“My Transactions” spins for ever.
“Trading Post” spins for ever.
“Gem Store” loads.

You have to play smart and make them burn their alternate forms and fears while you hide and kite, then you can get an easy kill.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgE5BJs0MQIGood video. That thief looks like full zerk which makes even more interesting fighting necro.
I wasn’t aware that shadow return removed conditions.
Thanks for tip.
Its no where near full Berserker, lol. Im using a 10/30/30/0/0 setup with Soldiers Weapons, Hat, Body, Legs, Divinity runes, and everything else is Berserkers.
Interesting. I saw you did a couple of consecutive 4k hits. Must be coming from Divinity rune.
So you circumvent crowd control through shadow step…
Why toughness? If you are fighting a necro, what traits from toughness help there?
does daggerstorm not grant stability after an early cancel anymore?
Yes it does. This is one idea, once every 90 sec. I may have to use this, long cooldown though.
I use Basilik venom with rune of Lyssa, the problem is that once Feared it can’t be used to break “stun”.
Leggies. Make them AB.
I do fine against the necros in solo queue with s/d. Pain response in acrobatics seems to help a lot even though it’s hard to notice sometimes.
It’s much harder as d/p but you can keep blinds up pretty often and it’s important to get in a ton of damage when you use the stolen fear from them. Headshot/steal-daze interrupt their heal and obvious animations. Shadow Return removes 3 conditions on the utility, use it at a good time.
Keep weakness off yourself at all costs and boonsteal protection when they activate spectral armor.
Thanks for info. It’s interesting. Seems S/D is a good option. However, you use D/P and the use of blinds with some timed attacks.
Now that I think about it I’ve faced two necros at once, which is impossible. My mistake. This is when I started realizing they are a hard class to beat. The really good ones don’t really die to thieves.
Also, does full zerk work well against them? Seems prone to 1 mistake down.

Good video. That thief looks like full zerk which makes even more interesting fighting necro.

