I have to say… after spending over 12 hours straight in SoR BL map, thank you all for the overnight combat! As a Commander, you really had me working through all my tactics to both hold and push our ground in SoR Map. Finally got AB and Redbriar tower back and making pushes on south when we started losing numbers to sleep. (pesky thing that).

Hello there!

While Caedas is gaining more and more Oceanics, we arent predominantly Aussie. We have players around the clock that love to WvW. There is a guild in my server called [KIWI] who are oceanic based. Not sure how much they PvE though, see them with us a lot in WvW.

WvW focused? Oh yeah, you’ll definately fit right in at Caedas [CDS]. As far as dungeons go we have scheduled dungeon nights twice a week, puzzle farming in WvW, or farming for WvW funds in Orr. Most of the events we do are WvW however. And while we at EST based we have recruited internationally as well in order to maintain a presence in WvW during oceanic time zones. As such we have some UK, Asian, German and Australian members as well!

Now while we are hardcore and take our WvW seriously, we enjoy ourselves and have a blast doing it. After all, it is a game meant to be enjoyed!

People logged off, went to sleep, came back into WvW and still saw 32 Caedas going strong in the AM Eastern time. Good times in WvW are always to be had!

As for Caedas [CDS] we have Scheduled dungeon runs 2-3 nights a week. WvW is basically non-stop as is tournament spvp. We have players in alot of timezones and most are on during evening time NA, but we also have players during oceanic hours in order to keep a presence in WvW.

Another wonderful day of sPvP tournaments and WvW!

Who are we?
Caedas has been a guild since 2007 on WoW(with leadership dating back to Vanilla Beta days), with players also playing in Guild Wars. We strive to be a tight knit group who has each others backs in dire straits, after all…who wants to be scattered to the wind and picked off one by one?

About Us
We are a very organized group, with dedicated leaders for each facet of the game. (PvE, PvP, Crafting, Recruitment). We believe the best way to excel, is through excellent communication and organization.

Our Focus
Caedas is a PvX guild. Our main focus and dedication is WvW, while we run dungeons 2-3 nights a week and farming groups. While most of us prefer WvW, we do need venture out to get new gear and build our upgrade funds after all!

Timezones : International. To be competitive in WvW, we have formed player bases around the clock.
Member Size as of 12/21/12 : 155 (70 hardcore members, the others are very very active but have college/children!)

Excellent question! This short and simple application (3 short answer questions) allows us to keep our database ongoing. We keep track of timezones, professions, and playstyles so that we may be better organized for WvW and Tournament PvP!

I also want to recommend Mara as a great Commander. I’m glad to see someone pulling 24-48 marathons as often as myself when the server is losing morale due to point deficits.

(No one tell my wife, but I consumed 8 energy drinks saturday and played for 49 hours with 1 hour nap after I saw Yak’s bend came out FIERCE. Hats off to you yak’s bend, I cancelled all plans on that weekend. LOL)

I agree with Mara on this point, let’s keep it civil Sanctum. We’ve won, and had outstanding matches in the past 3 weeks I have been here. However, do not get complacent or kitteny. I come from Tier 1 (Stormbluff isle, queue times were unbearable even for a guild group of 50), and it’s no walk in the park. We must remain vigilant and focused, or otherwise we’ll be the next ones stomped out like a joke.
