Can we all please go back to the topic at hand. That “some” of DB/Yak have an undisclosed alliance. An alliance that “some” here clearly say is false. And yet, others can provide evidence, videos, pics, testimony to the contrary. Clearly some of the posters cannot stay on topic.

Just because you don’t know about the alliance, does not mean there isn’t one. Perhaps if you joined the voice server or other forums, you would be more apprised of such.

I do, I know all the big commanders, i talk to them all time on TeamSpeak, On Mumble. and in game. We don’t have an alliance, specially with Yaks. Your server is just getting an kitten kicking because you a dying server

So I’m leveling up a guardian right now, and I want to try a different style of play. I want to play in a support role instead of being on the offensive.

I do that a lot on my lower levels,
I ask for permission first from party members, first thing i ask.

then i make sure the boss is at a very low level, like about 1/8 or 1/4 left then switch.

Currently in our match up there’s been TONS of Ele’s, they take one person down then they run across the whole map then waypoint.

If you meant one d/d bunker ele running inside a group downing + stomping one person, that just means that group is a noob group. Lol… seriously go to spvp with a level 2 ele put soldiers gear on(that pretty much what 90% of d/d eles use in both spvp and wvw) and hit something. You will see that if you die to one d/d ele while in a group, you suck.

Well i haven’t been killed by one so i don’t suck.

Pretty sure the guys on our side got some good footage from that fighting whenever they decide to upload it, should clear up this little discrepancy. But honestly, your camp was flooded with people for an hour, and we had about 6 towards the back side of the camp. When that screen shot took place, your folks had actually cleared back up the hill to the north of the camp to build siege (to defend against the other team zerg pushing in the front).

Honestly its not skin off my nose. I don’t really view this any different than hiding in the corner at north camp, which has happened frenquently this week. These spots border the safe zone, and if your insatiable bloodlust forces you to chase people into them, fell free to hand over your badges at no risk.

The intelligent folks on your side sat on the siege in the camp and prevented us from taking the camp for quite a while instead of face-rolling into us at the back of the camp. Being a commander I would think you would know better.

It doesn’t matter if i died or not or anybody else.
Running into an invulnerable area that should have been fixed by now is just some weak stuff. Why use the games flaws?

I really don’t know what you are talking about. Loki you can see at 50sec into this video you jump down hit us and then run. Also this is the same group that you brought down to the south supply camp, which you only had ‘3’ with you.

This fight was 10-15 minutes before the SW Supply Camp fight. We ran into your group on our way back up and fell back to the camp. You had brought more people with you. Don’t change what really happened. Also about the invuln spot, quit crying about it, it’s there, don’t be a foolish and try to kill people that are standing in it.

I brought no one. I was not on my commander toon. you can clearly see on my screen cap. I went east after trying to kill that last Ele. I then went to SW because someone said they wanted to attack SW supply. I’m not changing anything.

What is flawed about it? A spot like that exists on every edge supply camp. Since you don’t seem to be a developer for Anet and their WvW team, it seems unlikely you have insider information.

Why do they continue to let PVE buffs work in WvW? Skale venom, etc? Certainly that isn’t intended, but should we refuse to use those buffs because of a higher moral standard? Its a game after all, and while I don’t condone cheating that allows you to bypass defensive structures, standing at the bottom of a hill that makes you immune instead of the top of that hill seems fine to me.

It isn’t like there are multiple ways to keep people from getting back to that spot, and you are no threat to the camp from that spot.

Tell me why it’s just that certain spot on the hill and not the rest of it then, since you think it’s fine.

My guild and I(Dragonbrand), figured coming into this match-up that CD would be crushing us, having won the prior week. To this end we(and a lot of other Dragonbrand fighters) went into CD bl at reset, seized that Hills keep, and kept it for three days. Had we realized the extent of the power-shift due to IoJ>FA transfers we might have rethought our strategy and tried to take and hold a foothold in FA bl. We never expected it to work so well, and if it served as some sort of catalyst to start a collapse of the CD wvw scene I am sorry.

To my fellow Dragonbrand fighters we now have a choice. Fight hard, focus CD exclusively and we might stay in Tier 3 next week. Or we can relax, take second place with the margin we have, and fall to Tier 4.

If we stay in Tier 3 we will be fighting FA and Maguuma. In that match-up I think we will take third, but it will be a good hard fight from all sides. If we fall to Tier 4 we will fight Kaineng and YB. And Kaineng will smash us, but we’ll still take second place easily over YB. I know, many of you will disagree with that assessment. But you’re wrong. Kaineng can field queues in all four maps, they can keep queues in 1-2 maps 24/7. DB can’t come close to those numbers.

This is particularly important because it will be the last three days before paid server transfers go active. I think it will be better for Dragonbrand morale and keep people’s spirits higher to stay in Tier 3 and fight a rough, but solid match-up against FA and MAG, rather than be steamrolled by Kaineng.

So get in WvW, and pressure CD until the end of this match-up.

When you say, “along with a lot of other Dragonbrand fighters”, do you mean Warsworn leading the siege on hills and the only ones dropping siege and running supply to defend it?

Kinda like we did again last night.

You seriously care about siege? haha wow dude. We drop siege all the time, I’m not going to drop siege if we have 0 supply.

And we also run supply and even more by extracting dolyaks to Keeps and Towers.

BP and Pk are both good guilds with alot of members. Dont judge their entire guild based on what these two trolls did. Best thing we can do is let the guild leaders of each guild know, so they can work on finding out who did it and can deal with it however they decide to do so.
