These SoR forum warriors need to lighten up a bit, even holidays most of SoR posts consists of angst and bitterness towards BG, well if that hate driven nature of your leaders keeps this tier competitive, SoR is doing a good job keeping up with BG.

Hey hey, I’m not hate driven! I just give out long corny motivational speeches to CDS that we are here for the fight and the challenge, not the scoreboard! Otherwise we would have stayed on SBI when it was 2nd seed tier 1 :-P

CDS had a blast tonight, lot of good fights to be had and long drawn out sieges! We lost our TW allies when the map crashed however, so we lost some momentum the second go around but managed to get inside some towers before being found out

Well, with the holiday’s this is kind of a “bye” week anyways. Though I think its doubtful you will win. I’m a bit biased though, being from Blackgate.

Actually just want to post some kudos to Choo for one of last nights attacks on our Garrison. Building an Omega Golem at our South west gate while a small group took outer watergate only to port up golem and all the attackers up to inner water gate was genious. It didn’t work, but my jaw dropped in amazement at the coordination and tactics used. And you were able to get CDS to take both our towers while we fended off that attack. Brilliant strat, cheers!

Thank you! CHOO and CDS have been family for a long time, we’re WvW addicts bad, lol. When Choo said they were hitting Garrison, they already knew I would strike elsewhere and get some swords up

We saw Stonemist needed help afterwards, so we decided to be a suicide distraction on garrison gate before our queue popped. You guys made sure it was a suicide rush! Good fights that night!

Great fights in Blackgate Borderland tonight! CDS vs KnT was quite an enjoyable fight! Towards the end you outnumbered us though, props on the quick organization towards the end of the night.

Its finally snowing! White christmas for the east coast!

Like you can’t control your hackers, we can’t fully control our trolls.

And stop the kitten talking SoR. You’re in 3rd place during your “best” NA time. You are in no place to talk trash when you are at +190 in what is supposed to be your best time zone. Shut the kitten up.

When Blackgate gets accused of being a hacking server because a player hacks, or gets called hackgate, you all ask that and say that he entire server can’t be blamed for the decisions of a few bad players. Likewise for spying, example in the thread that was just removed.

Since you don’t enjoy sweeping generalizations, I ask that you respect your own sentiment and not do the same. If you refer to ANY of the past few weeks threads, you’ll see that it is a very small vocal minority that continue to throw kitten around in their words, or stir up some good old troll bait. These select few forum warriors Do NOT represent our community as a whole.

So as I have honored your wishes to not condone sweeping generalizations, I think it would be appropriate for you to do the same. Many of us fight tooth and nail in game and simply come here to compliment or get score updates (especially if you’re a third shift employee like myself) , with a new server in our midst, let’s not give them a bad public opinion about our servers, yeah?

Also, I’m sure Blackgate and Toast got hit just as bad, and you all know me well enough that I don’t smack talk of make excuses. I know for a fact SoR is missing 45-50% of our force. At least in CDS I have nearly half of my hardcore members traveling, because we’re all old farts (a lot of members are 30+) with children, and theyre missing most of this match. Which sucks, because Toast are proving to be helluva opponents so far!

I truly look forward to next reset when all 3 of us have our full fighting force in the field! Prepare for server lag

For a week. SoS took what 3 weeks, and they were good, I mean outnumber you, outplay you, outzerg you, skilled players, dead on tactics, that good. SoR is the T1 Gatekeeper. I cant wait to see the BG, SoS matchup. SoS will humble your butt, like they did to SoR, and they were champs about it.

I’m sure they have some decent players. Every server does SoR included. Laudanum or Vengeance or that CD guild for example.

But getting zerged? It is all the same to me. I don’t care what their nametag says.

t1, t2, t3 is all the same to me too. Who cares? There’s no reward for winning in WvW. I just go out and try to kill people. Makes no difference to me who they are.

That’s what I did on Yak’s Bend, that’s what I do on Blackgate, that’s what I’d do on any server, regardless of rank.

If we get bumped up to t1 and lose then we’re right back to fighting SoR and that doesn’t seem to be what either server wants anymore. This matchup has grown stale to me and I think a lot of people are feeling the same way.

I’m assuming you mean CDS, as I havent seen any CD guild tags as of yet. Either way, props to Team Riot as well, you guys are a pain in my tooshy. I’d move on a camp, and BAM, welcome to the Riot whoopass. You guys were fierce.

Lol, all the trash talk… Looking past all that, I’ll just say myself and CDS as a whole had a great time in Blackgate Map, and found a lot of even fights which was nice!

