Thanks. Plays well, but I lack the mobility. With Traveller runes it loses too much Condi damage and duration. For me as a solo player rather not, in a team, it is certainly very good.

Looks to me not very dangerous. Is slow as a snail and certainly never there where it is needed.

Without Explosives, very weak Traitline, for SD completely useless. And of course with AED, our best Heal.
PVP and rotations mates not good. In this respect, a spec with Fresh Air is still realtiv the best, though not optimal. PVP live by direct reaction to surprising situations. That can Ele not. The class was rather not designed in terms of PVP. ^^
Everything from a solo perspective, in Premades can Ele be very strong.

I use now 2 Daggers and “Quickening Thirst”. Not only because of the permanent 25% Speed but also because of the 33% Recharge. I actually tested everything: Dagger / Warhorn, Dagger / Focus, Dagger / Dagger and everything also with a axe in the Main. Dagger / Dagger is imho the best for PvP. For WvW i prefer Axe / Warhorn.

Also, with warhorn alone you have mobility imo, much better then swiftness isn’t possible.
You do not have the Warhorn Trait. Despite Pack runes you have swiftness only half the time, thats would be clearly not enough.
It’s 2/3 of the time with pack, enough for me!
And remember, other people can give you boons too

It’s enough in pvp. pretty sure he’s talking about pvp not solo roaming in wvw
I roam in PvP as much as in WvW. As a solo player that is necessary. I have taken the Trait “Quickening Thirst”, so I have always 25% higher speed. “Banshees Wall” do not appear as useful, because then you lose “Vampiric PreSense”. The loss of “Blood Bond” is more acceptable.

There are five options for Power Necros to get the necessary mobility for PVP. Spectral Walk, Quickening Thirst, Banshees Wall, Signet of the Locust or Traveler Runes. Your “Meta” Build does not use it.

I stand before the same problem that I did not know what a “mokittenamaging”. I just got but not afraid to ask, because I was sure that everyone except me know what it is.
Its nice and all but you will spend half your play time running to the fights at a snail pace. ENJOY!

After three years they’re finally gonna remove hotjoin <3 (as the first impression of pvp atleast).
Consistently. Abolish Solo Que, solo players flee in Hotjoin. Even away. Would be terrible if the premade Gankers find no more victims.
The Death Match game type gets a lot of hate. ONE of the reasons for this is that players build and trait their characters for Conquest. Players then have to configure their build differently in the short time before the match starts or risk being at a disadvantage.
With the inclusion of Stronghold the same problem arises.
Where is the problem? You have at least 5 Toons. Configure one for DM and another for Stronghold.
The idea of having 3 slots for every character (a total of 24 character slots) just to be able to alt if a death match or strong hold map is chosen is a worse solution than simply rushing to change traits/weapons/skills in the short time before the match starts.
I did not mean that. Each class has strengths and weaknesses and for each map is a different class with a different build meaningful. If you have eight, you can therefore also serve 8 maps, more than the game has.

Staff ele or wellomancer are much better for that map.
And you said you run solo and in small groups. So if you are going to come here asking for advice don’t pick apart a persons reply to you so you can be a kitten about it
Ok, with small groups I meant spontaneous groups where I have no influence on the build of the other.
That’s why I wrote: “First without complying with the team composition.”
But Staff ele or Necro Well are an idea. So you think that AOE is the way for this map?

I’m solo or small group players have all 8 classes and seeking the optimum build for the respective maps. First without complying with the team composition. My experience so far:
Courtyard: Power Longbow Ranger
Battle of Kylho: Thief with Shadow Trap
Spirit Watch: Shoutheal GS Sword/Warhorn Warrior
Forest of Niflhel: Thief with Shadow Trap
Legacy of the Foefire: Solo Lord Mediguard
Skyhammer: Decap Engineer
Temple of the Silent Storm: Thief with Shadow Trap
Better (other) ideas?

The true MMO player is the solo player. Only solo players are ready with all the others to form a team. Group players are exactly the opposite of MMO, they are limited to a few. Therefore, you’re wrong.
I’m switching from SWTOR here because BioWare offers us only arenas in Rated. Therefore, I do not agree.
Arena is a simplified PVP mode, for people who are overwhelmed with goal-oriented way of playing and I am very pleased that there are none here.
As long Metabattle the builds judged only by the readiness for VoIP Premades in tournaments there is no reason to use them for a solo player. For solo players are “Meta” sub-optimal, since there are much better Builds.
Are you telling me that a cele engi or a shoutbow warrior is useless for soloQ? That makes no sense.
Also, would you mind linking one of these über effective solo builds?
The good solo builds are also on your side, just not “meta” or rather in the roaming WvW section. Or in the Trash area, because not suitable Premade.^^
PU Mesmer, Fresh Air Ele, Static Discharge Engi etc.
Some of the “meta” builds rely on the team that gives them Switness, and are without Premade slow as a snail. Solo suitable? No.

I play all 8 classes regularly and most solo. 7 are close together. By far the best Win% has my Power Ranger, which is almost 20% more than any other.
Metas are builds for groups tournaments. They live on group synergies. They work very well there,
but have no function in
- Solo PVP in all modes
- Hot Join
and little function
- Outside VOIP Premades
Some Metas funtion halfways well even solo, but that’s just a coincidence.
