Are there any ghost that aren’t human?
Asura/Norn/Charr/Sylvari ghost?
I don’t remember ever seeing one.
If only human ghost exist… Why is that?
Not everything should be basically given to us.
On a side note, stop telling us where to go directly through mail, but instead hint at it, like during the Southsun Cove release.
Those who want to be told exactly where to go and what to do, can search it up online.
Well you can suggest them to bring back infantile mode to every living story.
that way you can shut your brain off and yet complete the content.
You’re not meant to beat everything the first time perfectly.
I did it the first day it came out with a random group i join in LA, we died twice at each boss, but we made it through.
From the Savage Pride of the Jotun.
“Once powerful, advanced, and arrogant, they proclaimed themselves rulers of the Shiverpeak Mountains and raised great monuments to themselves on the highest peaks”
“Long ago, the jotun possessed the ability to use magic and were skilled enough with it to create enchanted monuments in the Shiverpeak Mountains.”
“All that remains of their once-great arcane spirituality are a few carved runes on forgotten, snow-covered peaks”
on that last quote, in EotN, I remember when we first arrived at HoM, Vekk and Jora both say they’ve never seen it before. Basically “forgotten”
Also… Jotun were star gazers.
Top of HoM has this star shaped opening, towards they sky.

“Just keep your eyes in the sky”
Aetherblades/Scarlet are going to attack the flying w/e that thing is that is coming with BotFW
The Gallowfields in Brisban Wildlands is full of those holes.
Which is near Fort Vandal which obviously means that the Bazaar is how the bandits sell all their stolen goods.

I thought Southsun just surfaced due to volcanic activity, which was why no one ever ran into before, and there are old sunken ships all over the island.
Why are there ruins at Pearl Islet waypoint? who made them, how old are they, any thoughts?
Goes faster with a group, more swiftness uptime, and you kill the holo’s faster.
Also just checked, that’s exactly how the shatterer flaps his wings, so It’s likely not going to change.
I really want to enjoy this event. I really do.
A grind would be alright, if the reward lived up to the effort. I’m staring at the wings now, and I am 100% certain that if they aren’t adjusted in animation and clipping errors, I will not spend any minute trying to complete any of the dull achievements. Most my friends share the sentiment. A lot of people on my server’s map chat do too.
Needs a fix and a good statement as to how this was even released in its current state.
The skin isn’t even available yet, so as far as we know, they’re trying to fix it, may be fixed by the time the wings are available.
a lot of people on my server’s map chat = the few vocal people.
Needs a good statement as to how this was even released
… It’s not released yet.
and why would you want more than a fix?
Some people just can’t understand the concept of random.
Just because you really want one, doesn’t mean you will get one.
achievement descriptions spoil it. they need to be removed until they are available.
They attack LA.
One achievement says, good people of LA can breath easy now.
Another says, take the captains council to safety.
Something about tracking down Marjory in “The Dead End” in divinities reach (likely the new POI in divinities reach)
Something about finding the missing suspects around the world (makes me think of the aether things, which were spread out)
The ticking mountain is right next to LA (next to hooligans route, the undermarket)
probably where the attack starts.
Just an idea, but as a lot of people don’t like the fact that magic find is in armor/weapons/trinkets, I thought that another way to implement it would be through playing through different content of the game.
Such as…
Making your world completion x .5 = +xx Magic find (if someone has 100% world completion , that would be 50% MF.) This would be character bound
Completing every path of a dungeon = 5% Magic find. This one would be account wide.
Completing your personal story line = 10% Magic find. Again, this one character bound.
Your Characters Fractal level x .5 = +xx MF. Of course this one would be character bound.
So if someone has completed their storyline, done 100% map completion, and has dungeon master, with level 22 Fractals, that would be 10%50%40%+11% = 111% total magic find.
on a 2nd character that hasn’t finished their storyline, and only has 34% world completion and a level 8 fractals level, would be 0%17%40%+4% = 61% magic find.
Also, DE’s…. If their were big rewards for completing every DE in a certain map…
each map would have a reward chest with 3 random rewards + karma/5 laurels (same as map completion, but always level 80 rare/exotic gear, or T5/6 materials). Maybe even a chance of a precursor?
These would be difficult to complete, as it wouldn’t tell you where you would be missing those last few DE’s, but only how many you are missing.
I think the rewards would be worth the effort to find them.
This would also help the community to work as a whole to look for those few difficult to find events.
These would also be character wide, so you would be able to complete them several times.
Just throwing some ideas to get the empty maps populated again, and to reward playing through every PvE aspect of the game.