When faced against a necro player with ultra condition damage, an hp pool of 15k is very low.
Couple this with no stability, makes almost for a perfect 1 shot down.
Aside from getting more vitality and going defensive, is there anything is a thief can do?
Or just run away and wait for the opportune moment, in wvw, to attack necros with fellow wvw’ers?
“This small minority with all the purchasing power becomes essentially the guiding force behind all the decisions Arenanet makes after the initial launch.”
Not totally true. ALL is not entirely based on them. 80/20 perhaps.
Can we make it revive faster? Also, when it revives it has some sort of bug showing 1hp. also, it makes you really slow. Overall it feels weird.
I just tried it. It’s moronic.
Don’t mess with the stealth, please leave it alone. How can 1 thief really make a dent on a zerg? A thief was meant to be sneaky and go just about anywhere. It’s part of the game. Don’t screw it up.
Don’t provide a counter to stealth. Please don’t. Thieves are squishy and when they cloak is because their health is very low. If you do, what is the point of stealth?
Need rare/exotic/ascended.
Speculators are beneficial to the GW2 economy because they provide liquidity to the economy.
Wow, I should sell now then since I am in no hurry to get an ascended weapon
I would. I bet it is temporarily hyper inflated due to people racing to the top…
Ascended weapons are a boon to gw2. WvW is not hurt by them. Technology is one component of war strategy but not the only one. WvW biggest factors are population, timezones, and match ups.
Of course technology is a factor but that technology advantage is diffused evenly, to a degree, in all servers i.e. each server has their share of legendaries and soon ascended users.
So categorically saying ascended weapons are “bad” is ill put.
How many legendaries are sold per week? How many incinerators are sold per week?
What would you say is the market size of incinerator? As in, how many are purchased per week?
Looks like 13G per. Must be good for something. Or specializing is the best strat?
Why does it cost so much? I think because it can not be crafted. Or is it because it is a great rune? What is it good for?
I agree with this change. In the long term, it makes the game better, and flexible, decouples stats and looks; play-style vs. looks.
I’d pay 25 silver for each silver d.
These aren’t lodestones.
These are close to a 1 gold. I need 250 of them.
Are these items available on Black Lion chests?
Hello;
Can we get them added to the Gem store temporarily again? With all the stuff going on, I missed the opportunity to get them.
Add them back for a few weeks so I can get some items.
As a matter of fact, bring back items for a limited time after the living story moves on to let people catch up.
Thanks
Hello;
When using the ultimate skill Tome of Wrath on the Guardian and with the Superior Rune of Lyssa, it does not grant all of the boons.
Please fix this.
Thanks
Widen the throwing angle to like 180.
Having the vision and mission clear is important. From what you say, it seems you do know what you want out of wvw.
Quick. What is your personal vision for WvW? And what appeals most to you about gameplay like WvW?
My personal vision… it’s hard to say. I find that the thing about WvW that gets me excited to play it every time is that the challenge is different each time. I’d like for us to continue to add new ways to play WvW and new wrinkles that make it what it should be. That means we will continue to add new abilities and expand the existing ones. It means we’ll continue to work towards quality of life improvements like removing culling and the nameplate visibility. To be honest, while WvW is an amazing game type, there is always something I think we can improve and I hope to keep up the work towards the goal of making GW2 WvW the most amazing MMO experience around.
Ingame name: Inferential
Profession: Warrior
Gear: exotics with undead potions and sharpening stones
I’m flexible but if I’m doing fractals or wvw, I won’t be able to come.
Add me to guild.
Thanks.
Server matching should take into account server population variations through-out the day. A good matching algorithm would be good for WvW. Having one server steam-rolled another is only fun for some.
As for the open-world rewards, tokens, money, high-level drops would help dispersed the population. Also, weave-in WvW, PvP, and PVE, closer together on the rewards.
Basically, farming is more lucrative ATM, be it Cursed Shore or dungeon farming. The question is, how do we get people interested in going to other areas? Well what makes people go to cursed shored? That’s the answer: gold/hr, drops, etc… So just replicate that to other areas.
Interesting thread. I haven’t read all of it though. One thought that did come to mind, pardon to the OP for not getting what he wants, Arenanet should consider opening up GW2 ala open source. Arenanet can be like other opensource companies and make money by stewarding the game. There are alot of talent in the userbase that can used to make GW2 better.
I’m advocating for a more harmonious synergistic relationship between the userbase and ANET. Of course not all parts can be opensourced due to trade-secrets, but ANET owns the IP so I don’t see any issues, more money for ANET too because of the enhanced content will attract more players.
For example, the OP wants more macro/micro-economic information. ANET could develop a platform for players to develop such information. John Smith can be the architect of such platform.
This is kinda the future, anyways, in the next decade… A game company making an MMO where a beneficent entity stewards the community, allowing for content to be created by the same users, ANET?
Thanks.
It would be nice to have team dungeon finder, world events finder, more options on precursor. Getting T6 mats and other stuff is actually not bad, these things just happen, albeit with some farming.
Can we make it so that precursors, and possibly other mats, can just be acquired through “normal” means? For example, if you like PVE then a random drop would give you the precursor. WVW? Same thing. PVP, some sort of drop?
Buying stuff of the TP is also a legitimate way, rather a different way to get it, albeit, a more expeditious way to get it. Make it a fun process, a byproduct of the game, almost like achievements, they just happen.
As it is right now, this aspect of the game feels off, “weird”. The rules are not understood, or keep changing. Granted, some were “bug” fixes. Yes, the bug is fixed but what happens to the items produced by the bugs? These type of decisions affect the game.
Why nerf farming, plixx? Some people like doing that, others don’t. But don’t change this! Instead, work on new content and stop changing the rules so much. Provide a formula and don’t change it. Or… leave the current system in place, both can coexist, formulaic game-play, grind, and skill base. Everyone wins.
There should be many ways to get to a legendary. If someone plays this game x amount of time, what do you need to prove you are legendary? Maybe that is missing the point. So just play. Does it matter that everyone in the game will wield legionaries? No. Almost everyone has exotics right now. I don’t see many complains.
Focus on the mechanics, the game-play, performance, arts, diversity, connectivity issues. Let’s say I wanted a condition build… OK, here is what you need to do. What about, I want the best agility build, fine, these skills, weapons will help. By the way, the legendary will enhance x attribute. Cool.
Give us flexibility of choosing the end-goal, the legendaries. I want to sit down and play. At the end of the game session, it would be nice to know if what you did got you closer to that. Lottery-based game play feels a lot like getting into a prestigious college, keep dreaming. Ha!

Can we get Lupi or, for that matter other bosses, to be less susceptible to resets?
