Guess IoJwanted to 1up my flame ram on commanders and threw a cata on my dead body. nice TRON, very nice and to IoJ. twice you try to take our lowland keep and twice you were meet against an SotD commander. first was me and then Del and both times you were pushed out. great fights this morning so far.

I keep hearing About darkhaven only running in zergs. I can tell you this is 100% false. While the zergs are running a muck rattling their sabers. Grim and a couple other smaller wvw guilds are running around taking camps and towers aswell as fighting the other small enemy forces that we come across. Very similar to what i see people from DR and Isle doing. Any server that only rolled in zergs would be demolished because the enemy could…just go behind them and take everything back.

In regards to Tullum and talking about what people should be doing in a group. I agree with you 100% which is why when im in a larger group im constantly in water trying to do as much healing and cond removal as possible. ive noticed others that see me do this also switch over and try to help out on the support end….lets see if it truly catches on!

I will give that to you. I see groups of <10 grim quite often, keep it up. Only other group I see is PD’s A-team who also happens to be the only group to even remotely put up a challenge 5v5.

If you played the banker shift, then you would see SotD in small numbers rolling in small groups. We will roll with the zerg for xp but we tend to break off to get other targets.

Ex: When DH was retaking SM from IoJ, our group of 9 SotD broke off and went to the NW inner gate of SM and started attacking there while the rest of our zerg were at south inner gate. Zerg fell back to outer gate and then IoJ saw us at nw gate and their zerg came. at that point our zerg went back to the south gate and got it down while IoJ fired on us.

Gab theres some tactics for ya since it work. DH dose use tactics but maybe when your playing they are not or you dont see them.

Also this IoJ dont fight DH…. Banker shift, DH tends to only fight IoJ since they have a SEA crew thats huge like our prime time. But around 6-7am pst we get rolling and we roll hard. Not ours/IoJ fault that DR dont have a great SEA crew to fight and force us to PvDoor.

Its frustrating to me because I wouldn’t mind seeing DH move up and do well… but until they learn a tactic other than Swarm lesser numbered enemy they will get crushed next tier let alone move any further.

And to me the fights have been insanely boring when I’m on, I cant wait till im off shifting at work so I can get some fun fights away from NA prime time.

Try the banker shift, lots of fun and IoJ/DH are even but at times ioj seems to have more thjan us. DR is outmanned durning this time. you will see DH use tactics at time when you can get people to listen but that dosent happen alot.

SotD decided to try and ninja DR Bay and got the outter wall down by 50% before we were forced into the camp where we had an epic fight against a zerg….. yes a DR zerg against about 14 of us. Fight lasted for about 40 mins. Yes DR held ud back but overall it was fun…… DDLG i belive it was, was there giving us a great fight. Hats off to you.

Also any IoJ or DR commanders, if a Flame ram was put over your dead body, that was me. Just pulling a Rager, thats all

I never tip any mesmer in the JP since i tip my server by paying for upgrades and droping seige all week long. That WP you use isnt cheap.

Also i do the JP when i see someone in map say they are porting and then its a quick hop over and hope i get some rams i use alot of.

Too bad this score will only be around for a few hours and DH once again will be in the lead. The 2 hours earlier reset time hurt DH since most of the overnight team dont come on till 7pm pst.(4 hours after reset)

Also good show from DR and IoJ today. and to the Theif i 1v1 in DHBL between the 2 lower towers GG. I was that asuran guard that bow before you attacked me and after i won.

Even with the bugs and what not, i enjoy GW2 more than I enjoy any other MMO besides 1(GW1). Wish Anet would add a few thing but I can wait for them to do so since I dont even need to send $15 a month(but I i do anyways…..kitten gems store)

you need an app to get nodes?? in a starting area? its the iPhone/iPod generation where everything is an app or app like. never have trouble getting nodes inless its my berries i need.

The the record on hacks,I report, my guildies report. Dont matter if its my team or yours, i still report. This action is -_- and even heared 1 commander on DH useing it and i have to wait to see before i can report. To let you knowI will do my part to end this kittens and so will the other 2 commanders in SotD.

All you guys will say then is DH/SF has numbers and have no skill. That sums it all right there. If/when SF joins us, I hope to tag team DR out of T6 and the end of cheating/hacks/number/no skill/zerg/ and what ever im missing.

