I love to be original and take a Charr, or Norn.

The Mesmer is a PvP class, like in Gw1. At least I couldnt find a better explanation. The Mesmer is good in dungeons because of its condition applying speed and crowd control, but in casual PvE it has arguably the slowest killing speed and overall progression. I just hope after balancing it in PvP, they can move on to fixing traits for good. And eventually with expansions and new skills perhaps the Mesmer will become better in PvE, like in Gw1. Peace

1 and 3 are nice though. I would like to see 2 changed to “away from target”. Perhaps like staff 2.

Zun, they over-nerfed it. Its still not what “Phantasmal Haste” says. I wish they finally fix this trait and all the related phantasms, much time has passed. Some phantasms are unaffected, some attack faster than they should (well not anymore) and some slower. It continues to be a total mess of a trait.

Its still good with Sharper Images. You can inflict 4-8 stacks of bleed on a foe in like 2 seconds. However the latest update overnerfed its attack time when used with Phantasmal Haste trait. This trait is still a big mess, I have no idea why they selectively overnerf. Probably someone cried in sPvP. (I agree it was OP but just fix the whole thing instead of nerfing whats arguably the slowest and weakest class overall)

So instead of fixing the whole Phantasmal Haste trait mess, they simply did a quick nerf on the spot. Very unprofessional IMHO.

I noticed that using Blink while on auto-run will make your character model “glide” after the teleport instead of walk normally. Press the auto-run button and then use Blink with your mouse, and you will see what I mean.

Also wanted to say that trait “Vengeful Images” doesnt work, but then I saw this was already noted in the opening post (1.“Phantasmal Fury” blocks the Retaliation boon of “Vengeful Images”)
