes, that would be trolling because there is no champ involved in events there in the chain. In the rest of the places, no

About this..

I haven’t been on a lot n the past couple days, so I don’t know the current state of the zerg trains, and I have yet to participate in a CS train.

Personally, I’ve always been against abusing people who legitimately want to complete events that peeps are holding up for the sake of farming, if people get too abusive, I’d just log off, because it would leave a bad taste in my mouth.

On the other hand, there are many types of people in zergs, some are the abusive kind, some are just trying to relax, and hopefully get lucky and find a cool looking skin. In FG, none of the champs in the rotation are reliant on holding up events, so I have no experience with that, but occasionally there would be people who would specifically target the champs in the rotation, and kill them out of order on purpose, when normally they would have no interest in said champion. (it was obvious what they were doing, because they would eventually start making snarky remarks in map chat)

Maybe they are just doing it for the lulz, or because some people in the zerg had hurled abuse at them, but to me, and some others in the zerg, they appear to be just as kittenish as those people who fly into a rage all because a passerby killed a champ.

This. You have people that love to troll on purpose and annoy others and then complain that ‘’omg why are they so mad?I’m allowed to do w/e I want!‘’. You want to kill champs? that’s fine, you do it in order just like us, not decide that hey I want to solo this guy. The zergs focus very few maps while every single map in game has champs. Acting like that is literally asking to get cursed/insulted.

Curse/insult me and you will be reported. It’s now time for Anet to decide who they want to play their game.

I dont have to do anything, I am just saying what usually happens and why it happens. Sure, you have the ability to do w/e you want and be a kitten to everyone in the game, but that usually gets replied with insults. Some zergs are bad, I agree but some are not. As I repeated, in places like FG there are no events on the champs and the champs themselves are in pretty far places, so when you decide that you want to break the chain here , you will have angry players responding back to your act the same way.

Nothing validate cursing or insulting, also if you want to do a certain champion or event, because you didnt do it, you like it, is a guild run, for a friend?.

If someone said hes doing it because he want to make the zerg miss his champ, yes you can get angry, othercase not, isnt your map.

Personally I’m talking about FG and no champs are involved in events there so when people decide to kill those particular champs involved in the chain, yes it is frustrating. Also it’s a matter of respect. No one said you should not do them, but rather do them in the same order as the zerg there. Personally I’ve spent some time there and people never cursed or insulted someone, but it did got frustrating when some champs disappeared because some guy thought it would be funny to break the chain multiple times.