4 80s, 1100+ hours and still going strong. Best way to make this a great game is to find a guild that you enjoy and do stuff with them. To me the only grind in gw2 is what people make stuff to be grind. been working on my flower power weapon for 4 months now and still dont feel like a grind to me since the bow i do got has the same stats as the flower bow.

Also i tend to farm in CS alot and dont find that a grind since im usely on TS3 talking with guildies and competing with who gets more bags :P

I would be happy to get the gold I used to buy the commander tag as there’s already a lot of commanders around.

I bought my commander tag before because whenever I log in there’s no commander in WvW on my server.

Thats why i got my tag for. i play NA mornings and there was never a commander around. Since the update, we have about 4-8 commanders on and i tend not to command because they have their tags up.

So now my tag is used morely in PvE and trolling

GW Factions was the game that got me hooked into me playing for 3000+ hours on my main acct and even started an alt acct. Truth be told, it was my favort place in all of GW1. Loved the jade sea, the mobs, story, and turtles. Kurzick had that goth feel and even if a good chunck of the forest was stone, it looked more alive. if you head up north in Factions, your map was a huge city for your playground.

Cantha needs to have a return into GW2. You could always change the theme of it to something less asian since it cut itself from the rest of the world.

Too bad DR isn’t like a guild tag on their server….. NoQQ you guys are worse than NSP and they got Raygut.

As a player that spent $50 in BL keys to get 3 weapon tokens, i approve of this. Would be nice to the others out there that dont have the cash like myself to spend on BL keys.

I hope player on IoJ told them rams dont hurt walls. We had it too since there is alot of new players on all sides of the field and its up to us(commanders) to teach these new players how to use siege. I would teach this person but im on DH and my hands are full with stuff already.

HoD, Darkhaven is waiting for your move to T6. T7, you can have DR and prepair for the mass QQ about being outmanned all the time.

Chalk it up to fairweather DH players in wvw i guess… i for one have never ever seen us with this many ppl out in the BLs.

Although the biggest zerg i’ve seen from any server in this match up was IoJs around 3pm pst. They were reclaiming their BL and man in was massive. I was impressed with their presence!

I have to say the same thing. DH almost never had these numbers against AR/BP and the GoM/HoD fights. There are alot of new players in our ranks that are normal in PvE. Most od the screenshots i seen of DH had guild tags i never seen in wvw before DR came down

Today i took part in 2 huge epic battles. 60+ on each side and NO LAG both times. I also know there was 60 on each side since i can see the amount of names now. Thank you

As a DH member, I will not say anything about DH server since it was already posted. I will say however, that GoM/HoD are 2 great servers to go for. If 1 of them had you guys when we fought them for 7 weeks in a row, we would have lost more than our first week. HoD has some great players and they dont whine about be outmanned durning off peak hours(I was there for a week to get a few PoI i needed). PvE they had more people in Orr than DH had(changed now).

Give HoD a try and you may not be disappointed about them as aserver in WvW.

Also, HoD gave us a run for the money more times than any other server we faced since we lost guilds and had to rebuild.

As I seen now, IoJ/DR, you both complain about numbers. If you guys can wipe our zergs so easyly, then you should be closer in points to us.

Welcome to the weekday DH numbers where we dont have the numbers. Come out in the morning since thats when i really play and shine the most. I am that upleveld asuran guard from MoRt. i have a peacekeeper GS to help you guys find me. Btw, it usely take 4 or more lvl 80s to down me.

On the note about DH numbers, we have alot of new players in WvW this week. I havent seen these numbers since RE and GoF was still in DH. Time to teach these new players how to play and enjoy WvW. Hope to see more great fights from both IoJ/DR as I seen this weekend.

To the person who said “with all the people dark haven fields,why are we in this tier” our morning shift is awful from sun to fri which is the reason why teams like anvil were able to pull 60k wins on us. If we had the population you suggested ,I feel we would be in t4

I will say this,dark haven has some amazing players. And I can’t wait to see what we can achieve in the future.

Our(DH) reset crew is a beast. We usely come out on sat morning in first and by sunday, we drop off alot. We have a great weekend crew(must have been off sat afternoon).

