the heals you are missing are from vigor(its function has been changed)… and where most of the healing came from in ah build. unless you had empower might and you were in a group along with staff #4, you will notice the difference…AH isnt very solo friendly anymore

^ this.. i do it all the time… not perma stealth he just hiding until the trap is set off, very effective and good use of it.

would someone like to post this monks focus build… and also what ability/triat gives us the chance to dodge more? i run AH build and always dead on endurance for dodge.

id stay away from guardian too if i were u, they buffed our underwater combat (kitten pointless if u ask me, im underwater 5% of my gaming experience)…and stealth nerfed the kitten out of our most viable build (AH)…im goin thief or warr no matter what nerf comes their way they still own on all aspects.

i’ll be scraping guardian via this patch, its either go a walking boon or go home, anything else its just a wanna be warr that glows blue.

we have 2 speed boost both on 30sc more cds everyone else perma speed boost and leap skill

as a guardian id like to have atleast 1% of that speed boost not joking we have zip notta.. as a wise man once siad " we are the fat kids in a game of tag "

gw2 fun starts at lvl 1 the lvling, exploring, DE’s and story are what make gw2. rushing or trying to find the fastest way to lvl 80 will just leave u disappointed, there is fun stuff to do at lvl 80 but there is no “carrot on a stick” mentality (well besides FotM for accended back and ring)… justenjoy the game it wasnt designed for the fun to start at endgame, if thats what your really interested in then WoW and the like is that-a-way —-→

thanks it helped to get the general idea of what they looked liked but the images on there do not give them justice at all, left me with the is that it feeling. extremely surprised they dnt have a showcase for those, to show them off

Anyone know where i can find a showcase for all the legendaries?… only thing i can find on the internet is the greatsword, staff and shield (note: sheild images always have “possible” before its name so im not even sure its the real legendary).

i agree with OP only for the simple fact that FotM lvl system is a “lfg grind” the dungeon itself isnt much of a grind and is pretty fun.

I vote no. I don’t run dungeons and I don’t want my sword a year from now still being just a few stats. I want it to shoot dragons out my butt or something cool like that. You want boring items forever then go play diablo 3. If your sever is barren come join stormbluff cause the game is as popular as ever here…….

WoW and Rift do this just fine they are advertised as vertical progression games and do it well.

Gw2 was not advertised as such and we all knew this coming into the game.. if you liked vertical progression “gear grinds” so much why did you even bother with Gw2?

also your D3 comment can be thrown right back at you… if you want a never ending gear tredmill go play WoW/Rift….

they did add new skins but its in the 20+ lvls of FotM

the holloween event is the perfect example on how content should be introduced.

Holloween event- “here have fun” “travel all over tyria, Uncover secrets in a fun scavenger hunt” “enjoy the neat tricks and treats” “all just for fun”

lost shore- “here have some new shinies” stay in lions arch" “stay in lions arch some more” " run this new dungeon (me:which is actually fun if i didnt feel the need to constantly chase a carrot)" “stay in lions arch” “run this new dungeon bout hundred more times, the rest of our game doesnt matter”

What im gettin at is the holloween event i did becuz it was fun and they didnt have to throw some ever increasing dungeon gear grind at me (rift and WoW have this pretty much covered if gw2 follows in thier footsteps they have no chance in h*ll), why they think that is “fresh” and fun is beyond me.

why do ppl always respond with find a bigger guild? the game has been out 3 months already and most if not all found thier comfortable pocket of friends albiet it a small guild or just a group of friends nothing before lost shore required u to be in a large guild… but now if i want to do somethin i must be in a large guild (aimed at fractals due to thier poor lvl system) im not being anti social its just ive already found my comfort zone and packing up and finding a new guild only usually works best at the birth of a game or yur first play.

ill also be avioding it for now (which my be a mistake later down the road).. i dnt personally mind the acended gear but what i do mind is the fractals lvling design, those of us who dnt wannajump on the tredmill or want to go at it casually are seriously hindered buy this if the acended gear becomes a must have for future content…also like to add they added new skins in the 20+ lvls of the fractals another reason to push ppl towards the tredmill… bottleknecking the community at its finest.

with the release of accended gear do i even have to bother with dungeons (outside of storymode) and crafting for exotics, rares are easier to get and i heard if u stick to just Fractals u get a chance at acended and they drop exotics… its a shame if so cuase i love crafting but hardly seems worth the effort and timesink if not viable… yes i know there’s only like 3 acended peices right now but unless they plan on releaseing the other peices months from now it seems needless.. plus the fractal grind will take up all the crafting and dungeon time for the exotics and with the lvl system in it i fear steping away from that to get left behind and not be able to experience future content.

gw2 did a complete 180 with the fractals release.. ^this post proves it