Over 49 hours of CDS WvW footage recorded this week ALONE! Tons of video editing to do during the holidays LOL!

Thanks CHOO! CDS and CHOO go way back on Sanctum of Rall and you guys are considered family to us as much as any CDS member!!

I completely agree there should be rewards for upgrading. However, I dont have it bad like the OP.
On our server, I have plenty of people willing to donate for upgrades, spending up to 15g within 3 days of reset night. This is mainly because we have dedicated scouts on our upgrading(ed) objectives. For instance, after CDS claimed Bay Keep we had 2 people to escort each yak, a scout running along walls, and a scout hiding between briar tower and bay south. I feel sorry for the OP people abandoned him so quickly, I suggest finding the right WvW guild for you where order is maintained, and tasks rotated and delegated to ensure everyone gets the same amount of scouting hours/attacking rewards.

Nice thinking on the ram operators part. There have been many times weve weakened a tower then backed off to allow IoJ to swoop in and take it, allowing us to surprise assault a keep and flip it.

The enemy of my current enemy is my current friend.

Always exhaust your other enemy’s resources never your own!

Besides, imagine the call outs from BG defenders watching an IoJ ram take down the gate while a Choo raid waited behind!

What a busy weekend in WvW! Still recruiting!

Though, it did give IoJ some momentum on SoR map, but they lost it.. 15 minutes later..break out!

Loved it! I find these break outs to be…silly.

2-3 days a week, yes! We’re mostly WvW, with casual pve play.

Our international and NA base are looking very promising for organizing overnight map coverage

Shout out to the BG guys in Bg map tonight! CDS ran into multiple fun skirmishes in the north while our force was down south. When CDS broke into Bay while SoR forces were working on south gate we run into some really fun fights inside!

If your on SOR and currently on Blue in EB. Its not actual double team, it a much simpler explanation. We both, IOJ and Bg hate you. Its true, We Both Hate YOU!! SOR. Your commanders have antagonized both servers for 3 weeks to such a degree that we would both lose everything to simply make you suffer. We Hate SOR. FACT!

RED = 3rd place server. So they have objectives which are closer to each other, and given the advantage of the overwatch keep, which has a clear advantage to capture it’s nearby towers with somewhat ease(veloda, and orgewatch), heck even SM is an easy cap for them with the trebs reaching from overlook to SM outter wall.

BLUE = 2nd place server. their structures are reasonable close, but with no true advantage towards their near by towers. Durios has a minor SM treb position, but nothing to great. Heck all the other near by towers offer the same, but durios seems to be the tower of choice..

GREEN = 1st place server. has no real advantage towards SM, also has the most easily attackable lowlands keep. 2 watergates, main door which is placed far far from the inner, so you can’t really use the siege on inner to protect the outer, and basiclly all the walls can be easily walked to and knocked down. Thus making green zone the hardiest to defend.

Actually Klovan and Wildcreek can both treb SM mate. And Klovan’s trebs can be placed where a cliff ledge protects them from SM trebs, thus making headlong attacks/ballista necessary for SM defense.

Attention Anet!

I think a lot of players will agree with me on this, and I have seen it posted before but lost in the masses!

If the culling will remain for awhile, at least force the client to render name tags before models. At least we can tell we are surrounded by red names or allied name plates and have a better understanding of the situation around us. We can no longer cross server whisper people without finding their name on the forums, so why should we care what armor skin or weapon skin they possess? It’s not like rivalries between individuals can be formed from skin appearances really.

Respect for your dedication, I’m in the same boat about playing non stop. But you are on one of the servers with the bet coverage capabilities. Try playing on a NA heavy server that manages to stay in tier 2 second place against IoJ and Blackgate, I see people play for days without sleeping. You can afford to sleep some with SoS coverage, mate. Ratings don’t drop so easily.

We are still accepting new players to GW2 and WvW alike! We have created numerous player made guides in legendaries, WvW how-to, speed dungeons and cohesive groups, and even farming guides!

Let’s end the 2v1 nonsense from all sides, please.

It’s called WvWvW, there is a reason for the 3 way battle.

So that the weakest in the tier can snipe points from the one beig weakened, the second taking points from both, and the first taking points from whomever they kittenish please.

My only complaint is the server with the best coverage gets the green spawn in the EB map(I’m not a big time EB commander) but it seems to be the most easily defensible from keep mortars and trebs. Other than that, I see no issue with the WvWvW system as far as having 3 servers in a fight goes.

IoJ hits us when we are weakest to stay in T2 ( they are losing rating every week) and BG hits us because we are the biggest threat to their position. ( we both are increasing in rating weekly)