Zerg vs roamer…… I zerg since this is WvW not 5 vs 5. You may know me as that tall asuran guard with t2 asuran cult armor and a peacekeeper great sword thats upleveled in eb. You know the one that takes forever to kill :P

Now if IoJ can keep pressure on us and DR comes out swinging, this match up will have alot more great fights like when on friday night were Dr in their BL recaped everything and we try to only take their garr. DR you guys made that not happen and i /bow to you guys for your quick defence on it.

TC started trollin around and a lot of kaineng players moved to dh after wm/re ruined kaineng. So i went to my ppl :P faught a btsy group and a noqq was there too in ioj bl. Was just bout to kill a guardian with twilight from btsy and my game crashes and i get bsod lol. Weird stuff goin on with it.

Okay, so I’ve been lvl 80 for awhile and I have, like, a bajillion skill points just sitting, worthless, on my character because I don’t craft. Could we please get something for the non-crafters to spend these points on? Let us convert them to karma, maybe? Or use them to buy things in the Black Lion TC? Or trade them in for buffs like you could do in GWEN?

I just hate to see them sitting there doing nothing.

If you’re not interested in a legendary, or any of the other skins that require the use of skill points to create, let one of your guilds WvW commanders (or world’s if your guild doesn’t WvW) know you’re sitting on a bunch of skill points.

I’m sure they’ve got plenty of siege for you to upgrade (requires skill points).

I know a guy that would make a few gold on doing this for commanders. it was something like 10s per skill point used.

-1 person kills them, they get 100 xp
-a 40 man zerg kills him, 40 people get 100xp

Sounds just ludicrous to me.

If 40 people can get enough hits on a single player to all get credit, they should then as that 1 player was skilled enough to have 40 players tag him/her.

I really don’t see an issues with this. Zerg or no zerg, play your way. The best fun in WvW i ever had was a huge 50+ zerg vs zerg battle that lasted 2+ hours. this is large scale pvp, if you want 5 on 5 sPvP is → way.

“Things that take a long time to complete” are not the same as “Things that take a lot of play time to complete”. If you can’t continuously make progress on it by playing 24/7 it is not a grind. Furthermore, ANet never said they wanted to remove all grinding, they only said they wanted to remove all MANDATORY grinding. And by mandatory grinding they mean grinding to get gear needed to do content. Getting a full set of exotics in order to be able to do all content takes no grind at all. There is no mandatory grind. Whatever grind you find you impose on yourself to get cosmetic upgrades.

BiS vs exotics are a 2% difference. you may live like a sec longer than i would or kill something in 1 less hit.

Also getting the acended gear via dailies isnt a grind as dailies take around 20-40 mins to complete each day. I complete them doing what i enjoy, wvw, leveling up my alt, map completion or even run a fotm or something. Its only grind if you make it out to be one. on the topic of legendary weapons, players make it a grind since they want it now (besides the precursor which is just luck getting)

there might be a bug at work here however in both i didnt even see an event to take or defend so the keep wasnt contested and why they could wp back in

i tend to complete all 9 dailies each day. they are not hard and most of them can be completed by……… wait for it……… playing the game. I am a hugh wvw player and i tend to get 3 or 4 of them done by doing what i enjoy doing. the other 2 or so i go a little bit out of my way to get them done. The hardest daily for me is kill 30 bunnies since i norm aly dont do that but then again they get in the way in wvw and tend to dy there.

Overall, I really enjoy the new dailies over the same old day in, day out ones.

Also if you dont like them, dont do them. you are not being forced to do them.

You could add a 3 stage buff to outmanned. Stage 1 would make npcs, walls,gates harder to take down. Stage 2 would do the same for the players and stage 3 would make seige cost less and more of a boost to the other 2 stages. also on stage 2 and 3 would make suplies doyaks more faster

OT the calendar in WOW was a useful tool, not just for raids, but for planning guild events like RP, lowbie day and what not that my guild use to do. It brought the guild closer since almost noone but my officers use the guild website

The only daily i went out of my way for was the vets which there is a mini dungeon the C Forest that has nothing but vets in it. also near the TA WP are in fact vets. Lots of vets if you know where to look.

The events was a joke, completed in 5 mins. I really enjoy the dailies now since i am no longer stuck in a routine to do them in the quickest. I finish the day before with out even trying. I love the new dailies. Way easyer to do t hem than before