So you want to undercut even more?
That 5% is actually stopping people from undercutting excessively
If anything it should be risen up to 10%, with a 5% sales fee.
A-Net has said that they’ve included clues all over the game for recipes that work in the Mystic forge.
Has anyone found any?
Or @ANet, did you guys forget….
Don’t waste your money buying sugar pumpkins.
Krunske probably bought a few thousand, and is now trying to bump up their price, so he can sell them when they’re 1s+.
Few people tried doing this with the guru post.
It’s not a smart investment.
Add more of a variety to dragon timers (and other world events), instead of the 3hour timer they’re on now, make it a 2-5 hour timer, that way it feels a little more dynamic, instead of clockwork.
And make the Dragon fights (and other world events) up to par with the difficulty of Claw of Jormag.
I was once able to beat Shatterer with 5 people (all of us on turrets, mobs weren’t hurting us enough to force us to get out and fight them), and we actually defeated him faster than we usually do with a huge mob.
These bosses have to include more Veterans/Champions among the basic mobs (And introduce silver mobs, I don’t understand why you have them exclusively to Dungeons)
This would actually put pressure on players like they do in Claw of Jormag, where you often see people go down, or die.
Not like Shatterer/Tequatle/Behemoth, where 95% of the players attack the Boss, and 5% can easily take care of the mobs.
Another thing is, they’re fail proof.
We have an unlimited amount of time to defeat them, it doesn’t matter how much we die, or how long we take.
These event’s need a timer, where we have to defeat them under xx minutes, or the Boss leaves, and another DE happens due to us failing.
Ex. Behemoth isn’t defeated withing 8 minutes, he goes back into his portal, and a massive wave of aatxe/shades come pouring out and start taking over the swamp, and all waypoints near the swamp.
Or
Claw of Jormag isn’t defeated fast enough, he ends up overrunning the pact, and destroying the camps nearby. Dragon leaves, and in the following DE, the players have to rebuild the area, and take it back from the icebrood.
The mobs need to be given more health when there is a very large amount of players.
That way they survive the initial burst of AoE.
Something like the Claw of Jormag event, where there are veterans and champions mixed in.
Right now the more players there are, the easier it gets.
Increasing the amount of enemies there is wont help, but making them tougher/stronger will.
Are these new permanent tonics/merchants account bound or can they be sold?
Just finished a completely new path in TA (Got the 5ANet points for doing 3/4 paths) and i got 15 tokens.
(Finished about 20min ago)
Did HotW about 1 hour after this patch, got 30 tokens
(First time ever doing that path)
Just did this dungeon again right now, Butchers path, got 30 tokens again
Free keys from story line quest.
People will get lucky and eventually get them.
Making tokens account bound will only bring back the same problem GW1 had.
Dungeon groups will only take 3-5 profession (because people WILL post the most efficient way to run through dungeons), while the other classes will have re roll a new profession if they ever want to get a dungeon set for their unneeded profession.
Groups will be Guardians/Warriors/Ele’s while other professions will have trouble getting into a group.
@Tattered
Should have done some research before buying the game.
They have always said you wouldn’t have to grind for stats, only looks.
I think the biggest problem is that we mentally keep a count of how many more runs we have to do.
“In Total I have to do 30 runs, I’ve done 4, so 26 more runs to go.”
Each run show have some variation, and it should also reward you for getting farther and farther into a dungeon.
I think mobs should have a (very) small chance to drop tokens, and after each boss that spawns a chest, that chance show be risen just slightly,(to reward people for completing full runs, instead of those who would try to farm the first few mobs), while at the same time lowering the token count from chest.
(Officially say Token drops are unaffected by Magic Find.)
Ex.
The mobs from the entrance to the 1st Chest should have a 1% chance to drop a token.
The mobs from the 1st Chest to the 2nd Chest should have a 2% chance to drop a token.
The mobs from the 2nd Chest to the 3rd Chest should have a 4% chance to drop a token.
Etc.
And a flat reward should be given for completing the dungeon, say 5 tokens. (20 tokens for completing that path for the first time ever on a character)
That way, every full run should net 20-40 tokens.
Every run wont be so stale.
(This is what I loved from GW1, getting lucky with a Chaos axe or an ecto/shard drop)
