The “join” option is simply not there for both of us.
We both tried everything we could to make it work – restarting the game, teleporting, entering personal instance, switching characters, entering/ leaving dungeons, creating and leaving new party for several time with just 2 of us or with other players – with no success .
Yesterday Pastkeeper Saballa was totally bugged , she never gave me the Magic Scroll required to complete the task so I was waiting for the fix.
They said they have fixed broken NPC’s with todays patch
but the NPC’s disappeared for good.
This is very frustrating, and honestly a shameful mess. Whatever PR/marketing value this weekend held has been reduced to breadcrumbs. I’d say it actually hurt Anets’ reputation at best.
It’s sad but it’s true what you say.
Especially when the Grand Show failed really bad in front of all invited guests
(trial invited friends). I really wanted to convince my friends to buy this great game.

For some reason I have only 3 skills available from the staff out of 5.
not a graphical bug not a missing texture – clicking on the empty skill slots 4 and 5 does nothing.
It happened when I had the staff equipped in second weapon slot and the first weapon swap slot was empty.
The number of contacts appeared for me the first days of head-start and some days after the official release of the game. Then the notice just disappeared.
The same for me. I had this before the release then the indicator disappeared forever.
I am also not able to see contacts in other “worlds” at server transfer selection screen.
The feature is somehow bugged but it is not disabled as my husband has it visible Screenshot taken 5 minutes ago from trial invited account.
no way they would let you buy standard edition + digital deluxe for 2000 gems.
Digital Deluxe upgrade is only for items and wolf skill it does not include the standard game.
Anyway it would be nice if they introduced friend gifting upgrade from trial to standard by gems.
I am sorry I did not want to bump my post. I never do that and I am always using edit option when possible. The problem is that the edit post icon option on this forum is disappearing randomly. Sometimes re-logging helps sometimes don’t. If you have the ability to merge, please merge all my previous post into one. Thanks.
I can not browse or use Gem Store and my gem balance is not showing up.
Clicking on any tab or category does nothing.
I suspect that this broken Gems Store caused one of my character to rollback.
I got disconnected while trying to browse Gem Store tabs – after logging back in my character was rolled back in time 15 minutes backward.
Imagine you work hard toward something and you loot something really valuable to you and then all in a sudden they move you back in time and you loose your progress.
I’m really worried about this happening in the future.

Ok I have finished the daily achievement one more time but the sad part is that this time It did not gave me additional Black Lion daily reward which I have obtained before the rollback from opening the daily achievement chest.
I have finished my daily achievement and got disconnected . After logging back I found out my character rolled back 15 minutes backward without the reward and achievement .
Promotional videos / trailers / teasers (in game footage using ingame engine to render) are not actual game play videos. and actual gameplay is subject to change.
No need to waste time and resources to re render teasers each time a skill is updated.
Commander should be renamed to Gold Hoarder tied to Golden title and merged with this achievement. Make the icon gold not blue and visible to owner only.
Skill in farming for gold or using credit card. That is what commander truly mean at the moment.
I have seen so many silly trolling “commanders” in the game. They have no idea how (or intention) to lead the fights . What was the reason I began to ignore the commander thing in WvWvW all together.
The whole commander thing need to be reworked.
But until then …
Please Add an option that will let us hide commanders icon from the map and minimap.
I don’t play WvWvW and I don’t want to see the commanders crowds interfere with my PVE map having their icons overlap the important Points of Interest I am actually looking for.
Now when the Halloween event is over I suppose the Corn nodes should be removed from the game but
I can still see Raw Candy Corn in the game world showing up briefly for a few second – especially in places I have never been before.
I can not target or mine them , they do not show up on the minimap.
Playing a game in general is not a requirement – or posting on the forum.
Remember this is part of a holiday event which should be easy fun and rewarding.
On the other hand this is an MMO and if I have a problem with an achievement I can ask a friend or my guild for help. But here – there is no way to get help with this.
Furthermore other player make it even more difficult – as a distraction or blocking vision.
The Clock Tower is the most frustrating game content ever (besides the bot plague bonus )
I have spend more than 12 hours trying to finish it with no success .
90% of the time standing still wasting time and waiting for the progress bar to fill up – meanwhile eating up remaining time on my gem shop speed booster. Which did not help anyway.
It made me hate every player who is Norn or Charr .
Was this designed with hardcore masochists in mind ? Certainly not for holiday event fun.
After the Halloween update I am constantly experiencing a strange thing with mining nodes.
Mining nodes whether it is copper vein or raw candy corn – all in a sudden disappear when I get closer and there is no visible depleted node. No chance to gather. Then I face another direction of the map and same thing is happening. The node just vanish from the world and the minimap.
Is this intended like this ? do the nodes despawn after a set period of time or is it a bug.?
The way the boons, virtues and shouts work make it that bots benefit from my presence.
I am feeling like I am unintentionally helping bots with my shouts and boons.
How do I exclude bots from receiving my boons ? – block function does not work.

No. They let the botters earn enough gold = money first so the botter can invest in more accounts.
If I am not right let the Anet prove it. 2 months passed – nothing is done …
Can’t you all understand that anet is happy with bots ? botters buy game accounts in thousands . Anet do not care for one time buyers like legit players !
