You’re complaining that people are defending objectives on the map? That you’re getting fights?
I have nothing against Fights, I am primarily PVPer. A “Fight” in which the defender has the support of 10 NPCs and various buffs is none. But the majority of PVE Blober sees this of course different. The roll over individual Roamer completely without any skill.
Bah, it’s all bad. Roaming is pointless at each camp are defenders, most camps are fully equipped and additionally provided with guild extensions. At Tower (I have previously taken alone) is not to be thought.
The (old) Maps are absolute junk for Roamer, only now I realize how good Desert Borderlands were.
Currently I am on Gandara. Makes a server switch to a less populated Server sense or is it “thanks” World Linking all so bad.
I have played at elite all 9 classes per WvW. Revenant is approximately in the middle in terms of suitability for solo roaming. Outstanding is my Engi, he makes Tower easily solo and my thief who has the best mobility. And PU Mesmer naturally.

I have leveled now 7 Elite over WvW. Everything as a solo Roamer. For none of activities for Roamer it needs the elite. I can NOTHING better after I have the elite. For Zerger is may be different, but that is not my part and uninteresting to me.

Where exactly? I am now during the 8. Elite and can relate exactly how long it took each with and without elite for the taking a Camp, Tower, Shrine etc. Nothing has changed significantly. Situations against other players during the day (When I roam, not at night when all are on the road) are so rare that it does not matter.
So you’re judging where the elite specs are based on your solo robot smashing on a freaking PvP map. Seriously? Calgon take me away.

I’m not really understanding what you just typed there. Either way, the OP was asking about WvWvW, you know, the place where PvP happens and you’re reply was “I can PvD (PvE) just fine and I don’t fight other players so HoT makes no difference.” Is that really a healthy gauge for how the HoT specs perform in WvWvW? No.
Your perspective has nothing to do with reality. For ArenaNet WvW clearly is PVE, recognizable by the PVE Gear, the PVE mechanisms of leveling and getting the elite and many others. I would also prefer to WvW would work with PVP rules, but it does not.

Well, it did not give me rest. The Bristleback I have now. Smokescale there are probably only when Easter and Christmas falls on a day, seems to be very complicated. But I’m confident. Altogether there were more than 10 hours PVE. Now I know again exactly why I hate it so.
So, now, more than two hours later, I’m just in Silverwastes. Ok, no Druid in WvW. I have also still 5 other professions, for which I must not make PVE. ^^
An hour is more than enough time. Just run to the location and ignore enemies. You may want to google a map since the first time you run through the HoT maps you will probably get lost.
Hm, I guess that is difficult. So far I have 2% of the Map explored (PVP Map), nothing else. I have now checked the wiki, I must at least by 10 regions through until I get there. How is this possible in an hour?
I have my Elite specializations now unlocked at Thief, Revenant and Engineer. Exclusively via WvW. Next, I wanted to make my Ranger to Druid. Just how I play the new pets (Bristleback and Smoke Scale) free?

i made 2 suggestions, 1 that costs you money if you want to keep themats (you’ll mainly use them as the converted mats anyways) and one that earns you money by converting them to sell-able items… what more do you want?
An honest answer: just throw away ^^.

that was why i suggested the eaters (2 out of 3 are fairly easy to get as long as you’re willing to spend a few hours or so in pve)
though if crafting or pve are both not an option then your best option is just to destroy them as they have no other use outside of that (as far as i know)

I rather do not ask why I just get PVE Crap in PVP and after a round of PVP first long time must be at the trading post to sell the garbage. ^^
But there’s some that clogged my inventory and can not sell.
Namely: Dragonite Ore, Bloodstone Dust, Empyreal Fragments, Obsidian Shards, Globs of Dark Matter and dozens Ascended Rings (useless Stats).
The inventory of 10 Toons is now full and I have the stuff either recycle or throw away.
Therefore: Can I use it still something to start or make it money?
BTW: I do not play PVE and do not advertise Crafing. My WvW Toons are well equipped with Ascended Gear.
A few things 1.) Metabattle.com is endorsed by ArenaNet. Like it, love it, hate it, whatever it is the source for what is considered meta and what is not. 2.) These builds rise up through the ranks mostly (if not entirely) based on what we’re seeing on Twitch and meta generally comes from the most common (not exclusive, but most common) builds played by the Pros.
How do you write correctly: There is a meta as it is played by VOIP Premades at tournaments. No more and no less.
For “normal” and especially for solo players, it has no meaning.
As an example: None of the meta build is good in Hot Join. There is therefore a different Meta. The same applies to unranked, and the lower leagues. Everywhere is another meta.
Only perhaps 1% of the players play in tournaments. So it’s a waste of time to deal with the Pro Meta if one is not pro. ^^
Unless of course you have a hierarchical worldview, then of course you always look upwards. But then a therapist would be more advisable.
Correct. A solo player can only reach Emerald or Sapphire with happiness. Premades cheating from every matchmaking and automatically go to the highest ranks.
This has the great advantage that you will never meet as a solo player on Premades. Wonderful.

No, you’re wrong in all points. But who wants to admit that he is a cheater, wich bad game design (Premade vs. PUG) exploits. But ok, if it makes you feel any better. ^^
And yes, it is a team game. But while PUGs are ready with ALL (It’s an MMO) to team up, you serve yourself from the small group. Your style of play has nothing to do with MMO, there is an exclusion of almost all other players.
Imo, the current server-centric structure of WvW is outdated, and runs orthogonal to the megaserver system for everything else in GW2.
Yes that is a problem. For my part I’ll play again when I see that I can unlock my full Elite Spec for at least three Toons within one month in WvW itself. At present, we are more like 3 years.
On of the thing one sees well that Guild Wars 2 has only the name in common with Guild Wars. No one in Guild Wars would have thought of something to introduce. PVP Toon with all skills were instant buildable. And the PVE levels at level 20 (more there was not) went to 3 hours.
Now it is only one of many mainstream MMOs focusing on PVE, raids and Grinding.
Sad development for all the from the very beginning (2005) were in Guild Wars. And looking for an alternative ….
You need 5 proofs for the Maguuma scrolls, which are worth 10 hero points. So that’s 200 proofs per character for 400 points. I don’t know how many proofs you can get per rank up, perhaps someone can clarify.

I was going off the blog post, apparently they changed it. But you get 4 proofs per rank up according to a poster above.

So I have to make 400 ranks for a Toon. I have 10 Toons are a total of 4000. I create daily 2 ranks, are therefore 5.5 years until I have all the elite?
I’m very satisfied. The role of the thief in PVP as a Roamer is significantly strengthened, mobility is now by far the best of all classes.
And no, I do not need all-rounder.
I have all the classes and all the necessary roles (Team Fighter, Bunker, Roamer, Healer). I change the class before the beginning of the match based by my team and the opponents.
