Congratulations on #2! I’d ask if you’re getting any sleep, but then I realized that you’re probably getting more sleep with the baby than you were when playing GW2.

Especially when we were in tier 2 against Bg for so long, I definitely get more sleep now as some of you BGers can attest too! :-P Sad, isn’t it? More sleep with a week old baby and a 2 year old son than with WvW -_-;

They’ve been here, Smokyz. Its just when you NA people sleep, and us NA insomniacs stay up late to play with them. NYS and HIRE field some really good numbers when they can, HIRE and CDS was running two teams of 30+ on SoR one night and rocking it out! Its the EU time that JQ rears its head and eats us whole…they dont even chew us slowly…its so cruel..

We are here! We’ve been trying to to play on most nights, It has been really fun tbh. Linking up with [CDS] has been great too

Right back at you bro! Its been an absolute blast from going to 4 week old enemies to allies and fighting tooth and nail alongside each other and joking in teamspeak 3! Great to be on the same side after all those fights in T2 HIRE

I won’t lie, I actually called it an early night during EU prime (im NA prime – through oceanic prime into EU prime player), and actually slept for 4 hours. Thats the longest ive slept in one day since my days against Blackgate. >.>

Pretty much every SoR forum warrior is in CDS. People call Indo a troll but I think thats just some past history in another game. I’ve always found him to be intelligent and insightful.

I won’t lie, we do have 2 forum warriors. They know who they are, and they have been spoken to about it. Especially the one who went to another thread to be a forum warrior. His posts were deleted, and he apologized and I apologized for him. Now, keep it clean and civil. I have not once bad mouthed a server or guild in my long history of WoW, GW2, GW1, and I see no reason we can’t get the same respect even though we have a forum warrior in our guild.

I have a feeling JQ is letting us get kitteny..(SoR and SoS) then coming out during the week and making us all kitten. o-0

When I went into HotM from Lions Arch and saw that..my hope waned…Seems every GL of WvW only guilds was stuck there LOL. Indo, Purp, Myself and then 3 of our commanding officers. I was like “Ahhh noooooo”

Welcome to fights where 3 servers are alive and population capped. We will 2v1, SoS will 2v1, JQ will 2v1. get used to it, this is what tier 1 is about, picking your fights wisely to win the war.

BG and FA, i sincerely hope you guys pulverize TC into tiny bits of RP’r dust. I’ve never played against a server that constantly complains so much about everything. Needless to say it was a great joy spawn camping them to the extreme ( trebs, ballistas, shame ram trains and barricades). I can trully understand why FA detests TC so much now that i’ve played against them.

Oddly, the first time SOR faced them, i dont recall them being this way.

Oh, so thats where your guild was. PiNK ran into most of the real guilds like CHOO, FEAR and TW but I guess we didn’t spend enough time around the spawn area to see if you guys we’re any good. Hopefully we’ll notice you next time.

We tried to catapult Durios from and we were wiped by a group of SoR atleast 3v1 and quite a few decided to do this because it was obviously a fair fight… I know not all of SoR is like this but I’ve seen it more and more often since the transfers a few days ago I was 1v1’ing a thief from CDS and I downed him a few times and he rallied off drakes nearby then I was killed by the zerg and he proceeded to message me saying how amazing he was and I should learn to 1v1… really?

I salute if I enjoy the fight though, as the warrior I dueled by Bravost the other night can attest. TC guy, Dwit, I believe his name was.

So for those feeling disrespected by the actions of some SoR, I apologize on their behalf.

As for the throwing the match issue last week, I will personally admit to being guilty of that for CDS not giving it our 100%. I actually used the week to catch up on sleep I havent had in 10 weeks. Anyone from SoR or CDS can tell you I sleep about 2 hours a day between leading WvW and watching my Son. So yes, I didnt go hard last week..I slept 6 hours a day.

Also, I will sincerely apologize for any member of SoR coming onto here with a bad/negative post. Unfortunately, I cant control everyone, I can only apologize for them and wish TC all the best in their future WvW endeavors.

You can ask anyone on my server that I havent slept more than 2 hours a day for 4 weeks now, purely because of trying to fight tooth and nail to hold ground in one map when out coveraged. I know how you feel, I truly do. If your community leaders have ANY questions/advice on how to organize mass logoffs so you guys can get coverage in, I’d be more than willing to shoot you all ideas. If you wish for it, that is. I wish not to force advice on anyone who feels they have it under control.

As for the whole beating down hills gate without siege..We dropped a few, but your mortar shots are 100% spot on, props to the guy manning that inner one. Also, we were just clearing outer siege for a golem..I did not expect people to beat the gate down.

It is not about SOR. (run that again in your head one more time).

Its about the game as enjoyment, Wvw as it is played and three server communities that make up a Tier and in this case Tier 2. What you argue is good for SOR is not good for the tier…… for the rest of us in this thread. There is no solid argument any of you have made to convince me of that. Now it may be that the Tier’s health, problems and fun quotient is not really your problem or concern.

At least be honest about it.

Like I said, when this shakes out, TC most likely won’t be in T2 anymore anyways to worry about this. I suspect you will be back in T3 due specifically to 2 other servers on the way up.

I suspect karma will catch up with SOR and you are actually better off hiding in T2. TC got here and made it here without a mass wagon train. I doubt we are going anywhere….. and whenever we end up we will be giving all we have and never opting to avoid a fight because it might be difficult somewhere else.

SoR got to T2 and was on the receiving end of two servers with vastly superior coverage for months, and never gave up. We also made it here with out the ‘mass wagon’ train and in fact actually lost people over that time frame.

So yeah you are right, Karma will catch up with SoR. It already has. We finally got the coverage we were lacking.

I have a question that is easily going to be construed as offensive or something by some sensitive people so let me EMPHASIZE that I am purely asking because I honestly don’t know and have always been curious:

Was SoR a transfer destination at some point? I remember SoR was a T5 or T6 server for a few weeks following release (I distinctly remember an SoR/NSP/Yaks match that was ridiculously close right up to the finish), and then suddenly you guys shot up. I do know CDS was ex-SBI and TW were from JQ, but was there ever some sort of organized move to SoR? What about the other major WvW guilds?

Honestly interested in some of the history here.

It was pure coincidence. CDS got tired of 4 hour queues on SBI, and wanted to try something new to rebuild our guild community. (We had a bad leader at the time). We picked SoR because we had a member in CDS who spoke highly of GSCH, and how the server was named after Roger “Oldroar” Rall, a deceased member of GSCH. I found it inspiring and heart touching, so we voted for SoR.

Then TW showed up the next week..ugh… ( <3 )
