No Culling – T1 Megafights

Showcasing large scale battles as everyone eagerly tried to converge on first day of post culling patch. Scenes in this video were chosen to capture depth of field ( friend and foe ) as well as entertaining battle sequences.

Bump, Titles should be an option. They are way too space consuming, almost anywhere. Also like server “short names” idea.

If you are a PvE player entering WvW, just think of it as original Orr, with insanely aggressive, hostile, smart, cunning, sometimes stealthed, run across the map to get you, Risen.
See, it’s just PvE with a twist.
Partying is highly recommended. Especially the first time, in the JP.

I’ve actually spent hundreds of hours documenting the ritual involved in gaining Stei’s attention and favor. For the uninitiated, it involves pink hot pants, a bobsled, a chipmunk and the song “Dancing Queen” amongst other things.

Additionally, one must actively participate in our favorite activity PvDoor WvWvW; guard Dollie and Bessie, refresh siege, carry and use supply, build siege, and fight like a cornered Skritt.

JQ is right now holding off both SoR and SoS in JQ keep on EB. Really heroic and over 5 commanders. The hate on us is strong, but we can fight back.

It’s not hate, it’s how EB works. Later in the week SoS will be in the same position, so will SoR.

@ MornaVal, I had not started wuv wuv wah before week 39, so I didn’t experience those times. I know different match lengths occurred as well.

Why can’t my Norn guardian dual-wield Asuran thieves?

Why can’t claimed facilities, SM, Keeps, Towers, Camps display the name of the claiming guild?

During my PvE (that makes me impure, right?) hours, I have been screen-shotting, friending (for tracking) and reporting what I call blink farmers. Teleporting about node to node and back to a start point. The game still has a few, in the earlier days it seemed they were uncountable, now that the numbers are smaller, this is doable. Since PvE is not so competitive, or has the same level of drama, it is lower key. Interestingly, these “players” have much lower achievement points than the average player.

You can sleep in siege, but your nameplate is always hovering there. Where is that “disable nameplate” switch in options?

My machine is too slow with recording at the same time, so I don’t run them. If I did, I’d post them to another site (yt, gamecam, etc) and send the link to Anet. I would not use any keyword that would attract watchers, Something like event, bay, 20130127T2245, BL, JQ, SoS. This is just my thoughts.

I’d love more loot bags, but as near as I can tell under the current regime only damage gets you qualified for bags. This messes with support classes (or wvw weak classes cough engi).
Maybe the new patch distributes loot better.
I really want to see badges as a “currency” and directly credited to you. Not something that fills your inventory, has to be grabbed before you dodge roll; and in a game of mobility is left behind.

One of my odder captures, was of an SoS guardian, in a T3 Bay, owned by JQ, no attack/defense activity, I was refreshing siege. The guardian (not normally a stealth/teleport class) appeared at the base of the vista ramp, ran up it and stopped to view. I got a screen shot and attacked with my rifle. The guardian turned, started to jump down to me, and vanished.
Since the vanish occurred “in combat”, with no other “thief/mesmer” activity before or after the event, I’m forced to conclude this was cracking of the teleport variety.
I sent the SS to Anet. Ingame reported as well. No idea if this did anything, since I have the shot, I suppose I could friend and see what’s happening.
This post is not meant to reflect on the 1000’s of players that do not do this in wuv wuv, nor to defame or disparage any server. These crackers are everywhere.

tl;dr Catching a screen shot is your best evidence, but if you run fraps (and similar apps), that would be even better evidence.

We apparently are good enough to provide badges, as SoS and SoR will attest.

Get to tier 1, and you too can farm badges from Quarrians.

Does the welcome mat also exist for weary travelers from the Sanctum of Rall, and Jade Quarry? That is a tiresome trek from the south, with roving bandits, creatures, other assorted riff-raff.
